  3. Waiting for a family member to come home from a difficult meeting....
  4. Have a feeling we will be dining out tonight... been one of those days lol
  5. You are entitled to your opinion but that does not make it a fact... I accept that you see nothing of value in the bible and are not a religious person ... I am happy for you that you have found a belief system that supports you but I am sorry that you don't seem willing to accept that others have the right to their own beliefs. Every Muslim is not a terrorist or a bad person... just like every Christian is not a right wing fundamentalist who tries to apply his morality on others.... I would speak up against a Christian who came on here attacking atheists calling them fools and insisting they all were caricatures of the worst possible examples of some Atheist... Stalin was an Atheist yet I accept that not every Atheist would commit the atrocities he did. Perhaps I should adopt your approach and assume that every atheist lacks tolerance and respect for others based on your comments about Christians who just happen to believe in something different than you. Over the thousands of years terrible things have been done in the name of religion including christianity but as you suggest if you want to swing that end of the stick at least be honest enough to acknowledge the other end of that stick the many positive things have also been done ... we can argue here, as some have done, about if the bad out weighs the good but to paint all religious people as evil because of the perversion of religion by some men over the centuries is in my opinion just distasteful and not necessary. Just my opinion
  6. Talk about a lack of tolerance for others...
  7. The Roman Catholic Church is a Christian Denomination Like the others...but certainly does not represent all Christians... while I don't consider myself to be very "religious" and I am not sure I believe in a creators existence I was raised in a Christian family that attended a church that has male and female leaders, that allows their leaders to marry, that welcomes people of all sexual orientation and allows them to be leaders.... is it a perfect organization... of course not... but frankly it does lots of good work both within the local community and internationally.... it has lots of good people
  8. Welcome to Lyla Eva.... I think you will find this a great place to meet others interested in this lifestyle... don't be afraid to jump into the discussion it's a good way to get known and meet people.
  9. As noted by many already I can imagine that some clients might use the promise of a review as a way to attempt to influence the "quality" of the encounter... I would guess if this was the case the client would have to raise the prospect of the "positive Review" either before or during the actual service portion of the encounter which to me would be a bit of a red light for the lady. Frankly I find it kind of silly to think that the quality of the service a lady would provide would change based on the prospect of a review... Now if the client was to take the approach that they would threaten a negative review unless they received a specific service I would suggest that the lady discontinue the service and ask the guy to leave... if the jerk posts a negative review somewhere just keep in mind that a guy who would try something like that has most likely already been pegged as a Jerk by others and the review would be treated accordingly. As for guys saying the will post a review and never actually following through... in most cases I would chalk that simply up to the guy having an honest intention at the time that that not matched by their actions on the sexy lady is no longer in front of them.... Lol... now if I was a SP and I had discussed with the client his posting of a review I would probably pop him a message to ask what happened to the review.... so ladies if I ever tell you I will post a review and then don't follow through its just my lousy time management so feel free to ask me about it. My approach to reviews has always been to only discuss the issue with the lady at the conclusion of the session... I can't say I do it at the end because I don't want it to impact the session because frankly up till now that never really occurred to me... I have usually raised the issue at the end or by a post encounter message only because I will never post a review without the approval of the lady and in fact I send them the draft prior to posting the review not necessarily for their review but certainly to provide them with an opportunity to point out any concerns they may have. In my experience more and more ladies are expressing a lack of interest in any form of review. Just my Opinion
  10. Once again I am thinking how nice this thread would be with more pictures lol
  11. Happy Birthday Claire Heavens I hope you have a wonderful day.
  12. Over the years I have posted a few reviews but I don't think I have ever experienced any bullying or pressure to either review or not review so I can't really add much in that regards.
  13. You keep referencing "the Church" but I am not sure exactly which church you are referring too... The Roman Catholic Church... The Anglican Church... the United Church of Canada... The Pentecostal Church... The Greek Orthodox... Christians are not all one monolithic block some are more progressive then others... the Pope does not speak for the Christian Church just the Roman Catholic Church. I maybe could have said that better was not suggesting that you were saying I was wrong... I am not saying you are either... just a discussion we all have our opinions. Sorry if I made you think that. Love the discussion by the way.
  14. Well the Bible is a book and over the years it has been interpreted in many ways..often the interpretation has taken on the particular vent of the person doing the interpretation... The bible is a collection of stories written or recorded by people over a longer period of time... if you are a Christian and therefore a follower of Jesus Christ then you know in large part it is stories about him but not infact written by him... This is not a document delivered to man by God it is many men's interpretation of what God expects from men. I wonder is it possible that the authors of the bible included in it the cultural beliefs that were popular at their time... not unlike scientific writing at any particular time include the scientific knowledge at the time which we know is often proven wrong at a later date. Perhaps... just perhaps the authors of the bible misinterpreted "god" message to man (of course this all assumes their is a God and I will be fucked if I know the answer to that one. You maintain that the Bible itself is against Homosexuality... hmmm I agree that way too many Christians read that into their interpretation of the bible but I have had Gay Christian friends who would beg to differ with what the Bible does or does not say... This book written by MEN is thousands of years old and reflect that in its wording and examples used... but yeah your must be right it must be all wrong I mean it does not even mention that Internet and shit God must have known that was coming. Just my Opinion Additional Comments: Well the Bible is a book and over the years it has been interpreted in many ways..often the interpretation has taken on the particular vent of the person doing the interpretation... 17. Interesting... I have to go to Ottawa in March too :)
  18. I think I would have to disagree with your assertion that religion does not change... if your comment was intended to suggest that "some" religious people are intransigent in their beliefs then I would suggest that is unfortunately the case but to suggest that religious people don't look at the basic tenets of their beliefs and try to see how they apply in today's world is in my opinion not true. Religion like all of society evolves maybe not as fast or as far as anti religious people may want but I have seen significant change in just my lifetime. As an example I would point to the acceptance of same sex marriage by many Christian faiths... not so long ago this would have been thought totally unthinkable. Just my Opinion
  19. Watched "Run all Night" 2015 Liam Neeson and Ed Harris Mobster and hit man Jimmy Conlon has one night to figure out where his loyalties lie: with his estranged son, Mike, whose life is in danger, or his longtime best friend, mob boss Shawn Maguire, who wants Mike to pay for the death of his own son. It was pretty good http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2199571/
  20. Just home from watching the St. John's IceCaps lose 4 to 1 to the Portland Pirates... they lost last night to the same team 5 to 1... the Icecaps are th AHL affiliate of the HABS and it seem like they are straying to play like th parent club. Anyway... home from game watching TV with one of my children and checking the posts.
  21. Not really being able to help someone you care about who is having a truly difficult time...
  22. Pizza and hot dogs at the hockey game with a family member who is going through a very difficult time right now.... never really got to watch the game but that's ok we did get to talk and that's what was needed.
  23. Religion is almost never the reason people go to war... it's almost always political... it's about power and control and wealth... in many many cases political leaders and those in pursuit of power invoke the name of religion to justify their ambitions for power. If there was no such thing as religion there would still be war. Just my Opinion
  24. Kinda feel Religion like most things can be as good or as bad as you want to make it... for those who are against religion they will point to all the negative things associated with it but seldom seem to acknowledge anything that might be seen as positive. Conversely many religious people can only see the good that religion may have done and not the negative... for me the answer lies somewhere in the middle thankfully most people in this world are ok with allowing people to feel... To think and to believe in whatever they choose... they accept that people's beliefs can be different and be respectful and tolerant about it.
