Just got home... sitting down to watch the Juno's

Although I am from NL I have only just seen this show for the 1st time in the last week or so and think it is ok. For anyone who has never been to newfoundland the scenic shots will give you a good picture of what our rural coastline is like. I had heard some push back on the crude language and accents but to be honest what did people expect. The fishing industry us a male dominated industry and it should be no surprise that a bunch of guys at sea might use some rough language. As for the accents.... really do people from NL have Accents. In my opinion the show is well done for what it is.

Having a slow relaxing Sunday afternoon... watching TV... surfing CERB... playing games on my phone and waiting for Supper.

I have good news for everyone..... finally we can relax... as you know NL is a half-hour ahead of the rest of Canada so in the event of a Zombie Invasion we will be able to provide you with at least a half hour to prepare your defenses. There is no need to thank us now.... it is really the least I can do :) lol

Wow...really interesting topic thanks for posting it. I used to think I was pretty open minded... always said... to each their own but more recently I think I have come to see that perhaps I was not as open minded as I thought... i still think to each their own but the reality of that is more that I have tended to really only be around people who were very similar to me... lol it easy to be open minded to people you agree with. Since becoming involved in this hobby I have met a number of people who have shown me what it is like to truly be open minded they are people who approach life with a willingness to accept anyone who accepts them. They are less likely to judge someone because of how they look or talk or because they have a different sexual orientation.... i have to tell you it was unexpected but very refreshing. As a result of my interaction with these individual I find my self interested in learning more about things I previously thought were in the margins and am willing to try things that I never would have before. Now that said... i would suggest that while I am way more open than I was... i think I am still probably a product of my upbringing....so lots of room yet to grow. Just my opinion

Heading out with my wife in a few minutes to try a new restaurant.... before today I had never even heard of it so I have no idea what to expect.

As a married hobbist I have no interest in being caught but I want to keep contact information on the wonderful ladies I meet. As a result I am always looking for options to hide my text and provide me with a private contact list. While I have not yet found one app that meets all my needs I have found a couple that has assured me the discretion I am looking for. As noted in my 1st post in this thread I use a BlackBerry Z30 phone. SMS Blocking / Hiding The current app I am using which is working great is called SMS Blocker Pro this app allows you to block all SMS, specific SMS or SMS from numbers not in your contact list. I have set mine to block all incoming SMS except specific contacts I have placed on the allowed list. This mean everyone except family and friends goes directly into the hidden listing within the app and do not show up in the normal SMS listing. So if my wife looks at the texts on my phone she sees any from family and friends but none from my SP friends. The SMS blocker pro app is password protected so she can't access and if she were to ask I would say downloaded to screen out spam text. Private Contacts To address my need to retain contact info for my SP friends I am using an App called Max Contact Manager this App does two main things for me Creates and maintains a copy of my regular phone contact on the SD card in the phone. This means if my phone crashes i have a complete backup of my contact list. On its own this is a great option and it also provides a great cover as to why you have the app at all. Secondly the App allows you to save "sensitive or private" contacts to your regular phone contact list and then export them to the Apps private contact list which is accessible only through the app with a password. The real beauty of this app is you can move the contact back and forth between your regular and private lists and it retains all of the info including things like birthdays, notes, social media info, webpages and pictures etc. So all of the information is safely saved and easily accessible with greatly reduced risk. The combination of the 2 Apps is the best solution I have found todate..... it would be great to have one app that did it all but this works Just my opinion.

Sitting in my office trying to work ( I know .. I know how can it be work if I am posting to CERB) as I do I am randomly playing all of the songs on my BlackBerry Z30........ let's just say it's an eclectic mix... lol. at this very moment it is "Adele Rolling in the Deep which was preceeded by Bryan Adam...Summer of 69. Communicating with an SP is in its basic form a pretty simple thing.... one would think it would be pretty hard to fool up. In most of the cases you have an interested client trying to connect an interested service provider.... seems like a match made in heaven... what could possibly go wrong... lololol. Well in my experience it more closely resembles a mind field overgrown with beautiful flowers.... in our eagerness to run and pick the flowers clients tend to run right in without stopping to read the signs or get a map. Making it worse... us guys are pretty self centered so we don't stop to think that maybe just maybe we are not the only guy trying to contact the wonderful lady.... what do you mean she has a life outside of her profession.... you mean she is not just sitting by the phone waiting for my call... lolol... yea no doubt about it... we could do a better job of respecting the needs of the wonderful ladies that we want to meet. We need to remember to stop and think before we send that second text.... we need to relax and not get mad because she did not reply... lol... in most cases it just means she is not available... it's not a personal statement... she's not being mean or blowing you off. Remember she is running a business why the fuck would she want to piss off a client :). This should go without saying guys but I will say it anyway.... when we are drinking we don't always make the best decisions or communicate effectively. General rules for us clients: - Send a message if you don't get a reply don't take it personal just move along. -Read the ladies ad and website to see how she likes to be contacted and what her availability is. Follow the instructions... it is your map through the mind field. - Read her posts and website for clues about her personal interests related to ongoing contact with clients... some like it and encourage it others have no interest. -Don't be a asshole....be polite... and just to be clear I can tell you with 100% certainty that sending her a picture of your cock will not enhance the communication process. - Keep your expectations realistic... for the ladies this is their business and you are one of their many clients. Yes most of them are passionate about and enjoy what they do... yes they enjoy the company of the men they meet and connections they make... they will make you feel like you are the Centre of their world for the time you are with them but THIS IS THEIR JOB not their whole life. Now all that said.... for the wonderful SP's: - Remember we are just mere men lol... we love your attention and are infatuated by your sexy beauty.... you impact our judgment and cause us to do things that we should know better to have done.... not making an excuse here just stating a fact. - Help us by being as clear as possible about what your expectations are around ongoing contact...Yes we should know enough to not expect you to be at our beck and call.. but every SP is unique and the more you make it clear what your expectations are the better we will be in walking that mind field. Not doing to much actually... just got home from a family event that was fun... been chatting with a friend... surfing CERB.. and watching TV.

I am a happily married hobbiest ... i love my wife and would do anything for her. We have so very many things that bring us together and make us both happy but you know I a Not sure I still believe like I use to that one person can meet all of our needs....perhaps seeing others provide a venue for me to meet needs for intimacy or connection in a way that is not possible with my wife. The only Wine I have tasted in the last year was a wonderful red wine called "Alter Ego" it was very good I think it was a 2006 vintage. I certainly would recommend it.
