Sorry Alexandra Her stunt didn't enlighten me one bit Where was she during the election campaign though? All this media coverage is just now, in the heat of the moment. She'll be a trival Google search in a few years time As for getting a job, any prospective employer, even outside the government will think twice...being fired from your job is a black mark beside your name, no matter who does the firing RG

Her 15 minutes of fame won't just haunt her if looking for another government job, any prospective employer will certainly wonder about her personal suitability to work for them I know when I was going to university, applying to be a page was a tough and highly sought after job, not something to be squandered by carrying a partisan sign and having 15 minutes of fame If she really was concerned about Harper and his platform, why didn't she come out during the election campaign voicing her opinion and trying to sway the vote. Instead, when it is to late to make a difference, she insults Parliament by holding a stop Harper sign...yeah, real difference that makes And for her to equate her "civil disobedience" with the Civil Rights movement, really IMHO insults the Civil Rights movement All she is is a 15 minute news story, and I'm sure when she is looking for a career, she is going to find a lot of closed doors My 2 cents RG

Incall vs Outcall? Provider Charged in Edmonton
roamingguy replied to suburb1's topic in In the news
Crosby said if neighbours notice single men between 35 and 50 are often stopping by a home and staying for only 30 to 60 minutes, that house is likely being used as a bawdy house. With evidence, police can often shut it down.[/i It sounds on the face of it, reading between the lines that the ladies were drawing attention to themselves, and not showing any discretion. Probably the neighbours became suspicious, and contacted the police Quick rambling RG -

3 hour session versus 1 hour intro/session

Well if it's a marathon I want, I'll book only 30 minutes, and that includes time to answer the door, take off my clothes and get dressed...said half tongue in cheek and half seriously LOL RG -

Another example, sadly, of people needing to be trained in etiquette, good manners, common courtesy and common sense. I don't know, I was raised to be a gentleman and thought it was normal to be and act like a gentleman. It was the minority that had bad manners. How would these guys feel if it was their mother/sister/daughter getting cat calls. So simple a concept, treat others the way you'd like to be treated (or in this case, your mother/sister/daughter treated) RG

3 hour session versus 1 hour intro/session

And to add to your post Angela, likely, if the chemistry wasn't right for you, likely it wasn't right for the guy too...one of those ymmv (which to me includes the chemistry between the lady and gentleman). Sometimes people just don't click, and it's nobodies fault But that's why I prefer two hours. In part because I do have to travel to see a lady, so one hour just doesn't seem long enough. Three hours, for a first encounter, well if no chemistry, three hours could seem like an eternity LOL. Two hours seems just right. I should add that when I am looking for a lady to meet, a lot of what I use in determining who to see is the lady's profile/website/pm's/emails/posts, and yes, I look at the pictures too Gives me a idea of her personality, and whether we will connect and have a good time Thus far, it's worked for me pretty well Some ramblings over my first cup of coffee RG -

3 hour session versus 1 hour intro/session
roamingguy replied to a topic in Escort Discussion for Thunder Bay
Well for this guy, a one hour encounter would seem like a quickie to me, and not my thing. I prefer my first encounter with a lady to be a two hour encounter. It's enough time to get acquainted, sitting, talking, then go to the bed for fun, and lie back kissing cuddling. If it's a good encounter I'll see her again, and for at least another two hour encounter, but more likely for a three hour encounter. But I guess for me I like a GFE, and kinda hard to have that with a quick one hour encounter At least in this guy's opinion RG -

Sal Understandable on first glance about the personal details. In fact when I was a newbie not all that long ago, my first reaction to verification was much like yours. But, and the first time you get verified, there is a bit of nervousness, you sit back, analyse what is being requested and why. First, the lady DOES NOT want the information to blackmail you with. Most of us have some disposable income to see ladies. Not enough to make us targets of blackmail though. Second, what could be gained by the information. Blackmail certainly, (unless you are rich LOL) can't be the motive. Hoping to break up your marriage, do guys really think these ladies are doing this to trap a guy into a relationship Any money for the ladies comes from being good or great SP's The information is for the sole purpose of verifying us for the ladies' safety. Until the lady and gentleman meet, they are both strangers meeting alone for intimate time together. And in spite of guys talking about their privacy, the ladies' do bear much more risk. Thus far, I have been verified three times. All requested was real name, handle on board, reference, phone, and email. I do share the issue about workplace, only because I'm in an office shared with three other people, so there is no privacy, and I don't have a private line. So my advice, if there is a lady you want to see, and she requires verification, get verified. You'll find it is a good first step to a trusting encounter with a lady. And for me at least, any lady I wouldn't trust with my personal information, is a lady I wouldn't trust at all, and wouldn't want to see Some long winded ramblings from a guy's, well this guy's point of view RG

Well a couple. First, and this really won't seem like much when posted here, but for those few who know where I work, they can deduce who, generally speaking, said this. And it was that I have integrity and honesty and don't lower myself down to their level. This makes much more sense if you knew where I worked. Second nice (but not second nicest) compliment. A few of the ladies I've seen have commented that I'm a gentleman. It was the way I was raised, to be a gentleman. But it seems alot of people in mainstream society either don't care or don't notice it, but it is a noticed and valued character trait here And third one I can't say, it would breach something private between a lady and myself, but I am very flattered, and it is a real nice compliment RG
