I was riding my bike this morning, and came across a sign at a church, it has been there a while, but thought I would pass this along to my fellow Cerbites....... I wish I had taken a picture ! Anyway, it said : "Worry is interest paid on trouble before it is due" I tend to be a bit of a worrier, in fact some of my coworkers refer to me as 'grandma'......lol...... For the longest time, I admired Old Dog from the shadows, but Friday the 13th seemed to finally align the stars for us…….it was to be my lucky day…. My review, of our lovable Old Dog….. Early this morning cruising at 35,000 ft over Ottawa, my phone rang, it was Dog, he had an unexpected cancellation today, and could fit me in between 2 and 2:15……. With nary a hesitation, I turned to my green co-pilot and told him to declare an emergency, I am going to dive straight down into Ottawa airport !! I kept focused, and did a high speed landing on the taxiway…..quickly cutting across the grass to the terminal…..and just before I taxied to the gate, I jumped out of my seat, smacked the copilot on the back of the head, told him to stop crying, we are alive ,and to put the damn parking brakes on….. I quickly grabbed a six pack from the food cart, opened the door…..activated the emergency chute and slid down……landing firmly on my feet in full stride….. Looking to my right, there was Dog, just beyond the perimeter fence…sitting in his lime green 1968 Chevy Nova…engine running, I quickly hopped the fence, admiring the flames on the car……the leopard skin seat covers….and the biggest furry dice I had ever seen……all this helped dissipate my nerves…… Dog was a pro, and knew how to keep a first timer like me calm…small talk, endless jokes... till we got to his incall location…. I tried to ignore the line up at his door as we brushed past…..he snickered told me his Friday night incall and taco night special was always a great hit… The room was as I had dreamed, a large polar bear rug in the middle of the room, the disco ball spinning, a fake fireplace, all the while the strobe light was flashing…..Barry Manilow in the background…… Dog then emerged from the bathroom, wearing a pair of chaps and a large cowboy hat, exactly the outfit I had asked….…. he quietly walked over to the stereo in the corner and put his 8 track of Abba’s greatest hits in…..I was in heaven……. he opened a pack of extra large condoms, but assured me he was the consummate pro.....again, my nerves were quickly put to ease.... While what happened between Dog and I will remain between us, I do recall intense passion, non stop jokes from Dog’s mouth, the occasional bad talk, a suggestion in the middle of our session that I speak to Cato or Pistol Pete about proper etiquette…..him repeatedly asking me to smack his ass thru his chaps, and the room constantly spinning ….. while Abba blared in the background…. Would I repeat ? Hell ya ! Total damage, $250 for 15 minutes, but I must admit when you throw in the the Friday night Taco’s it was well worth the premium charge….. Run, don’t walk, Dog is a gem, and it’s only a matter of time people discover his wicked evil ways………. Dog.....you're a great sport....thanks for helping me get over my Friday the 13th SUPERSTITION........ ;-)

What ??? You DO NOT WORK A SOLID 12 hours, with back to back appointments ??? Meg, you DO NOT consider it work ???...... you will be banished for daring to imply there is any pleasure to be derived from these encounters..... I tell you, in my day, when we worked, boy oh boy, WE WORKED !! :sm185: Now that Old Dog is in the business, he will DEFINITELY work a full 12 hours, back to back.....or front to back as in his case......... :bowdown: Damn, I hate Friday the 13th, now i can go back under my cover and hide out till midnight.......

Hi Tess Correct !, my current 'ride' is a 777 Manufactured by Boeing, I have also flown the 727, 737, and 767, and ONE airbus the A330........ Glad you keep smiling, you certainly have a beautiful one !!

