My 2 cents for what it's worth. The money issue should be dealt with up front before anything else...that would solve the money matter And IMHO the client should have correct change. Finally, this client sounds pretty cheap, no tip??? RG

Don't feel alone, I must be a moron too then:? because I don't know how to post a pic. But how about Marg Helgenberger (CSI Las Vegas, and many years ago, China Beach) RG -
So who's NOT watching the game today?
roamingguy replied to buggernot's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Not me, not only am I not watching the hockey, I'm kinda sick of over two weeks steady of the olympics....if it's not the olympics it's commentators giving their "expert" analysis of the olympics, or if you change to watch the news, it's being broadcast from the olympics and most of the news is about the olympics. Either I try to find one of the few channels carrying something other than the olympics thats entertaining or my nose is in the computer surfing the net. RG -
Looks like I'm going to have to take a drive to Kingston for my first encounter with an sp. Read comments about some of the Kingston sp's, but nothing on Madison. Has anyone had a date, for lack of a better word, with her. Any feedback appreciated. Feel free to pm me. Right now looking for my first sp Thanks RG

Etiquette Question - Tipping
roamingguy replied to Incognito's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
Well I'll offer my two cents as a newbie. When I see my first SP I'll pay up front what the fee is. After we're done, she will get a tip, based on how good a time we had. I'm a good tipper, whether at a restaurant, getting a haircut (what little I have LOL) etc, and I see no difference here RG -
Are there any SP's in the Peterborough area. I don't see Peterborough listed on CERB which is why I'm asking My preference is for an independant. Thanks RG

Why we ask for refferences...

lol...and at this point in time my handle isn't worth much...but keep in mind I did just join Every journy begins with but a first step I actually just made the point because someone in an earlier post wouldn't provide his handle BTW isn't my post count going up now:lol: RG -

First to be clear I understand the security issues, but a client has concerns too (at least w first meeting with first sp..after repeat encounters the trust would develop) I don't want my family, friends and coworkers knowing. I'm sure many sp's out there don't want their family & friends knowing as well I have no problems providing a cell phone number (won't call from a blocked number) And I'll give my cerb handle I'll also have the outcall at my motel/hotel (not some dump) I'll also ask if there are any preferred motel/hotel Am I leaving anything out RG -

Being a newbie maybe my opinion doesn't count for much. But I can't see giving some personal info to an sp (home phone, work phone, home address etc)...for the client it could be asking for trouble. Just as there are some bad apple clients, I'm sure there are some bad apple sp's (hopefully all in the minority) That being said, when I arrange my first date with an sp it will be at an outcall at a reputable hotel/motel. And when I book I'll provide my CE handle Don't know if my opinion is wrong, and I'm certainly reading up here, trying to learn proper etiquette RG -
This is my first post after registering a few days ago. Not only am I new to Cerb, never been (yet) with an sp I do have a couple questions. Apologies if they sound dumb.:???: First, I know what ymmv stands for but exactly what does it mean. If your a late middle aged man, doesn't work out at the gym, do you get a less enthusiastic encounter than a 20 something man...or what. Just not clear how objective/subjective a term it is. Second, if dealing with an agency, how fair is it money wise for the sp. Are the sp's doing the work and someone else making all the money (thought running through my mind is some pimp making all the money, don't know if that is true or not...maybe I watch too much Law and Order:lol:). Is it better to deal with an independant. My last question, for now, if you use a cell phone solely for your phone, is that aceptable to provide the sp when setting up an appointment. I know blocked phone numbers/payphones not allowed, but is a cell phone ok Thanks for now RG
