  5. JMHO if you show up to a lady's place and she wasn't who you were expecting, a couple of options. First, if the lady didn't misrepresent herself in any way, you can either go through with the date or politely decline the date, but compensate her. She did nothing wrong, and shouldn't be penalized for what is, in reality, you changing your mind at the last minute Second, if she changes the conditions of the date at the last minute, such as a higher rate, either tell her that wasn't the agreed to rate. If she agrees with the original agreed to rate, continue on with the date. If not, I believe you are in your rights to decline the date If she changes the conditions of the date (mind you it should be a red flag if any detailed discussions beyond time and companionship have taken place) bear in mind that it always comes with...well acronyms not allowed, but you have to be the best hygienically and otherwise speaking client. To me once you step into the door, and spend time with the lady, irrespective of what happens, she gets paid. What may or may not have happened could be due to you. Although I'm not a lawyer, all that is legally I believe is the right way to phrase it, required is time and companionship. Nothing more Now third, if clearly a bait and switch, a different lady is at the door, well turn around and walk away. Personally, I view all dates with a lady I have yet to meet as the ultimate blind date. If a lady doesn't misrepresent herself, her photos (if she has them) are accurate, I don't see a reason to not go through with a date. If she doesn't show her face and you book her with the knowledge you don't know what she looks like. Then when you meet in person, it seems like a poor excuse to cancel, stating you don't like her looks. Really it is cancelling on her because of your expectations. But if she has shown true photos of herself, well it was your expectations flawed, not anything the lady did or didn't do At the end of the day, you are dealing, business aside, with a real live human being worthy of respect. If she hasn't misrepresented herself, I see no valid reason to cancel. I would also suggest that any date you book be a shorter date for a first date Anyhow, my two cents RG
  6. Really it is hard to recommend anyone for you. There are ladies I like, and would recommend. But who I connect/click with may not be the same as who you would connect/click with. Here is the Winnipeg Recommendations Forum. I would suggest you go through it and see who interests you https://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=162 Good Luck RG

  10. Well it comes across that way because you said (and I quote you) Any project is easier to create based on some template or having some starting point. - Choose let say 7 sites of established SPs. - Go through them and select 3 which you like more. They will reflect your vision in some part. - For each section compare these 3 sites and select the section you like the most. - Think how would you modify this section to make it your own, to reflect your personality. This way you will get some draft version to start working with. It comes across to me as stealing from a lady's website Why wouldn't you instead advocate a lady Googling "web designers" or tell a lady to ask ladies on Lyla who is their web designer Telling ladies "Choose let say 7 sites of established SP's" and "Go through them..." and "Think how you would modify this section to make it your own" Go through them and think how you would modify this section, that sounds like a website is being used not just for template but content too And the way you suggest a lady should do it seems very surreptitious to me. At least it sounds that way to me, and it apparently it sounds that way to others too. RG
  11. A lady's website needs to reflect who she is. And who knows the lady best, that lady. Pretty pathetic if a lady needs another lady's thoughts and words to describe her. Those that plagiarize, I have one word to describe them...THIEF Don't know about anyone else but I don't want to see a thief for a date. If she can't be trusted to not steal a website (or ad titles, or ads etc) what else would she steal Many ladies invest a lot of time and effort in creating a website reflecting their personality, letting prospective clients know who they are. Frankly as a prospective client I hate when some lady uses copy/paste to steal one lady's hard work and pass it off as her own...it's just laziness on the part of the thief, er, plagiarizer, er escort And to me, it's no different than a lady passing off another lady's photos as her own. It's all part of bait and switch, it's distasteful and shouldn't be supported in the least by anyone A rambling from a guy who has unfortunately been witness to website theft, ad theft, photo theft and even name theft (a lady's very unique alter ego name stolen) And it's not ever acceptable. And disturbing that it's advocated by anyone RG
  12. Well my experience with them was from work, using handcuffs, flex cuffs, body belts and leg irons. Enjoyment, no, but those I had in custody enjoyed wearing them even less :-) Never kept any of the restraint gear upon retirement, well except my handcuff key RG
  13. A man was blissfully driving along the highway, when he saw the Easter Bunny hopping across the middle of the road. He swerved to avoid hitting the Bunny, but unfortunately the rabbit jumped in front of his car and was hit. The basket of eggs went flying all over the place. Candy, too. The driver, being a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulled over to the side of the road, and got out to see what had become of the Bunny carrying the basket. Much to his dismay, the colorful Bunny was dead. The driver felt guilty and began to cry. A woman driving down the same highway saw the man crying on the side of the road and pulled over. She stepped out of her car and asked the man what was wrong. "I feel terrible," he explained, "I accidentally hit the Easter Bunny and killed it. What should I do?" The woman told the man not to worry. She knew exactly what to do. She went to her car trunk, and pulled out a spray can. She walked over to the limp, dead Bunny, and sprayed the entire contents of the can onto the little furry animal. Miraculously the Easter Bunny came to back life, jumped up, picked up the spilled eggs and candy, waved its paw at the two humans and hopped on down the road. 50 yards away the Easter Bunny stopped, turned around, waved and hopped on down the road another 50 yards, turned, waved, hopped another 50 yards and waved again!!!! The man was astonished. He said to the woman, "What in heaven's name is in your spray can?" The woman turned the can around so that the man could read the label. It said: "Hair spray. Restores life to dead hair. Adds permanent wave." and if not a groaner enough Three blondes died in a car crash trying to jump the Grand Canyon and are at the pearly gates of heaven. St Peter tells them that they can enter the gates only if they can answer one simple religious question. The question posed by St. Peter is "What is Easter"? The first blonde replies, "Oh, that's easy! It's the holiday in November when everyone gets together, eats turkey and are thankful..." "Wrong!, you are not welcome here, I'm afraid. You must go to the other place!" replies St. Peter. He turns to the second blonde, and asks her the same question: "What is Easter?" The second blonde replies, "Easter is the holiday in December when we put up a nice tree, exchange presents, and celebrate the birth of Jesus." St Peter looks at the second blonde, bangs his head on the on the pearly gates in disgust and tells her she's wrong and will have to join her friend in the other place. She is not welcome in Heaven. He then peers over his glasses at the third blonde and asks, "Do YOU know what Easter is"? The third blonde smiles confidently and looks St Peter in the eyes, "I know what Easter is." "Oh?" says St Peter, incredulously. "Easter is the Christian holiday that coincides with the Jewish celebration of Passover. Jesus and his disciples were eating at the last supper and Jesus was later deceived and turned over to the Romans by one of his disciples. The Romans took him to be crucified and he was stabbed in the side, made to wear a crown of thorns, and was hung on a cross with nails through his hands and feet. He was buried in a nearby cave which was sealed off by a large boulder." St Peter smiled broadly with delight. The third blonde continued... "Every year the boulder is moved aside so that Jesus can come out and, if he sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter."
  14. Still not 100 percent clear on your question but I'll hazard a guess. First are you asking why you had a better time with an independent companion versus an agency companion My take on it, it is entirely dependant on the companion and your chemistry with her and she with you Some ladies like being independent Some ladies like being with an agency Maybe the ladies you saw that were agency you didn't click with or just saw it as a job. And maybe you saw ladies you clicked with who also were independents My personal take on it, it has more to do with chemistry/connection and the lady liking her profession than it does with whether she is independent or agency A rambling RG
  15. One other thought here. Yes we are all, ladies and gentlemen alike part of the same lifestyle, opposite sides of the same coin if you will. But for the ladies, it is their livelihood For men, it is their escape The reason for writing a recommendation on a lady is to help her business, her livelihood Why would I as a client want to be rated/judged in comparison to other clients for what is supposed to be a private escape And what gets rated/judged. Isn't part of the reason for the escape to be in a judgement free zone if you will Also doesn't this open the door to a client telling a lady "give me a good public recommendation and I'll write you a good recommendation too" A rambling RG
  16. Well I'll toss out a couple answers for you ;-) 1) When you set up a date with a lady tell her you would prefer her to be in control of the session...keeping in mind in all communications, you are paying a lady for time and companionship only. Don't discuss specific activities, just that you'd like her to be in control. 2) When it comes to duos, often a lady's website has links to ladies she has as duo partners. Also, this thread, granted from last year, might help http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=162123&highlight=thread And when you have your encounter with a lady, tell her that a duo interests you (assuming the lady you are seeing is one of the duo partners, nothing than a worse faux pas than asking one lady you'd like to see two other ladies)...does she know of any lady interested 3) Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question. The biggest hurdle for meeting any lady, at least me is not stumbling and falling weak kneed when I hear the knock on the door Seriously, contact the lady using her preferred method of contact, provide all screening/verification information, and book a date with her A couple ramblings Hope they helped RG
  17. Breakfast...my turn to buy And then a trip to the cheese factory, six year old cheddar, salsa cheese, mozzarella with jalapeños and mozzarella with red chilies...oh and a bag of fresh curd Then the grocery store, nacho chips and a six pack of no alcohol beer OK a few last things I purchased today LOL RG

