  1. Well to lighten the situation a bit Meg, thought I'd post this link with some pic's of bad contractor work http://entertainment.webshots.com/album/571599279qYFSUQ?start=0 But I agree, customer service seems lacking nowadays RG
  2. Does one out of two work for you (won't say whether mental or physical:icon_biggrin:) RG
  3. Thats also why I said I'm 99.9% with you...actually I think you and I are on the same page RG
  4. I'm 99.9% with you, but, lets assume he's in an accident, bad enough that he's unconcious, rushed to surgery...cell or no cell, he can't call BTW I'm neither defending nor criticizing him, just there may be a valid reason for no show/no call If there is a valid reason, he can call later. If he has no valid reason, he likely won't call anyway, and is on the sh*t list no matter what RG
  5. Can't speak to that. I've had to cancel (change that, postpone) due to unforeseen circumstances (and believe me, it was an encounter I was really looking forward too)...but enough notification was given (via pm) I've been late, due to traffic, but lady was called and we had our encounter I've also had a lady call to say she was held up in traffic, and was late, but we had our encounter, just a little later I've also been postponed on (with ample notification given btw) And I've had a lady, when we had a time set, request a change in time (which was ok, ample notice given, and she said if I couldn't, change the time, she would cancel her other plans, and come at the requested time) But to book an appointment and not show up, no call, straight out rude and inconsiderate (unless there are exceptional circumstances ie accident) Maybe nervous, I don't know. But on the off chance he had exceptional circumstances, give him a day or two to explain, maybe there was a good reason he was a no show Some thoughts RG
  6. Closed, unless you want to be on YouTube.:bigclap: At my age, hey, I would look real good, having good, actually great taste in women8), but the lady, they would be questioning her taste in men:?:. Just kidding, what happens behind closed doors should stay behind closed doors RG
  7. And before Chuck Norris, or Steven Seagal, or UFC, Monty Python brought us a real good fight scene http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=monty+python+and+the+holy+grail%2c+fight+with+black+knight&mid=011E4E9D9AEF2FA654F3011E4E9D9AEF2FA654F3&FORM=LKVR# RG
  8. And you want to know where your tax dollars go..........???? "Ministry of Silly Walks" by Monty Python - watch more funny videos RG
  9. The only good thing about that character, after seeing him, I feel real skinny RG
  10. After that movie I had nightmares about bunny rabbits though RG
  11. Can't argue with you there. Remember, it's not how you hold the rod, it's how you wiggle the worm that counts RG
  12. Me, it's Seinfeld. Love the crime dramas, but you need a little humour in life too, Seinfeld does it for me RG
  13. I hate that scene:shock:, that's why I'm at the computer, till it's over RG
  14. Just so you now, stumbled across it, but right now on BRAVO "Monty Python's Meaning of Life" is on Time for some popcorn, sit in the recliner and enjoy RG
  15. In the same spirit of acknowledgement, there is a lady I was to see today. Never even crossed my mind to check about weather (I'm a 3 1/2 hour drive away) She pm'd last night that weather wasn't good and when I checked it was calling for snow Kingston to Ottawa (route I'd be taking) We are rescheduling, and I'm disapointed that I'm not seeing her today. But she showed concern for my safety/welfare, something I won't forget She knows who she is. A public thank you to her, I privately thanked her too. BTW WINTER SUCKS RG
  16. That probably answers why I don't get sick...I love bleu cheese, eaten on it's own, crumbled in a salad, not to mention Renee's bleu cheese salad dressing. The red wine, well I don't drink, but with the boring life I lead, I can put myself to sleep  ;)...most excitement I get is hobbying :D:rolleyes::D I have discovered, if you begin to get a scratchy sore throat (first sign your about to get a cold) get mouthwash, and gargle. Keep doing this (not just when you brush your teeth) but perhaps 10-12 times/day. The mouthwash kills the bug before it spreads. I learned all this living by the motto, don't use your sick leave unless your well enough to enjoy it RG
  17. Got this emailed to me. Thought I'd share http://justpaste.it/3ky When I was a real real real young pup (back in the 60's) I was at Verdun, France...wish I saw it when I was older to appreciate it. And I also have been to Neuschwanstein as a kid. It may look familar to many of you, it's where some of the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was filmed. And on my bucket list, a trip to the Amazon, to go peacock bass fishing RG
  18. I too am the same way, I find starting out with conversation, kissing, a massage, then daty is the way to go. And at my age (very close to 50, yikes!!!) I'm good for one shot only, it's either oral or intercourse. Afterwards, I like lying side by side in bed, kissing, cuddling and talking. Another thing I have found, since you have to respect the lady's boundries, is (at least this is what I do) kinda let her lead a little, tell you what she wants. At least on the first date. If she is somone you repeat with, then you know what lines not to cross Seems to have worked for me RG
  19. If I was closer Meg, I'd kiss it to make it better;) Seriously though, stay away from vaseline or anything other ointments Cold water/ice is what I'd use And if more than minor, go to emerg., get a doctor to look at it RG
  20. I too, have a cell phone, which is also my home phone. That isn't the issue. Blocked numbers are. The lady wants a number to show up in case she keeps getting calls but no shows. Cell phone numbers do show up Reference. Ask the lady you saw to provide a reference to the lady you want to see. She must know you by some sort of name/contact info. But no lady will vouch for you if they only know you through posts on CERB. The vouching comes after meeting you, if you ask her to give you a reference I have developed on line rapport through CERB with a couple of ladies, but even so, they still require (and got) a reference for upcoming encounters. Some people are different behind a computer screen Some ramblings past my bedtime RG
  21. As a hobbiest I can only answer for myself. If one of the ladies I have met sees me in a public place (especially if my friends, or better, ex girlfriends are around;)) I'd like them to come running up, give me a big hug and kiss, and ask "when are we going out again, you never call" OK, dream over, reality has set in. I would pass the lady as if I don't know her, and hopefully vice versa...afterwards I would pm/text/email just to let her know I saw her, and wasn't being rude by not acknowledging her You never know if she is with family/friends, and she doesn't know about you either RG
  22. Just adding a few more thoughts. First, talking about the FLU SHOT ONLY...I got it once, got sick almost immediately afterwards, sick for a week. Not conspiracy theory, just my personal experience. Never got it since then, never sick since then (not a cold, fever, flu etc) except ONCE when I visited a family member in a hospital (patients in hallways, family member in a ward) because room she was first in had another patient who was contagious with "something"...and I visited family member first time in the room with the other sick patient present. I'm not spouting conspiracy theories, not saying vaccinations are evil, just I have been flu free without the flu shot As a sidebar, I share an office, the other people in the office got the flu shot, and got the flu, me, not sick at all. RG
  23. I've said this before and will say this again. All a review is is a hobbiest's opinion on his encounter with a certain sp at a certain time When 2 or more humans interact, chemistry comes into play. Not everyone gets along with everyone. A bad time with an sp doesn't necessarily mean the sp was bad. Maybe the hobbiest was bad (poor hygiene, unreasonable expectations, crossing lines) or the lady and man just didn't click. I had one encounter with a lady, no chemistry. Should I write a bad review. No, I'm mature enough to realize it was chemistry, and why should I do something that could affect her livelihood. Likewise she is (I hope) just as mature and not writing bad things about me. Just two people who had no chemistry. Also, another sp I have seen (twice) was great! But she prefers to not be reviewed, and I have to, and will respect her wishes. No review from me about her doesn't mean she was a poor sp, actually she was one of the best. Keep in mind 2 things about reviews when they are read. First is ymmv, and second, they are subjective, not objective Some more ramblings RG
