  1. Happy Birthday Tincup...hope you have a great day.
  2. Well the first tip is be respectful of the lady and the boundaries she has established for her business... most reputable ladies clearly outline their booking practices so take the time to fully read their ads and if they have one their website. I can tell you from experience the better you treat the ladies you meet the better they will treat you. I see you are in Ottawa which has many wonderful ladies and is usually a stop on most of the touring ladies schedule so you should not have a problem with finding great ladie to meet. Take your time and do research on here... There are lots of thread that cover do's and don't so spend some time going back through the past threads... it's time we'll spent. You will need to look closely at the Ottawa section both to see the ads and also read the posts by ottawa ladies and of course the recommendation threads. All that said the bottom line is pick a great Lyla lady and make a booking... even if it turns out to not be exactly what your looking for it will still probably be your best day of the week. Good luck with your pursuit of this lifestyle.
  3. If you would like what info I have feel free to PM Me.
  4. Can't help but think that while they may have jewels on them the real treasure is actually inside them.... Hope your having a great Christmas Raven
  5. Well I was not really doing anything... nothing scheduled today so was taking it easy and just started checking the posts.. Now for some reason unknown to me I can't stop thinking about Naked Crocheting and while I don't drink coffee or live in Winnipeg I have an urge to head to Stella's (whatever the fuck Stella's is).
  6. Well I recorded all the World Jr games from today so I am gonna do a late night marathon and watch them all... along with the Canada game at Spangler Cup. It's Boxing Day... that means Hockey in Canada.
  7. Gas for the car... last tank full for the year
  8. I am assuming Guys all over Winnipeg were rushing out to their local coffee shop for a Cougar sighting...
  9. Begrudgingly getting dressed... kinda feel that's they most people feel when they see you starting to get dressed... :)
  10. I certainly get the idea that if your first appointment with a lady is for an hour or more I can make for an awkward situation if it is determined that you are not compatible but for me I am willing to take that risk because 30 minutes is like th blink of an eye in terms for getting to know someone... it it very very seldom that I I looking for a quickie... I very much enjoy the company of almost every lad I meet and want the time to chat and joke and get a feel for this amazing lady who has let me be part of her day... so I don't think I have ever made a booking for less than an hour. I have on rare occasions I have left before the hour is up...sometimes because there is no connection and I chose to leave early and sometimes because the ladies approach is to rush them in and rush them out... for some an orgasm is an ending and a reason to rush out the door for me it's just one of the wonderful moments you get to share with your companion. In fact if I measured the success of an encounter by my cumming then in my particular case I guess I would have to consider a lot of extremely wonderful sessions that I have had as failures (lol) If cumming signals the end of the session then I guess a few of my encounters would never end lol. The bottom line for me is that I have found a longer booking better meets my need for connection... I risk leaving early and feeling like I paid too much for a shorter time because it is a better risk for me than book for a short visit and feeling rushed with no connection. Let's face it... the ladies who have met me can attest to the fact that I like to chat so 30 mins in its highly likely I am still fully dressed :) Just my Opinion
  11. It's early on Boxing Day and I have been up for a while but that not really new as I often don't sleep through the night so I have been sitting here reviewing the year just gone past and thinking about the year to come.... So with the great contemplation of my life done for the day I am now checking the posts here on Lyla as I wait for the rest of my family to wake. When they do we will head out to brunch and then back home for the day which should be filled with Canada VS US in World Jr Hockey and about 30 family and friends joining us for supper.
  12. Over the years I have experienced a few delays or rescheduling of appointments at the last minute by ladies but it usually is for what I would consider very good reasons... Transportation delays... late flight... car problems Room not ready / available / requiring Maintenance. Sometimes being the first booking with a touring lady is not the best idea. I don't think I have ever been asked to accommodate a lady and reschedule so that she had additional time to finalize her screening process and frankly unless this was a last minute booking I would not see this as a very good reason to delay and would likely not proceed with the booking unless I was provided with a reasonable explanation for why the screening was not done earlier. Just My Opinion
