I have met with a few ladies who have changed their name some complete changes and some subtle changes... some to better reflect the image they wish to present in their business and some to make a break with a past that has or is causing them difficulties either of their own making or more likely if they are well established reputable ladies to get away from individuals who are stalking or bullying them. Unfortunately in this industry like the rest of society you get to meet all kinds of people and I think ladies in this industry often are subject to abuse by individuals who accept the stereotypes that have been painted of sex workers and assume they don't have to respect them like they most likely would other independent business people who were providing them with a service. People forget that sex workers have a life outside of their work environment and that they unfortunately often have to go to extraordinary length to protect both their own privacy and that of others who might be in their life. This will sometimes include restarting their business under a new name with a new website and new pictures often at considerable cost and impact on their business to say nothing of the effect on their personal feelings of safety and security. As I have traveled my road in this lifestyle I have appreciated all the wonderful ladies I have met and have come to learn that at least for me, it is better to not assume but instead do your research and rely on input from people you can trust... if a lady changed her name but has a good reputation then the name should really not be an issue if it was a change driven by the lady herself she will most likely have discussed it and it will not be a secret...ie some ladies even include the tag line in their ads..formerly?????. If the lady has not explained it and you have put it together based on pictures or rumors then perhaps.. just perhaps giving the lady the benefit of the doubt and not making things any worse for her might just be the right thing to do. In addition to what I previously said I would simply add that I kinda like simple names that are easy to remember but frankly ladies are pretty good at coming up with names that match up with the image they wish to project. Just my Opinion

Unfortunately trying to figure out what men think is kinda like figuring out women think...each person is unique.. I am sure some guys see the facial as a control or dominance thing... some my even agree that it is giving a woman a piece of himself and some like myself might just enjoy looking into the eyes of a lady as he orgasms and seeing how much she is also enjoying making him feel so good. Like many sexual activities the decision on how respectful it is comes down to the actual individuals involved... I personally don't try to project my personal choices on others so if my partner does not wish to partake in any particular activity for whatever reason I just accept that as her right to choose just like it is my right to choose. If both find giving and receiving F*acials as acceptable and exciting then there is certainly nothing disrespectful about it in my opinion.

I don't think any formal etiquette exists but in my experience the reputable ladies generally seem willing to look out for each other and are helpful to each other on here... that's not to say there is never any drama because if you participate here long enough you will certainly see drama but that said this is probably the most drama free site.

Point taken but as Meaghan has said if the retail rate for snow clearing is $25 or $50 for a drive way... or even $100 per drive way then it would be reasonable to assume that snow clearing would be done till it reached the hourly rate the lady regularly charged.

Having the group I was working with today make a large food donation to a local charity here in St. John's... we grumble about all the bad things we see but there is a lot of pure good out there too.

A surprising number of ladies on BP have never heard of LYLA... they are new to the industry and frankly BP works for them. Whenever I meet a lady I will ask if they are on LYLA and often take a minute to show them the site... some of those ladies do in fact follow through and join but many don't. We often say on here that women have the right to run their business as they see fit I guess if we mean that then it includes using BP if they want too. For it to be a win win in my opinion it would be for both parties to be putting up something of equivalent value... it's a non cash transaction but hopefully both parties are putting up something that would carry the same value if the service or good was being sold... the cost of the service to the provider is irrelevant it's the retail value that matters... the guy who actually provides snowclearing does not value the service based on its cost to provide but instead by its value at the retail level so $300 worth of snow clearing at the retail level would be worth $300 worth of a ladies time at the retail rate. Just my Opinion

Just heading home from work after a very busy and long day.... thankfully it ended on a really great note when the people I was meeting with today agreed to make a large donation of food to our local food bank.... makes even the long day worthwhile.

I am not surprised that Barbie is getting a make over to reflect the times.. as for the original doll being based on a call girl that was not something I knew. I girls all played with Barbies and thoroughly enjoyed the experience the dolls allowed them to use their imagination in play as they acted out real life themes through the stories they created with the dolls. I entirely agree that the body shape of the dolls was entirely unrealistic but I am not sure that had much of an impact on my girls but accept it might have on other. My daughters also played with poly pockets and my little pony and cabbage patch kids and they were not that realistic either. When I look at my girls and see how amazingly focused, smart, caring and engaged they are in the world as young adults I don't think the Barbies did much harm... for me it's as more about the overall messaging they get from the people around them parents teachers etc then the specific toy they play with. I am sure that with the right two individuals this could work extremely well but It's not something I have or would try...I kinda think in this business the simplicity of x dollars per hour for her time works best in the long run. Now I might have that opinion because my employment does not really offer much opportunity for a barter lolol and I want to justify the money I spend lol.

I kind of think this is one of those questions that is impossible to answer with a yes or a no... Of course technology is good it allows us to save lives (think ICD implanted Cardioverter Defibrillator or all the other amazing medical technology) and improve the quality of our lives but with all good things there is also the possibility of bad. Nuclear Technology can be used to power our city's and but it can also be used to make bombs that kill it's not the science or the technology that is the problem it is the choices we make in how to use that technology.... and frankly that comes down to human nature and contrary to all the daily indications about why I should not I still have a lot of faith in Human Nature... we may not always act as quickly as we should we do seem to ultimately steer ourselves away from destruction..lol or at least we are delaying it. In any case what really is the other option... are we gonna outlaw creative thinking and the invention of new ways of doing things... conclude that the way we do things now is the best and never look for improvements..of course not...it's not possible to stop the power of the human imagination so yes the world will continue to evolve and yep there will be risks. On a lighter note I could just say of course technology is a good thing and provide you with some amazing examples: The cordless Magic Wand - we all remember the dark ages when the cord on the magic wand restricted our activities in bed.. it only reached so far and you could not get that perfect angle unless you stopped and moved... now technology has saved us from that with cordless freedom.
