As you may have guessed from some of my previous posts I am not a fan of our current Prime Minister. I consider myself to be a fiscal conservative so in a number of ways I should have a fair amount of common ground with the PM but to be honest I find my self repulsed by the fact that he is the leader of My Country. It comes down to the fact that, to me, the Prime Minister is just not that nice a person...he is petty and vindictive in the way he operates and goes out if his way to cause difficulty for those who he feels have opposed him politically. I can respect the fact that people will have different political views on what is best for this country but what I cannot accept is the lack of respect that the Harper Government shows to people who disagree with them. He talk of integrity in government yet he associates and promotes people with little or no integrity (Duffy, Wallin, Chief of Staff and Senate leaders who worked with the PM to cover it all up). Yesterday's treatment of our country's veterans is just another example of how this government treats those who they disagree with but good for the veterans they are standing their ground and showing the PM and the Minister of Veterans Affairs as the scum bags they really are. Mr Harper you could learn a lot about Service to your country, about leadership and about integrity from our Canadian Veterans. Just my opinion.

In general I am not a big on sharing personal information about myself with strangers so like you I tend to dislike being quizzed by people providing a service to me. So maybe SP'S are not that different. Now having said that there seems to be one exception to my unwillingness to share with people I have just met...lol... get me naked with a beautiful SP and I will share way more than I probably should. There is something about being naked that breaks down my barriers....lololol Just my opinion.

If, and I think it's a big If, the government does not pass new legislation to keep this from happening I could certainly see Strip Clubs expanding their business model to include this new revenue stream. As with all changes of this type some clubs would be better at the transition while others would fuck it up. In either case I think it would result in the marginalization of dancers who did not offer more services which would be unfortunate. While I can certainly see that this corporate approach would evolve it would be my hope that many SP's would continue with their own businesses or group together for their mutual benefit....share costs.... improved security...have medical coverage... pension plans....all the other benefits that other successful businesses take advantage of. Just my opinion.

Jabba... enjoyed reading your post and kinda accept that for lots of people maybe even the majority what you suggest may be their reality. That said that reality may not be the reality for everyone. We all come into this business for our own reasons and to meet our own needs so who knows what the possibilities can be when two people connect and what they want and need coincide... lol Yea I need the sex and intimacy but I am multidimensional so I accept that other needs that I have might also get met. If this guy was booking an appointment with a SP who he thought was 16 he should go to Jail. This is exactly the type of activity that I want the Police and the Government to enforce laws about.... not new laws to restrict the sexual activity of consenting adults. Just my opinion.

Heard some negative comments on the Radio today suggesting that it was terrible that a large company like Bell was trying to capitalize on this Mental Health initiative by attaching their name to the event i.e. "Bell Let's Talk"... for me I think the opposite... it is great that Bell is lending their name, corporate presence and financial support to an initiative that is encouraging all of us to bring mental health issues out of the dark so that the stereotypes and stigma can be eliminated. I don't think any of us would have to look too far to find people we know and love who have been impacted by mental health issues yet the stigma associated with this medical condition often means we do not seek the treatment and help that is necessary. We don't think twice about seeing doctors in thus country for physical conditions but somehow for mental health issues we think we can cure ourselves. I think the"Lets Talk" initiative is a great issue and I encourage us all to open our minds to learning more about this issue.... LET'S TALK AND LET'S MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Just my opinion.

I think Nat's comparison hits the nail right on the head.... while I can accept that the intention of this action by the police may be well intentioned it is ill conceived and poorly executed. They would not take this approach with any other legal business operations.

It is encouraging to see police taking a positive approach to this industry... i just hope that Mr. Harper does the same and only legislates things that are for the safety and protection of sex workers and does not try to apply his right wing moral agenda to us.

Ok.... just so I understand this thread.... the question is....how much notice should you give an SP when you want to book an appointment with her. Hmmm interesting I always assumed the best approach was to schedule your next appointment before you leave your current appointment. lol Just kidding... in my experience a day or couple of days notice will normally meet most people's need. .. keep in mind you may often be disappointed if you leave booking till the last minute. Just my opinion.