  20. How can someone who is a FB BBM ever judge a lady's appearance or appearance change. I'll grant you, when it comes to initial contact, a lady's photos play a part, as do her posts, website, board profile and emails But once we've met, it's her inner beauty, our chemistry/connection that plays a much bigger part in my continuing to see her And although I have yet to experience it, should something happen to change a lady's appearance, I would continue to see her...her inner beauty and our chemistry/connection have, well for lack of a better word, smitten (in a client/companion sense of the word, no not falling in love here LOL) me A rambling for what it's worth RG
  21. If this is being thought of because a client would like to know how he rates in comparison to other clients, my question is this. Who cares. The lady's other clients are likely not even known to him, or at the most, known only as a board handle and vice versa. If that is the case, that someone is concerned about other clients, kinda comes across as a tad insecure A good client wouldn't want to be part of this "recommendation" pool, because he wouldn't want to put a lady he's seen in the unenviable position of ranking her clients And a recommendation from a client about a lady is not the same as a reference from a lady about a client. Although I'll grant you, while it may appear analogous, they are not the same. And yes, it has been brought up and discussed before. But more importantly, not accepted. That in itself should be an indicator that it isn't going to be accepted now And since now clients pay a companion only for time and companionship what criteria are men rated on. Is the lady going to say he played a good game of checkers LOL. Any discussion, by lady or gentleman discussing a paid sexual encounter now (thanks to MacKay and the CPC) is verboten. We only see companions for time and companionship At the end of the day the only thing that matters (besides the lady and myself having had a wonderful escape) is that she was happy with me as a client and I was happy with her as a companion. Being put in some recommendation pool won't change that An after lunch rambling RG

  23. You've given no real examples of ladies using photo shop overkill as you put it, hence it comes across as any lady using professional photographers (who use photoshop) are misrepresenting themselves. It does a disservice to many ladies out there, and leads prospective clients (especially newbies) to think professional photos are misrepresenting the ladies If you could cite facts to back up your opinion, then the response you're getting would be different. But you've cited no facts, just posted an unsubstantiated opinion And your unsubstantiated opinion has to be offensive and disrespectful to each and every lady who invests in herself, time and money, getting professional photos done. Said as someone who has been fortunate to see many ladies who have had professional photos done, and the ladies in person, if anything are much more beautiful than the photos they use to represent themselves RG
