  1. If I only knew then... 1. Forget about the focus on a career...it never materialized (don't get me wrong, I have a good paying job, but I've been stuck in it for 26 years) 2. Don't have alot of friends, but the ones I have are good true friends, the rest aquaintances/co-workers. 3. If I had known how my dating/relationship life was going to turn out, I would have started hobbying much much much sooner in life...and from my experience, the ladies I've met hobbying have been much better than the ones I dated 4. No matter what, family is important. 5. Generally speaking (some exceptions to this) nobody is better than somebody else, we all have our strengths and weaknesses. Yes, someone may be down one day...help them up, because tomorrow you may be the person that is down Some ramblings RG
  2. First off, I don't believe any SP requiring the level of screening that you provided will make life difficult for you. It is done to ensure their safety. (btw does she have a icon with a ribbon indicating reference provider) A few ladies have this on their websites I can't see a lady using this screening method for nefarious purposes. It would quickly backfire on her, as word would get out. Other ladies who use such screening methods would find prospective clients refusing to give out such info to any lady. Not to mention the sp in question would lose alot of clients fast. As for what happened, don't know. We haven't heard her side of the story. Maybe instead of an email, or text message or pm phone and talk to her If after you try everything and no results, just move on. I give you credit, for not mentioning her name, shows class. Hope everything works out RG ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Just a question, and it's something I do. About two weeks prior to the encounter I email to semi-confirm the date is still a go, and a couple days ahead of the scheduled encounter I finalize details, and confirm the date. Just wondering if you do something like that Just a thought RG
  3. Robert Palmer Simply Irresistible and Addicted to Love RG Just thinking, the ladies might want to add outfits like the Robert Palmer girls wear to their wardrobe, and wear their hair/makeup the same way. No one's head would turn, no one would suspect anything as you walk through the hotel lobby On second thought, can that idea RG
  4. Sara Evans Two songs from her...one how love starts Suds In the Bucket and how it ends Cheatin' RG
  5. Emily Rushton (Emily in Toronto) has redone her website Looks good http://www.emilyrushton.com RG
  6. "Stewardesses" is the longest word typed with only the left hand And "lollipop" is the longest word typed with your right hand. (Bet you tried this out mentally, didn't you?) No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver, or purple. "Dreamt" is the only English word that ends in the letters "mt". (Are you doubting this?) Our eyes are always the same size from birth, but our nose and ears never stop growing. The sentence: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" uses every letter of the alphabet. (Now, you KNOW you're going to try this out for accuracy, right? The words 'racecar,' 'kayak' and 'level' are the same whether they are read left to right or right to left (palindromes). (Yep, I knew you were going to "do" this one.) There are only four words in the English language which end in "dous": tremendous, horrendous, stupendous, and hazardous. (You're not doubting this, are you?) There are two words in the English language that have all five vowels in order: "abstemious" and "facetious." (Yes, admit it, you are going to say, a e i o u) TYPEWRITER is the longest word that can be made using the letters only on one row of the keyboard. (All you typists are going to test this out) A cat has 32 muscles in each ear. A goldfish has a memory span of three seconds. (Some days that's about what my memory span is.) A "jiffy" is an actual unit of time for 1/100th of a second. A shark is the only fish that can blink with both eyes. A snail can sleep for three years. (I know some people that could do this too.!) Almonds are a member of the peach family. An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. (I know some people like that also) Babies are born without kneecaps. They don't appear until the child reaches 2 to 6 years of age. February 1865 is the only month in recorded history not to have a full moon. In the last 4,000 years, no new animals have been domesticated. If the population of China walked past you, 8 abreast, the line would never end because of the rate of reproduction. Leonardo Da Vinci invented the scissors Peanuts are one of the ingredients of dynamite! Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated. The average person's left hand does 56% of the typing. The cruise liner, QE 2 moves only six inches for each gallon of diesel that it burns. The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket. (Good thing he did that.) The winter of 1932 was so cold that Niagara Falls froze completely solid. There are more chickens than people in the world. Winston Churchill was born in a ladies' room during a dance. Women blink nearly twice as much as men. Now you know more than you did before!!
