  1. Rinaldo, Judges scored him as follows : 0 - 10 for shots on goals, 0 - 10 for goals 10 - 10 for whining, AND 10 - 10 on the 2 dives he took...... impressive.....
  2. Germany.... In a cake walk....even though they are a very young team, I think they will hard to stop !
  3. One of the sexiest ladies of her time.... Stephanie Powers, understated sexuality, and just plain drop dead gorgeous ! SNK
  4. Just curious where the 'All the Above button is ! Tough to choose, first is Candace Rae, then second Heather Christenson.... no...make that 2nd for Jenn Korbin...... Forget it, just no way to decide, all amazing for sure.....nice choices Cato !
  5. Megan I think what you are suggesting is reasonable. Most people should know by now that your schedule is dynamic and ever changing. People should realize that availability is based on a first come first serve basis, so no on should be upset if they didn't get back to you in a timely manner and the spot was then taken by someone else...... SNK
  6. bi_AL I really don't know what to say or what to suggest or how to offer help to you.....I am writing because I was struck by your comment......... "Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining or nothing ,life is life" My hat's off to you for maintaining such a positive attitude, we can all learn from you, the next time we complain about trivial things...... SNK
  7. It's obvious that Tess is contrite and acknowledges a lapse in judgement occurred......mistakes happen, we are all human, She is asking for her 'family' to forgive her...... The reference to 'family' certainly shows her feelings for the rest of the board, and indicates the caring and passion she has for her friends here....hence the heartfelt apology.... As a new member of the 'CERB' family, I don't think it is unreasonable to forgive her, and to expedite her return to her status within 'our' family. As always my $.02 Cdn..... SNK
  8. I couldn't think of a nicer lady to post my first review on, other than Leanna. It's not often that I get to overnight in Ottawa, but as luck would have it, I had the opportunity a few weeks back to see Leanna. A few email exchanges and we were able to set the date, this whole process with Leanna was effortless and enjoyable. We continued corresponding up to the date, discussing items such as dinner arrangements, wine preferences and so on..... I met her at the hotel lobby, she was dressed impeccably and tastefully, as many have said before, she is very a very pretty woman, in excellent shape and just a joy to be with. A quick drink back in the room calmed my nerves, and we then went to dinner, where we chatted like we were long lost friends......conversation was easy, we were never lost for words and had quite a few laughs....It never felt like it was the first time meeting her... We then returned to my room, where I was at ease the entire time, Leanna genuinely enjoys what she does, is very attentive and made sure that this relative 'newbie' was always comfortable and well looked after....details will remain between her and I, but she certainly made my night unforgettable. A definite repeat, she does deliver on her promise of a full GFE encounter, and at all times I felt like I was with someone who I had been seeing for quite a while. She is very genuine and down to earth. Thanks Leanna, and as many have said, she is a gem that deserves the best treatment at all times ! SNK
  9. We use windex or similar non-streak cleaner.....and use a micro-fibre cloth to dry ........and it leaves a perfect shine 10 years, and still looks brand new and have not had to reseal....and won't have to for some time..... All i was told was not to let greasy items lay on it for too long....such as a pizza box.....dont know why, but why risk it !! SNK
  10. Hi Meg, Short answer is yes, BUT.... if there are medical personnel on board they can use the emergency medical kit (EMK).....most airlines policy will not allow cabin crew to administer the injection.... For some time now, airlines have been mandated to carry minimum amount of medical equipment, from simple first aid kits to Emergency Medical kits (EMK), Enhanced Emergency Medical Kit (EEMK) and defibrilator (AED) On my airline, ( a US Based Carrier ) we exceed minimum requirements, but our policy for the use of the EMK, EEMK are restricted to trained medical personnel only..... Best bet is to check the airlines web site and/or call them to see what their policy is........ And ALWAYS carry your own medical supplies....its your best bet..... SNK
  11. My lady friend once left behind a cork screw, lighter and a very sexy nightshirt..... I was able to keep the lighter and cork screw but after a quick text message back and forth, we decided to dispose of the night shirt....which was gladly replaced by me upon her next visit...... SNK
  12. Actually many airlines have specific policies in place when dealing with a broad range of issues, whether it be an allergy or disability. The best way to find out is to check on the particular airlines Web-page for what their policy is towards allergies etc. Calling in advance of the flight will also alert the airline to your particular need. Delta Airlines for instance will create a ?safe zone? for you if you let them know in advance. of your peanut allergy??. I believe its 3 seat rows front/back of the individual with the allergy, as well as offer peanut free snacks in that area.?..and an announcement will be made pre-flight letting passengers know of the allergy??.they will even allow YOU to pre-board and cleanse the area??? Once again, the onus is on the passenger as the airline won?t take liability (shocking concept ! ) In the end, please make sure you take your medication ( and/or Epipen) etc., and make the flight crew aware upon boarding, of your specific needs so they can react accordingly?..most will be very accommodating????? I don?t think many people realize how serious some people?s allergic reactions can be?.especially35,000 feet in the air... SNK
  13. I am currently in Toronto, and felt the couch shake....I looked at the hanging lamp and watched it sway slightly.....thought it was just me Wow.....
