  1. There has been of late focus on negativity but there is much more positive spirit and community here than we are given credit for Today, the first day of 2012, and the past few days of 2011, we have have some threads that reinforce the spirit of community here Two wonderful ladies (Emily Rushton and Isabella Gia) acknowledged for their ascent to Goddesshood 42 Cerbites collectively wished a Happy Birthday today 3 Posting milestones acknowledged Berlin for 3000 posts Cato for 4500 posts Someone else achieved 4500 posts too, don't remember who, but he was very pleasantly surprised this morning, I'm sure, that he got acknowledged. And if I've missed anyone else's recent milestones, please feel free to add to the thread, no offence intended by any possible omissions My point, this isn't just a board...this is a community. A community which is far more positive than given credit for. So on that note, wishing everyone on CERB a safe prosperous, positive and happy 2012 RG
  2. Congratulations Emily on your much deserved ascent to Goddesshood What a great way to begin 2012 RG
  3. Congratulations Isabella on your much deserved Goddesshood And what a way to start 2012 RG
  4. Happy Birthday to all of you. Here's wishing each and every one of you the very best on your special day...all the more special since it's the first day of the year RG
  5. Reel Big Fish...only song coming to mind with that is I'm Going To Miss Her-Brad Paisley RG
  6. Congratulations Cato on 4500 Looking forward to the next 4500 RG
  7. Tiny Tim is normal compared to this dude...this is one weird dude and one freaky "song" Tities Like A Woman RG
  8. I like Andy, my fellow music affecinado and music thread game player :-) RG
  9. Sitting back, relaxing after cooking and eating a New Year's Eve steak dinner. And looking forward to 2012, starting with my first encounter next Saturday with a special lady RG
  10. I like Meg, she's a sweet bundle of positivity RG
  11. Could play out a sex assimilation fantasy...might be scary at first, but rewarded later Resistance Is Futile :-) RG
  12. Something to interject here. My hobby (I can't view intimate interpersonal encounters between people as a hobby, but I digress :-)) is fishing and I'm on a couple of fishing related boards. They seem to go through cycles of negativity too. The difference, this board, and community wants to rectify the negativity on this board, and not just wait for the cycle to end, and keep CERB a positive safe and welcoming place to be. Other boards sometimes let negativity fester, we want this to return to it's positive environment. I think it says a lot about the Mod, Admin, Town Council and all CERB members that we collectively care enough about this community to fix the hiccups and keep it a safe and positive board to be on A rambling, for whatever it's worth RG
  13. Congratulations Berlin. Enjoy your posts. Always get something from your contributions Looking forward to reading many more from you RG
  14. Well I'll ponder a answer. Any sexual act between consenting adults is a basic human right. The state's role wouldn't be to make sure everyone has sex. But it's role would be in fact lessoned, for example prostitution laws would be rewritten to ensure women aren't being exploited/pimped out...in those cases women aren't consenting, they are being forced. And hopefully with the acceptance legally of sex as a human right, there would be acceptance of prostitution, along with other avenues of sex, be it marriage/dating/one night stands from a bar pick-up etc. Sex as a right would also include acceptance of sexual practices that are now kept pretty much in the dark (ie bdsm) As for being a right, and the question of regulation, well rights often do come with regulation. For example, voting...it's a right, but you have to be enumerated, provide ID at the polling station before marking the x. You have a right to government health care, but likewise, have to get a health card, requiring you to provide identification. Some quick ramblings that may make no or little sense, but have pity on me, it's been a year of postings, I'm running out of gas LOL RG :-)
  15. It is a shame that Pete chose to no longer post. And it may be a wake up call, reminding us why we are here. No one is trying to sweep things under any rug Here is but an example of some of the positive threads. One is older, but is a ongoing positive thread, which is why I included it. If any other threads have been missed, my apologies, and feel free to add. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=75581 http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=75235 http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=75779 http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=58683 It's not sweeping under the carpet to want to return CERB to it's positive self. And as much as Pistol Pete will be missed (and he's always welcome back) dwelling on his departure will just feed into the negativity and accomplish nothing It's time to move forward RG
