Interesting Thread.... not sure I see it as clearly defined as the three options presented. I kinda think my ideal would be an ongoing connection with a lady who spans all three identified options and has the personal depth of character to go beyond these three stereotypes. If I am required to pick just one lady I want a lady who challenges me intellectually as much as she excites me sexually..... someone who will during our time together make me feel like the Centre of the universe but who is strong enough in her own personal awareness that she is not creating a fantasy world but instead allowing me for a few hours to share in her world and for her to be part of mine. I have said this many times that it is the connection I have with the lady that is without a doubt the single most desirable thing for me... but in my opinion the connection needs to be real for both people for the relationship to be ongoing and long lasting. Now before anyone jumps on the words real and relationship I should clarify that I am using those terms in the context of a SP / Client environment.... I'm not looking for a GF or a wife... I'm happily married but in an ongoing regular SP /Client relationship I am looking "real".... real chemistry.... real common interests.... real conversation.... real mutual enjoyment... if it's not real then it's time to move on. I guess I have been extremely lucky in this industry as I have met ladies who I feel I have had those "real" connections with and it has been amazing and our meeting have spanned all three of the options suggested by the OP. I have also met ladies who have been a pleasure to meet who have met a more short term need for sex or exploration lolol... It's all pretty amazing when you think about it... I'm kinda glad it does not fit into a simple model... the world and each of us are complex... how could a business relationship premised on something as intimate as this be simple.? Just my opinion

Just to be clear.... I never said your post was inappropriate or against a CERB rule or said that you had said it was "funny" I read your "news story" and expressed my opinion that it was not relevant to CERB and was not Funny....I believe it's ok for individuals to have different opinions. Just my opinion

I'm not sure how a story about the untimely death of a young man from a sudden cardiac event is relevant to CERB. The individual was not involved in the sex industry and the fact that he passed away while donating sperm for the 4th time in 10 days is neither funny or relevant. If jerking off 4 times in 10 days can cause a heart attack we would all be dead. Unexplained sudden cardiac death in young adults is rising and us normally associated with either a pre-existing heart condition or an unknown Genetic Heart issue that causes the young persons heart to stop. The fact that this happened while making a sperm donation does not make it sex related or funny. Just my opinion

As a client I guess I want the best of both worlds I want a discrete private location with parking that will ensure I am not seen by family or friends...but I want that private discrete location to be public enough to afford me the safety and security I want especially if I'm meeting someone new. Lolol... yea I know we want everything. So a Upscale Condo or apartment building in a good part of town with parking that has security features like buzz to enter and/or cameras would be fine for me. I don't see a building with a doorman as a real good option both because it would make some clients nervous and would draw attention to the SP. Just my opinion.

With Bill C36 looming over all our heads the need for clients to be extra vigilant in their screening process is going to increase. Similar to yourself I have a career and interests outside if this hobby and as a result I have always needed to be very careful about who I provided my personal information too. Given these two items mentioned above I see the likelihood of my sharing my personal information in the future with an SP I have never met or who I cannot verify as legitimate from my knowledge of the community or confirmation from other SP's who I have met and developed a level of trust to be increasingly remote. Just my opinion.

If a ladies ad refers to website I always take a few minutes to review the site. That said if I have never met the lady before I will usually engage the lady in a short conversation as for me personally this initial contact tells me a lot about the lady. I will normally try not to recover ground that the lady has spent considerable time covering on her site but I am pretty sure I have... there is only so many things to say. I appreciate that for me it is just a simple question or two but for you it is hundreds of the same questions from many men. So i will keep that more in mind. I've never met Terri-Lynn Bedford and if she had spoken to me before her appearance at the Senate hearing I would have told her to speak from her heart and tell her story... to put a true face on the sex industry which is about so much more than Victims. I would have told her to tell her story if the fight she took on to improve the lives of Sex workers and to make their employment conditions safer. I would not have recommended that she threaten to out clients but you know... i have not walked the road that she has... i have not experienced the continued unsafe work conditions that have been imposed on her.... i have not had the government publicly portray me as a victim, as someone who needs to be saved.... i have not been the public face if an epic David and Golith fight that was won on the merits of my arguments only to have someone use their power to unfairly wipe out those hard fought gains. So you know... i understand why she reacted as she did... she has earned the right to speak out to express her anger and frustration. I tip my hat to the lady and simply say Thank You.

Hmmmm so to recap.... women have a period each month and if you have sex with them there is the possibility that it might impact you..... wow... i never would have guessed. OK I am making light of the topic but i am willing to bet every regular hobbiest has gas sex with a SP who was on their period... relax.... this is part of life. In regards to the health concerns.... hey if you want to perform DATY with out any protection then you should be willing to accept the risk. There have been several mentions of one week a month...and that perhaps SP'S should not work... well what about those ladies who experience longer periods or who have irregular periods.... to expect ladies to not work us unrealistic. Finally... i wonder if periods were something men had would we be having this duscussion...hmmmm Just my opinion.

Wow...talk about taking a minor item and making a big issue out of it.... Yes I posted two recommendations for the same lady one in the NL section and one in the Ottawa section.... from my perspective I see nothing wrong with that but perhaps as some have said I should only post the recommendation in the city I saw the lady and that to do otherwise is against the rules if that is the case then I apologize and would encourage the Mod to remove the offending post with all due haste before the sensibilities of any other members are further disrupted. A few days ago I decided to step back from being as active here on CERB I posted a message to this effect an cleaned out my profile and made it private however I did not say I would never post again I just explained I was going to be less active so when I had my meeting with the lady in question which were booked many weeks in advance I thought nothing of returning to CERB to make the post. I decided to post the recommendation in both the NL and Ottawa areas because the lady in question does not normally tour and to my knowledge was not expected to return to NL. As I have said this may have been wrong but I honestly fail to see why it has attracted all this attention. To make matters worse I did not attach my Ottawa recommendation to an existing thread for the lady so when this was brought to my attention I sent a PM to the Mod asking that it be moved and noted this in the recommendation thread. (I guess if I was a shill bringing my post directly to the attention of the Mod would be a pretty stupid thing to do) Then to my horror it was brought to my attention that I had inadvertently indicated in the Ottawa thread that the lady provided services which she does not. I can only assume my clumsy fingers hit that item in the list in error. Once I was aware of this mistake I corrected it and posted a public apology to the lady for my error. (This by the way was the serious issue about this thread and the one thing I feel truly sorry about). So as you can see the last couple of days have not been my finest and if there are members here who have nothing better to do than beat a dead horse then feel free to beat away. But might i suggest that an equally beneficial way in the future might be to speak directly to the original poster if you have a question or a concern rather than rant away..... but than again maybe that ranting is for your own personal agenda hidden in the disguise of a discussion of CERB rules. Finally Thank You to the one friend who brought this ongoing issue to my attention. Just My Opinion

While I have been a CERB member since August of 2010 I have only really been active in the last twelve months and during that time I have had the distinct pleasure of meeting a number of amazing ladies in person and connected to many more people here in the community. Of all the boards I have used over the years this one is certainly the best and most welcoming... however life goes on and my main reason for becoming active here has changed so i would expect that you will not be seeing very much of me here in the future. All the best to everyone and be good to each other.