  14. Interesting reading if you suffer from Peanut Allergies and fly from time to time. There are quite a few articles about doing what you can to minimize your health risks while flying.... this one is aimed specifically at those with peanut allergies.... http://www.cnn.com/2010/TRAVEL/06/22/ban.peanuts.planes/index.html?hpt=Sbin
  15. Thank GOD that is all cleared up..... Now, one more question..... Who's on first ???????????????? I never got that one !.........
  16. Having been a die hard blackberry user, I am now reaching the conclusion that perhaps it's time to move onto the new IPhone. A few colleagues now have the Iphone in place of their blackberry and can now type as fast as I can on my 9700......I can type fast on my bberry, so I was worried the Iphone would be a hassle to type with.....and that was always my biggest fear....seems to be no longer the case.... Given the technology of the new Iphone, it's hard to discount it's value, and the 5Mb camera and full HD Video....well... the list just goes on and on.... In the past, if all you did was emails, then BBerry was the clear winner......not so sure anymore....I found the Iphone was easy to type with....the only real advantage of the bberry... Cant go wrong either way, the 9700 is amazing, especially the new touch pad............
  17. Hey big_Al !! I was not aware of your disability and do sincerely apologize if I inadvertently insulted you......certainly not my intention. SNK
  18. While I am not typically accident prone, recently I had a fall that caused me some pain, alot of embarassment and was funny as hell. I enjoy riding my bicycle, and was happily peddling my heart out, when I approached 3 young girls, perhaps all of 11 years old each........ I went off the path, onto the grass and as I was about to get back on the path, i hit a dip and before I knew it, my sunglasses went south, my Ipod East, bicycle west and me somewhere in the middle....all this right smack in front of the girls.... To say they laughed themselves silly, is an understatement....... I quickly gathered all my belongings and rode home...wasn't till I actually got home that I realize I had a nasty gash on my elbow, which required some medical attention and a tetanus shot......... None the wore for wear....but now ALOT wiser when getting BACK onto the bicycle path.....
  19. I am with Dog on this one.... you are the one and only Big Al, the other one, isn't...... I think ? Now I am confused......would the REAL Big Al please stand up ?
  20. Thanks for the many comments, it's heartening to see that many of us (at least our CERB family ) still place a high value on just being good ole decent people. Perhaps I overemphasized my experience, which was meant to just highlight that people should always be aware of the cause and resulting effect of a given situation, before judging someone or lashing out inappropriately....... I meant to simply ask that people always be courteous, polite and respectful of others..... especially of our ladies on CERB, who often enough do not get the courtesy of a simple thank you.... And I am sure, my friends in customs would have had a field day in dealing with him....as I am SURE he had plenty to say to them...... I wonder how painful his cavity search was ??? SNK
  21. After reading a few posts about common decency and how people don't show the smallest amount of appreciation for each other and the complete lack of respect, it made me stop and think....... Are we as a society forgetting our manners, or just simply being unreasonable. ? A recent event really caused me to shake my head in bewilderment, and reflect on how day to day as we go about our jobs, we often don't get credit or the least amount of respect for what we do for others..... Recently, flying back to Toronto, we were forced to divert in mid flight because of a NASTY line of thunderstorms across the US Midwest. I can assure you, this is no easy task in mid flight, but after a bit of adjustment, we diverted and although almost an hour late, landed safely in Toronto...... As we thanked passengers while they departed, a blustery 'texan' proceeded to berate me, rather loudly, for how late we were and how he may miss his connecting flight and how he may NEVER fly with us again..... It took all of my good manners to smile and thank him for flying with us......perhaps i should have just flown into the storm and shook the bad manners out this pompous ass......but of course that is not an option... which leads me to this..... Regardless of what we do, should we not at least expect the least amount of courtesy and understanding from each other ? Should we not give each other the benefit of the doubt ? Because we pay someone for a service, regardless of what that service is, does that grant us the right to be complete and utter fools and treat the person giving us the service grief because the service wasn't exactly what we had expected ? I would hope that we all stop and realize that for the most part, people WILL try their best to deliver as advertised.....sometimes, in spite of all good intentions, we fall short....even though of our best efforts.... There....I feel MUCH better.......forgive my rant...but I thought it appropriate in light of some recent posts ! SNK
  22. I have been seeing an SP from this board regularly now, but have not added a review, since she had been well reviewed already. We actually did speak about reviews, but she was indifferent about whether I wrote one or not, only asking that i not provide any details IF I PERSONALLY decide to add a review.... After each time I see her, i send a personal thank you note, which to me goes a long, long way to thanking her for another excellent date..... I believe a personal note or text message goes much further in showing someone your gratitude and thanks, than does posting a review. Both have their merits, yet i believe serve two completely different purposes......if all you merely wanted was a thank you.....a personal note would go a lot further than a review..... IMHO SNK
