Once the kids have been shuffled off to camp in July I'm taking my plane on a tour of Canada and Alaska. I plan on spending a few days in every capital city of each province and in Fairbanks Alaska. I'll start by flying to the east coast, then head northwest from Newfoundland across the territories and into Alaska, down to Victoria, and then east back to Ottawa.

This is how I feel too. Not saying I don't enjoy the intercourse, because I do like it, but for me a feeling of being wanted and a feeling that I've pleased the lady are important aspects of the date. I especially like the cuddling and kissing and being teased all over.

I don't know if it works or not. I've never had the need to use any although I've often wondered just what aspect of the experience these things enhance. Longevity or, you know, lonnnnngevity :-) Posted via Mobile Device

Do you believe in life after death?
747LeftSeat replied to Capital Hunter's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
When I was younger I did believe in life after death. Didn't know if it was going to be a good life or a bad life. Now I no longer believe in life after death. Now I just believe in enjoying life at the expense of no one and while helping those around me enjoy theirs. -
Well, anyone can join this site and because there's no background check you just never know who'd be taking notice of your location. There are some very nasty people out there, unfortunately. I don't follow this logic at all. There is no way you can possibly know that you're never going to assaulted/raped/stalked. Just no way you can know that, unless you have a magic crystal ball that you're not telling us about.

Funny video here. Note: the reference in the video to Orange is to the European cell carrier named Orange.

That's what happened to me back in August. I was rushed to hospital in the middle of the night via ambulance several hours before I was due to meet a cerb lady. I had no phone with me and I was hooked up to all kinds of equipment in the emergency room. I was also under the influence of dilauded the whole time. There was no way for me to contact the lady until I was released from hospital well over a week later. I did contact her to apologize upon my return home, to no avail. :frown: I would have seen her after that if she'd have responded but I think I ended up on her bad-client list. I've seen several other ladies since then and not missed a single appointment. Additional Comments: Well I was no-showed by a lady here on cerb. I drove a long way to see her but it seems she had been taken ill and was at the hospital emergency room and was unable to contact me. I did manage to see her after that and I didn't even think of trying to charge her (or reduce my donation) to compensate for the time I lost due to her no-show ... it's a two way street in my opinion. If a lady (or anybody else in a service profession, such as a doctor) is going to charge for missed appointments then they better be prepared to ante up something should they have to cancel without agreed upon notice.

If I was in a long term relationship I may stop. It would depend on the intricacies of the relationship. -

I earned degrees in computer science and geophysics and while earning those degrees I learned to fly. Shortly after graduating university I saw flying jobs advertised with Virgin Atlantic and I applied and received a position with that airline. After 10 years I took another flying position, this one with Cathay Pacific. I was forced into retirement several years ago. I had no plans to become an airline pilot while in university but I thoroughly enjoyed the job. I still miss flying the big metal but having the freedom to fly my own airplane when I wish (and whenever weather permits) is a real perk of retirement. -

I'm not sure I agree. In my case I was attached to various pieces of medical equipment, in lots of pain, doped up on IV pain killers, and without the lady's contact information. An ambulance rushed me to hospital only 9 hours before our scheduled appointment. I'm wondering in what reasonable way I could have reached out in my situation? Should I have disconnected myself from the medical equipment and gone searching for internet access in order to send a message? -

Contacting her after getting home was the least I could do for her. I wanted her to know it was nothing personal. Even as I was writhing in pain for most of the first several hours in hospital (despite the IV dilauded and morphine) I was trying to figure out how to contact her before the appointment time. Unfortunately there was no way to do it. I understand Emma's situation is different - and unacceptable in my view. I mean, really, is it that hard to cancel when you're able to. -

I was recently a no show and I'd like to think none of the ladies would hold it against me. I had a Friday morning appointment with a lady and very early on the Friday morning (approx 1AM) I was admitted to hospital with severe abdominal pain. I did not have the contact info of the lady with me and I was unable to contact her for the 10 days of my hospital stay. Upon arriving home I did send her a PM with my apologies and my explanation. I've had a lady cancel an appointment with no warning (I'd even driven out to her neck of the woods only to find her unavailable) because she had to visit the Emergency Room. She explained this to me afterward and I was OK with it and didn't take it personally. Medical emergencies happen without warning. While I can understand the frustration of a no-show with no immediate explanation, sometimes there are legitimate reasons for no shows, and I would like to think (and I have no evidence to the contrary) the ladies here on CERB understand this. -
I'm the guilty party, I'm sorry to say. I've already sent a PM to Nicolette with my apologies. Early on the Friday morning (about 1AM on the 13th) I was admitted to hospital with severe abdominal pain and I was released just today. I had no way to contact Nicolette until my return home today. Recovery will be long ... but I will recover!