Born in the middle east, but as a christian (Roman Catholic ) was in the minority, and we fled before we were fed to the lions ! .... nahh, my father was forced out when Nasser began nationalizing the country in the early 60’s. 2. Although I travel a lot for work, I have made my home in the Suburbs of Toronto, never having moved more than 20 kms from my first home ! 3. I am an Aries Alpha male, thru and thru, which is why i find it odd that i have joined a community where so many beautiful women reside, yet I am ok with sharing them with other men....but who can resist Old Dog ?? Not even I ! 4. I LOVE riding my bicycle, which I do every day when I am not on the road. 5. I too rode motorcycles, my last one being a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7, which I unceremoniously dropped doing 50kph, into a ditch....no harm, a slight bruise, never rode again. ( ALWAYS WEAR YOUR LEATHERS !!) 6. I play the drums and love listening to music....but I am stuck in the 70's, Barry white, Eagles, Rush, Genesis, Pink Floyd and so on..... I want to buy a disco ball and bring it to a CERB get together one day.... ;-) 7. I love cars, and one of the most relaxing things I do is wax my collector car.....find it has a calming effect on me….. 8. Was one of the youngest Pilot’s In Command in my airline, before it was taken over by a very large carrier….but I absolutely love what I do, in spite of idiots deploying emergency chute’s !!!! 9. Lost my virginity when I was 17, to my high school sweetheart…..who I am still with to this day. 10. I am new to the hobby, and have been only with 2 SP’s, one I still see as a regular, and it just gets better and better…… I truly enjoy this hobby. 11. September 911, was one of the worst days of my life, not only because of the loss of life, but because I felt guilty for what maniacs from my home country did..…yet I am grateful to an industry that has NEVER treated me any differently inspite of that event….Yes, I was flying that day, but had landed in Edmonton moments before the incident, and was grounded for a few days…..along with the rest of the world. 12. Because of my olive colored skin, most people confuse me for being Italian or Spanish, never guessing where I am from….. 14. I am superstitious, and am afraid of the #13

Tess, First of all, you have shown nothing but class and charm, and are a wonderful lady, don't ever let anyone tell you or treat you any differently. I did see a string of posts on another 'site', that took a number of backhanded swipes at not only SP's, but a few hobbyists as well....the only thing in common was all the people insulted were members on CERB. I did want to chime into the string of posts, but in the end I figured if I had said anything, I would have been accused of a shill review of you, and would only have made the masses even more out of control. Suffice it to say, it is obvious many do not agree with the sense of community us members on CERB share with each other........so the next best thing to do if you do not understand something or belong to it, is ridicule it....this is what those folks 'over there' are trying to do.... Like Angela said, most other boards are populated by ill mannered folk, who cannot do anything but insult people, and act like a bunch of mental midget neanderthals, who are still caught in the stone ages. My take, Tess, is you cannot make things right with these people no matter what or how hard you try......not only are they cowards that hide shamelessly behind anonymity, but they are people that can never be made happy, no matter what you do.....they just want to be miserable at whatever expense and bring the rest of us down with them....NO THANKS !!! While I wholeheartedly agree about keeping CERB respectful, I do not agree that we should not reference other sites such as CL. Anytime I am looking at an ad outside of CERB, whether it be on CL, EC or whatever, the FIRST PLACE i come to is CERB, and this is where i look to see if anyone has met the lady ( if she is not on CERB ). This is not being disrespectful of CERB, in fact the contrary, it's because I RESPECT the opinion of my fellow hobbyists on CERB, this is the ONLY PLACE that I would seek an opinion on a lady that isn't advertising on CERB. In fact, referencing CERB to others, simply increases the traffic to this site, and spreads 'brand awareness' So KUDOS to Mod, who has done a phenomenal job of keeping this board respectful so we all feel like family, as well as the place to go for questions we may have for advertisers outside CERB. Folks, I have been in the airline industry for 30 or so years since my late teens, and the incident involving the flight attendant at jet blue this week, is certainly one of the more bizarre ones..... First of all, why is the media glamourizing what this guy did, and portray hims as a folk hero ???? Are we THAT desperate for Hero's ? Those of us in the industry are shocked and quite dismayed that such RECKLESS BEHAVIOUR AND UTTER DISREGARD for safety of others is being hailed as one person's VALIANT fight against corporate America..... WHAT ??? What this CLOWN did was endanger the lives of his passengers, crew AND unsuspecting ground personnel. If anyone has seen the deployment of an emergency chute, not only is it a violent reaction ( because it deploys so fast ) but anyone underneath in all likelihood would be injured OR KILLED if struck by it..... Was the FA a victim of ABUSE .... most certainly !....however, the FA's recourse would have resulted in SEVERE CRIMINAL and Civil actions against the passenger, who in all likelihood could have been charged with a felony for improper behaviour and endangering other passenger's during the flight , and THEN A CIVIL LAW SUIT for injuring the FA with the falling bag, which injured the FA..... The Law, FOR VERY good reasons, deals harshly with those causing any sort of problems on an airplane....this FA, should have done the intelligent thing, which was to report the passenger to the Captain, who would have alerted the authorities, who at the end of the flight would have boarded the plane, and escorted the unwieldy passenger IN HANDCUFFS......wouldn't that have been a sweet payback ? I totally agree about us 'older guys' being more respectful, and really understanding what this is all about ...or perhaps we have been properly broken in !!!....... Hey Tulsa ! Excellent post.. One of the things I have found, as I grow older, now that I am 29....err, 39....well whatever.....anyway, is that don't assume the person you are dealing with actually 'gets it'......he may be naive, a smart ass, or just REALLY thinks he can date you. As an SP, no doubt you get all kinds of requests, I think then the only option is to be polite, re-enforce your rates, service etc., then if the individual is persistent, just say good-bye.... Some people just DO NOT GET IT.....which is why I hear of some SP's receiving 5-10 repeat calls from an individual asking the same question, over a short span of time.....they just don't get it...... Positive re-enforcement, repetition and if that don't work....then cease communications.....

