The Bill has people scared and nervous and afraid because it greatly changes the risks associated with the hobby. I think it is pretty safe to state that up till now most Hobbiests knew they were engaged in illegal activities but they assumed that unless they were hiring street workers then the majority of the risk was actually the workers and that indoor work was not even on the radar of LE. Until we have operated under the new law for awhile and we get a comfort level for how the law will be enforced by LE and the courts there will continue to be fear mongering. In the interim i would just remind everyone that under the old laws the activities of this hobby were illegal and we did not see ladies outing people.... so if we could trust ladies then why not now? Just my Opinion

Friendship and CERB is actually something I have spent a considerable amount of time considering and there have been other threads asking for opinions on if a client and a CERB lady could be real friends. To be honest I have found this whole topic to be very challenging.... I have always felt that of course it is possible for a client and a lady to be both friends and maintain a business relationship. After all I maintain a balance that is similar with many of my friends (yes I know I am not intimate with them) but some friends are co-workers or people who report to me at work, some are business colleagues... in all of these cases I am able to separate the business or work aspects from the friendship elements with no major issues so why should this be any different. But I think I am starting to realize it just may be. Now don't get me wrong I still think there can be a friendship I just think it is a lot harder than I thought but you know nothing in life is easy that is worthwhile and the friendships I have developed as a result of my involvement in the industry have been very worthwhile to me. I have also come to learn that you can only offer your friendship you can't make someone be your friend and you can't impose your idea of what friendship should look like on others. All you control is your actions and how you treat the people you consider your friends some people will take advantage of the friendship you offer... some will disappoint you and treat you badly but that's no different than real life. If you open yourself up to friendship even with all its inherent risks then you open yourself up to the possibility of amazing connections with amazing people... for me it has been worth the effort I hope it has been for them as well. The 10 points listed by the OP all ring true to me. Just my Opinion

I really don't think this is a texting issue... it's more a matter of good manners. I appreciate and try to respect the methods of contact that a lady may identify as her preferred method in her ad or on her website but when texting is an option it would be my preferred method. It allows me to converse discreetly with a lady even when my wife is around. So I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with text... in fact i think that the people who are assholes via text will be the same when communicating in other ways too. Just my Opinion

BP... CL... etc. etc.... all present their challenges. In the world we live in it possible for anyone with a computer or smartphone to place credible looking ads... some will be legit and some will be bait and switch and some will just be some idiot on a lark. So what can we do.... well what we have always done, be smart, do some research check out websites, uses resources to verify pictures seek info from others on sites like LYLA... bottom line do your homework. Before the new law we relied on the same tools the difference was the risk was significantly less... if someone gambled the risk was a few hundred dollars and your time wasted on a bait and switch because LE really did not bother ladies working indoors. Now we have Harper intrusion into our private lives to worry about. So the risk has gone up the reward is still just as good... people will reevaluate, they will be more careful and this will mean less bookings for the perceived as higher risk who are on BP and the other sites.. this will make life much harder for new individuals entering the business. Just my Opinion

I have had a bit of a shopping week so I have purchased a number of things... one item is a toaster oven... i know not that exciting but with winter fast approaching it will be nice to be able to grill a couple of nice tenderloin steaks and enjoy a great meal even when the weather is not suitable to BBQ.

Heading to the hockey game in about an hour so dinner will be at the restaurant at the Rink... my IceCaps beat the Toronto Marlies last night let's hope for a repeat tonight.

Christmas gifts for a good friend.

There are many ..'s who are open to later bookings but just maybe not last minute late night bookings. Some I would think shy away from the late bar closing clients because they are often not sober and make for more challenging sessions. Just my Opinion

I have no idea where this site is hosted but I agree in principle to your suggestion that access to the data on the site would be more difficult for Law Enforcement if the site was hosted on servers outside of Canada. That said however I would have to add that I consider my "safety" on this site or any site to be totally within my own control if I take care to respect the laws and not communicate about the purchase of sex then I should not be at any risk. This does not mean I cannot continue to speak openly on this site or others about all the legal and fun times I have had with ladies who are in the business of selling companionship time to clients. I am surprised to continue to hear about the idea of people selling sex...I was under the impression that our government had recently passed a law that made that practice illegal so of course it must have stopped... you know like the way Putin in Russia and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran eliminated homosexuality by making it illegal. Yep... I am so proud of our leader Stephen Harper for aligning himself with such stalwart defenders of human rights... makes me proud to be a Canadian. Now if you will excuse me for a minute i need to go vomit in disgust. Just my Opinion

I certainly agree with you I don't expect that LE will be going to that extreme but the rub lies in your last comment about complaints... i don't think that LE will have any interest in allocating resources to things like CERB unless the militant right wing decides that this is the cause they want to push and start joining these boards and causing shit by making complaints when someone inadvertently crosses a line. I totally understand why the MOD and others who are running this board would want to try and protect themselves at least until they have a good understanding of where this is going. Those people who are in favor of change will tout all its many benefits and those against it will speak of doom and gloom the truth inevitably will come down somewhere in between the challenge for the MOD and us is to figure out exactly where that middle ground is so we can all mitigate our risks. A year from now this will all seem just a stupid but will be way easier to navigate. Just my Opinion
