It was a very busy evening at home with many friends, neighbour's, co-workers and clients of mine and my wife's and children coming by our home to help ring in the new year. While people came and went all evening a group of about 30 of us raised a glass of champagne at midnight to welcome 2015. It's now 2:45am in St. John's and the last of our guests have left with me driving a carload home (one of the benefits of not drinking). I thought before I signed off for the evening I would share a New Years Picture of the city of St. John's that I took from Signal Hill while i was out driving people home. I never make new years resolutions but the spirit grace and courage of theliquor has made me think that a fitting resolution for me would be to try and approach my life in the new year with the spirit he shows every day. While I am happy to see the end of 2014 for a number of reasons I am looking forward to 2015. I hope that the new year brings Peace Joy and Prosperity to everyone involved in this industry. You may need to export your contacts from office into a text file then use excel to save the file as csv file which can be imported into other mail programs including your BlackBerry account. If you are using BlackBerry Link and it is not working you can do it by going into Office on your computer and exporting your contacts to file and then send the file via email to your BlackBerry so you can import them all. That said I have Office 2011 and have not experienced any problems with syncing through the BlackBerry Link software. Sent from my Passport using Tapatalk

Just back home after a couple of hours shopping at Best Buy, Future Shop and Walmart.... I usually avoid the boxing day sales like the plague but a good friend was looking for something so I went and had a look for them. Not as bad as I thought... just 32 people ahead of me at the check out. The highlight of the day for me is the amazing time spent here at home with family doing simple things like opening presents chatting listening to music and of course over eating. Christmas Day for me has always been a bit of a day of calm... the rush and fuss is over and you just are finally here in the day with people I love. Today was even extra special because we had a very large group of family spend the day with us at our home... you might ask how many...well the turkey was 30+ pounds and by the time the day is over we will just have scraps for sandwiches. Today was also special because people who I care about but who I could not share the day with have texted, called, BBMed as well as tweeted and private messaged me today. This group has included some wonderful ladies from LYLA who unbelievably to me remembered me on what I am sure is a busy day with their loved ones... it truly is amazing the connections we make in our lives and the impacts we have on each other. This day is also special for me because throughout the whole day while surrounded by people who I care deeply about I am even more aware of who is not here with me physically but who is always in my heart and my thoughts... strange thing about grief the things that can bring us the greatest joy and happiness also tend to come with the greatest sting of pain and loss... but we move on comforted by our memories.