  7. Neil Diamond-Brother Love's Travelling Salvation Show RG
  8. Too much information this early in the morning At least it wasn't a gerbil...could lead to gerbiling (google it if you don't know what that :icon_eek:is) RG
  9. Yes this is a great site, no small measure to the efforts of the Mod, where members, both the ladies and hobbiests can share information, (not to mention laughs and song) And everyone (well almost everyone) has a mutual respect and affection for one another, definitely not the stereotype "mainstream" society would have us believe It's been a little over a year since I've joined CERB and I'm glad to be part of this community RG
  10. Bryan Adams (Last name begins with an A)-Cuts Like A Knife RG
  11. I've posted this song before dumb as it is, but what the hell, she does look good Olivia Newton John-Physical http://www.spike.com/video/olivia-newton-john/2751693 RG
  12. Believe it or not, the nervousness and excitement in anticipation of the date is part of the fun. It means the encounter is something special, and the lady's company is being looked forward to and appreciated. And if I wasn't nervous, I'd be dead, or close to it. RG
  13. It really on a site like this this question shouldn't be too personal They did a study, and found 95% of all men masturbated. The other 5% lied. RG
  14. I to am also a planner...and I'm talking about outcalls. Since I live in Smalltown Ontario, my hobbying requires travelling, thus planning to make sure I have a free weekend. I like getting a nice hotel room...no motels or Motel 6's for this guy. Prior to the date/encounter, I'll email the lady, find out if she has any refreshment requests (it's usually wine). The bottle will be chilin (if white wine) in an ice bucket. I'll also have some juice and water available I'll have purchased a gift, and the gift and an envelope with her fee will be sitting in a gift bag on the coffee table or dresser I'll brush/floss the night before. Seeing as I'm going to be all nerves day of the date, I won't be eating...that said, to avoid bleeding gums I'll brush morning of the day of the date, but no flossing. I will use mouthwash liberally throughout the day...not to mention breath mints. Night before, I'll shave down there I'll have a shower/shave about 1 1/2 hours before the lady is to arrive Change into slacks and a shirt...wait by the phone for any last minute call. Heart is thumping right up into my throat by now...look at the watch, look at the door, pace, check the time again, again again, heart pitter patter pitter patter then that soft knock on the door, and you open it, a beautiful lady has arrived Much harder with incalls, 3 1/2 hour drive, all the way stomach in knots, heart pitter pattering away...but thats another story RG
  15. Seeing as I'm not a businessman, but a poor public servant:roll: my disposable income is used for hobbying, and I would feel awful depriving the taxman of his rightfully taken money:icon_rolleyes: Seriously, this for me is a hobby, not a means to get around paying taxes As for the lady, well the ones I have seen can attest, not only do I pay, but they get a tip and gift as well I think your running a risk trying to claim hobbying as a tax break, and it's something I wouldn't do, but that's me RG
  16. When I decided to take up hobbying, the biggest hurdle for me was the stereotype as seen on tv. When I first joined CERB, I discovered a wonderful community...yes community of men and women who have a mutual respect and affection for one another, and my daily log in, reading, sometimes replying to threads makes my day I have met in person, many wonderful and beautiful ladies through CERB, not to mention those individuals I have "met" through posts, pm's and emails Without CERB and hobbying I now think there would be a bit of a void in my life Some thoughts RG
  17. My first exposure Playboy back in the 60's and 70's But the (and I'm sure they would take offence to being catagorized as erotica) magazine I used my first time...Time Magazine, circa 1976-77...on the cover, Cheryl Tiegs...damn I wish I had saved it To this day, well there is something about her...for everyone else, Charlies Angels, me Cheryl Tiegs RG Found a link showing the March 6, 1978 (my mistake on date) Time Magazine cover http://www.time.com/time/covers/0,16641,19780306,00.html Fond memories RG
  18. Not to mention another site, won't name it, initials LL. I tried it for a short period of time, somehow couple "russian brides" got my email, contacted me. Both (looking at pictures) were beautiful First one wanted to live with me, just needed $30,000.00 sent to her so she could buy a plane ticket Second one, wanted to come over too, but her mother and her kid were coming along and would be living with us I might have been born in the morning, but not yesterday morning...LL cancelled RG

  20. Not arguing the point, but adding to the discussion. When factoring in travel, hotel, risks to possibly be encountered with the American justice system, asset forfeiture (meaning all money earned seized as proceeds of crime), why wouldn't a lady stay in Canada, where, within guidelines, it is perfectly legal. I am just looking at risk/rewards...seems too risky for the reward, wheras the risk/rewards up in Canda, greater reward vs fewer risk....not to mention the patriotic factor, us Canadian guys adore you ladies RG
  21. As a sidebar, why would any lady risk going to the United States to escort when it is illegal for the most part. And risk Law Enforcement arresting them, and getting caught up in the American justice system, when, for the most part it is legal (within strict guidelines) up in Canada. I don't see the cost/benifit to doing it, not to mention, if you make over a certain amount (I believe but don't quote me, $10,000 cash) it has to be declared at the border. Plus, if caught, the American justice system, I believe, could seize the money as proceeds of crime. Just asking a question, someone more knowledgable might have the answer RG