  13. Having someone open a gift that you gave them and discovering it is empty
  14. Happy Birthday Notch I hope you have a great day.
  15. If I gentleman "walks away" after arriving or cancels at the last minute then I would expect that the full payment should be made. The exception to this would be in situations where the reason for the decision not to continue is because of something which is the responsibly of the lady (bait and switch, lady not available at agreed upon time) but frankly in my experience these are the exception especially if you are booking with reputable ladies. When someone cancels on or two days before a booking then the gentleman should follow the ladies cancellation policy which is normally some lower cancellation fee or no charge in my experience. Cancellation especially for touring ladies can be exceptionally challenging and can turn a potentially lucrative trip into a loss so it is a serious issue and this should be understood by us guys when we are booking. That said it is equally important for ladies to understand that sometimes situations change (not referring to walk aways just cancellations in general) and that there will be cancellations... they are part of the business so have a clear though out and fair policy for clients. I have had the experience where I had to cancel a booking with a very well established lady who was touring St. John's but when I contacted the lady about a 5 days before our date to tell her I needed to cancel and I asked her about her cancellation policy she gave me considerable grief which frankly is just not appropriate... I had never met this person before so there was no history on which to base her behavior. I call with plenty of time and asked about her policy and still got grief. As for deposits... I totally understand why ladies would look for a deposit especially for longer duration bookings but frankly I would never give a deposit to a lady I have not met before but respect that it might be necessary for ladies to structure their business in this matter. I have learned over years that paying upfront can be problematic. Just My Opinion
  16. Just Leaving the office for the Christmas break it's been a long year which frankly I am kinda glad is coming to a close. I have done what I can to ensure its a good Christmas for all the people I care about so I am looking forward to a few nice days with family.
  17. Maybe they have not failed... maybe they have just succeeded in keeping them in the basement :)
  18. The quick answer is that yeah you might get refused by some ladies but frankly I kinda think that for a respectful gentleman there is certainly enough ladies out there that you would find many that would be fine with the fact that you don't have a cell. I note that your post is in the Halifax thread so assuming you are in that area I would suggest you could check out: Midnite-Energies... who has an email contact link on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=77835 www.rawr4u.com Or MsManda ...who has an email contact link on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=75468 www.msmanda.com/ Sierra ...who has an email contact link and phone number on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=24762 http://sierra-halifaxescort.com/ Katherine ...who has an email contact link on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=29603 http://www.sensualkatherine.net/ In January Autumn Raine Will be visiting Halifax...who has an email contact link and phone number on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA once she gets back from her Christmas Vacation http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=110704 www.autumnraine4u.com And only a short distance from Halifax there is Maraena http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=35208 http://www.maraenablackwell.com/ And that's just who I can recommend I am sure with a little research you can find more. I hope you meet a great lady... I don't think not having a cell phone will stop you :)
  19. Ignore my comment on the "next purchase" thread I no longer have any worry about the Cougar having become domesticated...however reading that list of purchases I am somewhat overcome by other thoughts :) Maybe I should just ask what you ate..... for lunch I mean.
  20. You had me worried... there for a second I thought that the Cougar had become domesticated and turned over to new Spatula so to speak... As for what you might be using that spatula all I can say is beats me :P
  21. All my Christmas traditions revolve around Family and those people in my life that I truly care about... each year I do my very best to try and make a real impact in their lives so that Christmas can be a wonderful time in their lives. As Katherine referenced time marches on and for me like everyone else this means that we no longer have the blessing of having all the people love or care about in our lives.... of course Christmas allows us the wonderful memories of times past where we spent amazing times in their company but for many like myself wonderful memories are often accompanied by the overwhelming pain we feel because of their loss... the things in life that can bring you the greatest pleasure can also cause you the greatest difficulty... each christmas we light a special candle on our table at all family events in memory of family who are no longer with is physically but remain part of who we are. While all that is true...life does continue so I continue all the traditions... the amazing food that in my family are associated with christmas... Christmas Eve family service with all the so well known caroling...driving around the city to see all the amazing house lights... visiting Signal Hill to see the Christmas Star placed there each year and visible all across St. John's... taking gifts and food hampers to one or two families...reading a Christmas book with my family on Christmas eve (something we started when they were young but continue as adults)... sharing family meals with a large extended family almost every night over Christmas.. For those who I care about but don't get to see over Christmas I always try to connect in some way... maybe a call, text or email on Christmas Day and for those who are not with me anymore I always make time between Christmas and New Years to visit their gravesite and share a few words with them and for one family member I make a post on their facebook page that continues long after their passing... seems right it was how they communicated with the world. So Christmas in my household is full of amazing traditions... boxes and boxes of family decorations that have been passed on from parents and grandparents.. it's full of Christmas smells and tastes and more amazing memories than any one person could ask for.. My wish to all of you is that your Christmas will contain the feeling of love and happiness that I have shared with my family and loved ones for so many years... Merry Christmas everyone.