  16. One that the balance is completely paid off Had a platinum mastercard once, the cheque on my insurance on my boat (first boat was a write off, but that's another story) wasn't coming in for a few days, wanted my new boat NOW!!! so I was able to buy it on the credit card, and then just pay it off when the cheque came in. But scary really having that amount of money available like that But for me, as much as possible I now don't use a cc, prefer cash as I go RG
  17. Wishing everyone out there a Happy New Year A special thanks, or appreciation to all the CERB friends I've made since joining CERB A special thanks to the lady (she knows who she is) who this past summer celebrated with me my one year anniversary of partaking in this lifestyle And a special thanks to all the ladies I've seen who made 2011 stand out and be memorable for me. You are all wonderful companions A special thanks to the ladies I've met and we are more than SP/Client, we are friends. Finally, thanks to the Mod, Administrators and Town Council for keeping this community on track, even though at times it has to be frustrating. You have my appreciation, and I'm sure all CERBite's appreciation for your hard, unsung work Again, Happy New Year RG
  18. I kinda had the same problem in the beginning, but in reverse. I live in smalltown Ontario and need to travel to the big city (cities actually) to see ladies. So I plan ahead. And even though single, I do get some of my weekends committed for me by family (elderly mother, brother) So I need to plan a few months in advance, to get a free weekend (family told it's off limits LOL), book a hotel etc. In the beginning ladies thought I was one of those email wasters just contacting them and booking appointments to waste their time. But as I got established, well it's worked out My advice, same as Julia's, stick to CERB, get a board reputation, and find a lady to see. Good luck and Happy New Year :-) RG
  19. Another positive thread...this is a good sign for CERB Some quick thoughts. 1. When posting, offering opinions etc, remember this underlying philosophy it's a good guide "CERB is not a review board-It is a recommendation board so if you do not have anything nice to say...Please don't say anything at all" 2. CERB is a useful place to gather information from a cross section of people engaged in this lifestyle, if you have a question, ask 3. Not everyone agrees with everyone...be a pretty boring world if we did. You can respect another opinion without agreeing with it. State your opinion without putting someone else's opinion down. 4. Sometimes people start on CERB on the wrong foot, and get derailed. Short of it being a banning offence (up to Mod/Town Council btw) a second chance can be warranted, they can get back on track, and they can become positive CERB members. If they don't well they will come to the attention of the Mod/Town Council and dealt with. 5. If something posted annoys you (or you haven't had your first cup of coffee LOL) sit back, relax, watch tv etc, then post when you've cooled down...that emotional response can end up looking bad too 6. Not everything posted has to be about escorts. This board has humour, music, LOLCats etc...much more than escorting. If you don't want to read those posts, don't...but they just may put a smile :-) on your face 7. For those who think the ladies carry more influence than the guys, I believe we are all equal and opposite sides of the same coin. It might seem they carry more influence, but most "other boards" are for the guys, this board is for EVERYONE, lady and gentlemen alike. But that's just my opinion Just some quick thoughts. And I love how there are many CERBite's who care about this community and don't want it to go the way of the "other boards" Thank you drlove for posting this thread RG
  20. I'm glad you said that Chanel. I know none of the ladies I've seen (even the very few bad ones) I consider as a body part/sex provider. Every lady I treat and consider as ladies, because they are ladies and they are wonderful companions (both in and out of the bedroom) too. If only a body part, for sexual gratification, I know my encounters would be very empty and unfulfilling and I would have quit this lifestyle almost when I began it. I hope most ladies, and I think most do, consider the guys as more than a walking wallet or a "john", that they are seeing gentlemen. A quick rambling, and thank you for your post Chanel RG
  21. Happy Birthday Zoe Best wishes on your special day RG
