  1. Happy Birthday Notch I hope you have a great day.
  2. If I gentleman "walks away" after arriving or cancels at the last minute then I would expect that the full payment should be made. The exception to this would be in situations where the reason for the decision not to continue is because of something which is the responsibly of the lady (bait and switch, lady not available at agreed upon time) but frankly in my experience these are the exception especially if you are booking with reputable ladies. When someone cancels on or two days before a booking then the gentleman should follow the ladies cancellation policy which is normally some lower cancellation fee or no charge in my experience. Cancellation especially for touring ladies can be exceptionally challenging and can turn a potentially lucrative trip into a loss so it is a serious issue and this should be understood by us guys when we are booking. That said it is equally important for ladies to understand that sometimes situations change (not referring to walk aways just cancellations in general) and that there will be cancellations... they are part of the business so have a clear though out and fair policy for clients. I have had the experience where I had to cancel a booking with a very well established lady who was touring St. John's but when I contacted the lady about a 5 days before our date to tell her I needed to cancel and I asked her about her cancellation policy she gave me considerable grief which frankly is just not appropriate... I had never met this person before so there was no history on which to base her behavior. I call with plenty of time and asked about her policy and still got grief. As for deposits... I totally understand why ladies would look for a deposit especially for longer duration bookings but frankly I would never give a deposit to a lady I have not met before but respect that it might be necessary for ladies to structure their business in this matter. I have learned over years that paying upfront can be problematic. Just My Opinion
  3. Just Leaving the office for the Christmas break it's been a long year which frankly I am kinda glad is coming to a close. I have done what I can to ensure its a good Christmas for all the people I care about so I am looking forward to a few nice days with family.
  4. Maybe they have not failed... maybe they have just succeeded in keeping them in the basement :)
  5. The quick answer is that yeah you might get refused by some ladies but frankly I kinda think that for a respectful gentleman there is certainly enough ladies out there that you would find many that would be fine with the fact that you don't have a cell. I note that your post is in the Halifax thread so assuming you are in that area I would suggest you could check out: Midnite-Energies... who has an email contact link on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=77835 www.rawr4u.com Or MsManda ...who has an email contact link on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=75468 www.msmanda.com/ Sierra ...who has an email contact link and phone number on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=24762 http://sierra-halifaxescort.com/ Katherine ...who has an email contact link on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=29603 http://www.sensualkatherine.net/ In January Autumn Raine Will be visiting Halifax...who has an email contact link and phone number on her website or can be contacted by PM here on LYLA once she gets back from her Christmas Vacation http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=110704 www.autumnraine4u.com And only a short distance from Halifax there is Maraena http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=35208 http://www.maraenablackwell.com/ And that's just who I can recommend I am sure with a little research you can find more. I hope you meet a great lady... I don't think not having a cell phone will stop you :)
  6. Ignore my comment on the "next purchase" thread I no longer have any worry about the Cougar having become domesticated...however reading that list of purchases I am somewhat overcome by other thoughts :) Maybe I should just ask what you ate..... for lunch I mean.
  7. You had me worried... there for a second I thought that the Cougar had become domesticated and turned over to new Spatula so to speak... As for what you might be using that spatula all I can say is beats me :P
  8. All my Christmas traditions revolve around Family and those people in my life that I truly care about... each year I do my very best to try and make a real impact in their lives so that Christmas can be a wonderful time in their lives. As Katherine referenced time marches on and for me like everyone else this means that we no longer have the blessing of having all the people love or care about in our lives.... of course Christmas allows us the wonderful memories of times past where we spent amazing times in their company but for many like myself wonderful memories are often accompanied by the overwhelming pain we feel because of their loss... the things in life that can bring you the greatest pleasure can also cause you the greatest difficulty... each christmas we light a special candle on our table at all family events in memory of family who are no longer with is physically but remain part of who we are. While all that is true...life does continue so I continue all the traditions... the amazing food that in my family are associated with christmas... Christmas Eve family service with all the so well known caroling...driving around the city to see all the amazing house lights... visiting Signal Hill to see the Christmas Star placed there each year and visible all across St. John's... taking gifts and food hampers to one or two families...reading a Christmas book with my family on Christmas eve (something we started when they were young but continue as adults)... sharing family meals with a large extended family almost every night over Christmas.. For those who I care about but don't get to see over Christmas I always try to connect in some way... maybe a call, text or email on Christmas Day and for those who are not with me anymore I always make time between Christmas and New Years to visit their gravesite and share a few words with them and for one family member I make a post on their facebook page that continues long after their passing... seems right it was how they communicated with the world. So Christmas in my household is full of amazing traditions... boxes and boxes of family decorations that have been passed on from parents and grandparents.. it's full of Christmas smells and tastes and more amazing memories than any one person could ask for.. My wish to all of you is that your Christmas will contain the feeling of love and happiness that I have shared with my family and loved ones for so many years... Merry Christmas everyone.
  9. I am not sure if these ladies are working over the holiday period but I can certainly recommend the following ladies: Bianca Jaguar http://biancajaguar.com/ Emma Alexander http://www.emmaalexandrapage.com/home.html Camile Haring http://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=91908 Julie Candy You can also try: www.indycompanion.com http://www.indycompanion.com/
  10. Checking the posts and email before I head into the office for what will be a busy morning followed by a funeral this afternoon... A brutal way to start the Christmas period.
  11. Find it hard to believe you are eating alone... Finished my last Christmas shopping last night when I picked up a Surface Pro 4 for a family member.
  12. Happy Birthday Genevieve I hope you have a Wonderful day.
  13. Actually both Kendra's and Aura have made the news this year so both are well known in the community. I have never been to Aura but have been to Kendra's a few times and it met all my expectations.
  14. Well that's just because they have not met us yet :) All jokes aside... I pick who I want to see so I don't judge if the lady does the same. Now that said I might not judge but begging and pleading and whining might be all part of my approach if she really attracts me lololol
  15. Shopping tonight for a new computer for a family member... thinking Surface Pro 4 is best fit but damn expensive... I am fine with the 128 gig internal drive as it can be supplemented by up to a 128 gig SD card but I wanted to get the faster processor and 16 gig of RAM and there does not seem to be an option that gives that for less than two grand. I bought a Surface Pro 2 three years ago for about $1200 so the upgrades are coming at a steep cost.
  16. I know your post was probably primarily seeking the advise of the ladies here on Lyla but from a guys/client perspective I have to agree with what has already been said: Pick a name that represents you and you feel good about Guys fully understand that it is a work name and not real and frankly if they don't get that then maybe you would be better off not seeing them The only concern a client should have with a lady changing her work name is if its required because of a bad reputation that she has earned and is trying to hide from. If you are planning on moving forward with Mystique then post the name change on here so its clear why the change is happening and for those existing clients where you have permission to contact send them a note advising of the change. it might also be a good idea to have a transition period where you post things using "Mystique (formarly Maria)" if you make the dirrect association it will be clear that the change is not a case of hiding from a bad reputation. Just my Opinion
  17. In my office working with some great old christmas classics playing... think Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby...
  18. 20. I have on occasion remove my ring when I am meeting a person for the first time and is not someone who I h been able to research in my normal way lol... non Lyla ladies but frankly it does not happen very often.
  21. Just started watching "Fatal Attraction" with Michael Douglas, Glenn Close and Ann Archer... this movie is 25 years old but still is a great movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093010/ Very sexy lady sensual.... but scares the hell out of all of us cheaters..lolol