Say it ain't so ! You poor baby...... Listen, when you are ready to go, I will go with you and hold your hand....on the condition they don't accidentally poke me !!....... No worries, it's just a 'little prick' ............ ;-)

My Father, a very well educated lawyer, who immigrated his young family to Canada, and had go through law school AGAIN in Canada....... 5 full years, while he raised his young family....and he worked nights.... He was also the one who kept his young son, motivated and focused....and kept my feet firmly on the ground......to this very day.... One story that stuck with me to this day was when i had JUST landed a job as a pilot with a Canadian Airline, and I was very pleased with myself......I was thinking I was all that....lol.... Went for a drive with my dad, and had to gas up......at the gas station, when a man came up and started to pump gas ( yes, full service, lol ) I turned to my dad saying, "look at the uneducated bum filling our car, what a life" At WHICH POINT, my father near RIPPED my head off, letting me have it, telling me to NEVER, EVER look down my nose AT ANYONE.....EVER.....it's a long way down, and chances are I will fall in......always be respectful of people, because you do not know their situation.... Never forgot that comment, and shared that exact lesson with my boys when the time was right...... Simply an amazing man..............

I watched the new Genesis DVD, about their recent re-union and concert in Italy...... The band had been apart for over 15 years, and when someone asked them why were they able to get back together after so long, when they had sworn they would NEVER do such a thing........ Mike Rutherford's response was BANG ON, he said that maturity comes with age, and they were all old enough now to realize that : 1. ) PEOPLE DO NOT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE RIGHT. 2.) BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE opinions, doesn't make yours less valid or theirs MORE VALID. 3.) Sometimes, it just DOESN'T MATTER.....especially when you look at the event and how it affects your overall quality of life....... 4.) Make YOUR opinion heard, but then give the other person the benefit and opportunity to express THEIR opinion..... So,equating his comments to this thread, many opinions were expressed, and we should all take away from it what we shall, but don't think your opinion was anymore relevant than anyone else's or any less relevant..... BTW...for Genesis lovers.......get the CD, the rendition of 'The Cage' is just amazing........ My $.02 CDN which is worth a HELL OF A LOT MORE THESE DAYS !! SNK........

This is simple economics. Demand and supply..... Supply is NOT unlimited, therefore if someone is with you, fulfilling your fetish, it means she is not with someone else...charging her normal rate.... so why would you expect a lower price ? Time is time...... Personally, if I had a fetish, I would expect to pay MORE and not less.....

Move on, in the grander scheme of things, this really is insignificant....... Was the Ladies response rude ?..... it APPEARS so, but without really knowing all the facts it is difficult to judge what caused the response and why she would offend the OP, who appears to have been polite with his approach..... in any case, if that were the response I would receive, I would stop the correspondence, and not continue discussion with the lady, who at that point has lost my business.....and if that is her typical attitude, she is well on her way to driving herself OUT OF BUSINESS Then, I would decide which one of the FANTASTIC ladies on CERB, I would choose to see, which would very quickly lead me to forget the rude encounter.... Why bother finding out what was wrong ? With so many wonderful ladies available, move on without any further thought......consider she did you a favour by further narrowing your selection .........
