New Proposed Law on Prostitution
Ice4fun replied to letsplay_57's topic in Escort Discussion for New Brunswick
I think you need to be careful in assuming that because you were not inundated with contacts that people are not doing what they can. From a personal perspective I don't know you so I'm not sure I have a lot to share with you. That said I have operated within my sphere of influence and comfort to initiate discussions about sex work and the new legislation. Just my opinion -
Unintended consequences: strip clubs?
Ice4fun replied to whiteman's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Stripclubs & Dancers
That is a really terrible comparison.... I agree that the government should stay the hell out of the bedrooms and sex lives of adult Canadians but comparing a loving committed relationship with a sexual business arrangements is not relevant to the discussion in my opinion. Just my opinion -
Happy Birthday... i hope you had an amazing day.

I couldn't agree more.... well said.

Unfortunately we seem to think if loneliness as some kind of dreaded illness.... everyone can be lonely from time to time.... it not a lack of friends or people who care about you... you can be lonely even if you are in a great committed relationship with someone you love.... loneliness is for most of us a temporary state if bring where for that time we are craving a connection with others... that might be a sexual connection or an emotional connection. Let's not paint everyone who says they are lonely as damaged..... we all get lonely. Just my opinion

SP to accompany at a Strip club
Ice4fun replied to JohnSmith69's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
Like the idea of bringing a lady to a strip club for a few drinks and dances before we play but gave never done it. I have been in clubs where ladies who arrived with customers have tipped stage dancers by lying on stage with money in mouth and have enjoyed that show. But to be honest.... either than bring a lady to the strip club I would rather take one home.... something I have done a few times. -
There are some ladies that I see regularly who for me it is undoubtedly about more than the sex... it's about the relationship do it would have to help with loneliness... but that said there are a number of times I see an SP because I see their ad.. they are sexy and I just go for the sex.

Retail Shopping is Toast
Ice4fun replied to cinelli's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
While I generally agree that the level if service we receive in retail establishments has declined it's a but if a chicken and egg thing to me. Retailers that provide higher levels if service have greater costs to support those services but generally we are not willing to pay more for the service... we lament the loss of service but jump at the reduced cost of discount retailers. Just my opinion -
Often in life we confuse the things that are happening to us and around us with what is really important... we seek out distractions because life is hard and I know from personal experience that there is really nothing in life that is harder than being a parent.... however no matter how Hard being a dad is there is also nothing in life life that you can do that is more important. Biology allows pretty much anyone to become a father and perhaps that is one of nature's biggest flaws .... genetics, for better or worse, passes along the building blocks of life to another human. The X and Y chromosomes that we as parents contribute provide the DNA that will determine all the biological factors of this new person ... simple things like eye and hair color and more significant things like inherited genetic predispositions for medical condition. Right from the moment of conception the DNA that we contribute is silently determining if we have been a good father. Once the child is born pretty much every decision we make.... will have an impact on the life of our children... biology may enable us to be a parent but it cannot prepare you to be a father.... conception and birth cast you into the role that ready or not means you become responsible for someone else's life and all too often we learn that role on the fly.... there is no Beta test... no dry run...if we fuck up, and we all to often do, we do it real time in someone else's life. The role is all to often to much for many of us, especially men, who way to often make decisions that limit or remove themselves from the lives of their children... decision that are made in the moment but that have long term impacts both for the child who grows up with an absent dad and for the dad who may not realize the loss that will be in their life until they are much older and they regret the choices they have made. I know I'm painting a pretty gloomy picture.... who in their right mind would sign up for this grief.... well I would.... Being a dad has brought me the greatest joy in my life and also the most pain....but it has been the most significant thing I have ever and will ever do. I'm 54 now with close to 30 years of experience as a dad....I look back every day at my failing as a dad... at the things I have fucked up and at the impacts I have had on my children and I am amazed that my children are as amazing as they are in spite of me being their father... in many ways I know they have deserved better and I wish with all my heart I could have been... that I could have been better at protecting them and loving them. But alas they have been stuck with me. So on Father's Day rather than be thanked by my children I want to tell them how lucky I feel to be their Dad and to tell them that I know I have not always been there when they needed me the most but that....I love them more than life and will continue to be the best dad I can for them because they are Amazing and I can't believe how lucky I am to be their Dad.

The Last Two Days have sucked big time and tomorrow is going to be a fucking disaster.... not sure what the fuck I am doing any more.

Beautiful... thank you for sharing. Both my parents gave pasted away and for a number of reasons I find Father's day a very difficult day... if I could I would skip right over it so I appreciated your comments about your dad because it made me think about my dad in a positive way.... my father was a wonderful man... kind and giving sometimes to a fault. He loved his children prepared us well for the world and kept us safe.... we knew we were loved and safe. As I reflect back in my role as a father and compare my accomplishments with my father's I know I am not half the father he was and perhaps that's why I don't like father's day. Just my thoughts

Would work for me... i don't gave a problem with receiving emails or texts from ladies I have met and we have agreed to do so. Frankly anything that would let me know the availability of ladies I like to see would be wonderful.

File a claim in Small claims court... often large companies will settle small claims as the cost for them to defend us usually more.... i certainly would not let it slip.

Sorry to hear that.... death is never easy.... i will keep you in my thoughts

Life just sometimes sucks it can move you from feeling great joy to wondering if anyone really gives a fuck in an instant.
