  1. In terms of inflation and the impact it might have... well to compare any financial item over time you have to compare constant dollars so inflationary impacts must be considered especially if we are talking about something spread over 15 to 20 years. For example if the taking of the early payments allows you to purchase a retirement property now versus waiting 5 to 10 years when the value may have gone up 10% or more a year then it becomes easy to see why inflation and the usage to which the funds will be put to becomes important. Frankly it's not really possible to know which option is better without knowing all the details related ti the individuals situation... that said discussions like this are important because it gets people thinking ahead of time about retirement... thanks for starting th thread. Just my Opinion
  2. Basicly your math is right but like most of life's decisions it is not really that simple... you have not factored in inflation or any investment of the money you might receive earlier or if the money might have been used to paydown or pay off a high interest debt earlier. Bottom line there is a break even point but it is different for every person's individual situation... Just my Opinion
  3. I agree with most of the comments... in most cases it makes sense to take the money early in fact even if you are still working. Just my Opinion
  4. Sorry have never seen her as a Domme but have seen her a few times for standard bookings and all I can tell you is she is a very sexy, beautiful classy lady. If she approaches her Domme sessions with the same zest as her regular booking I can't imagine you could go wwrong booking with her.
  5. While I can't say if women play with themselves while driving as I have no first hand experience I shave certainly learned from my involvement in this industry that females can be every bit as sexual as men so I kinda think woman play in the car. As for me playing in the car... well I think we All had our go at parking and car sex as part of our adolescence however I outside of that I only really have one car incident.. it was about 15 or more years ago and I was at the original Cotton Club location in St. John's NL I had been there a while and had struck up a friendship with a sexy young dancer we spent the night together at the bar with numerous trips to the champagne room. Before I new it it was closing time and she suggested I take her to get something to eat... we piled into my car and took off and before I knew it she was sitting across my lap facing me as i tried to drive.... All I will say is it was an interesting drive up Water St and I have no idea how we were not arrested for dangerous driving. Ahhh to be young and stupid again. Just my Opinion
  6. Lol... I think we all have.... but then I stop and remind myself that I am at least half of the equation... lol if the old adage is true that we bring out the best in other people I wonder what poor session say about us lololol Just my Opinion
  7. Well I always thought that if I could sit at the Bar and lick my eyebrows it would be a wonderful way to attract the ladies... lol (kidding of course) I had a relative who is not with me anymore who loved to sing and play music... it's not a talent I ever had and I miss the singing and music in my home... so if i could suddenly develop a talent it would be to make music of some kind... sort of feel it would bridge the gap and keep us connected. Just my Opinion
  8. I have been active in this industry as a client for well over 20 years and have seen lots of posts by ladies saying they restrict their client to over 30 or 40... interestingly while I have never been turned down for a booking because I was to young I was recently turned down by a lady who told me she does not see anyone over 50. Getting turned down for a booking is never fun especially when you have already developed an interest in a particular lady but let's be honest while we might sit back and say hey why does she not see anyone under 30 Like somehow it's not right we never stop to think we do the exact same thing... we might not right it in an ad... but we read ads and skip over ladies who don't meet the selection criteria we have in our mind... so really what the difference. Just my Opinion
  9. I am at a point where I could retire at anytime... I have a good pension plan and we have made some excellent investments in real estate that will ensure we have a good retirement income flow... Being able to retire and wanting to retire is of course two separate things up till a few months ago I would have said I would stick around for a few more years but the dynamics where I work are changing and frankly I am not at a place in my life where I am willing to put up with much bullshit... so i may leave earlier than I expected. As for finances... don't rely on CPP... or the government... start early and invest in yourself. Just my Opinion
  10. Happy Birthday... hope you have a great day.

Your right Pete very beautiful... but the picture does not do her justice
  12. For me the bottom line is as follows: It is illegal to purchase a sexual service in Canada even though it IS LEGAL to sell a sexual service. So in my opinion the hiring of a Escort for the purposes of him/her providing you with a sexual service is against the law. As with everything in life the devil is always in the detail... what if you are only hiring the escort for companionship with no explicit or implied contract for sex just the pleasure of her time... that should be legal. I guess to a certain extent it comes down to what they can prove and we will only really know legally once this is placed before the courts and it makes its way back the the Supreme Court. As for me... th legality was questionable in the past and I made bookings it is questionable now and I will continue to make bookings but just be a little more careful. Just my Opinion
  13. Well I don't know much about the industry in Winnipeg or about how these particular arrests might seem to the participants in the industry in that area so my comments here should really be taken as my general thoughts about the industry based on my experiences over the year in a few markets across the country. From my perspective it is pretty obvious that the sex industry certainly does have its element of exploiters who look to take advantage of sex workers who find themselves in difficult situations and that this element is more likely to be seen at the street level. Now I am not saying that everyone who works in the industry at the street level is being exploited just that I think the risks in that part of the industry are much greater and the elements of our society that look to take advantage might focus more where they think there is greater vulnerability. If the police is Winnipeg are operating on this type of premises and focusing on eliminating the exploitative elements then I guess this could be a good thing. My concern I guess is that we have often seen people professing to want to "save" sex workers when in reality the steps they take only make life for the sex worker more difficult and risky. You want to do something to remove the exploitative element out of the industry make it legal and apply the same safe work legislation to sex workers that you do to others. I recently saw a tweet from a lady who may need surgery and she commented that their are no medical benefits or EI in this business... There are so many things that could be done but we seem to instead want to only focus on the application of legal repercussion on one or the other parties to this industry. We used to persecute the sex worker and now we want to persecute the client. I think things are changing but we have a very long way to go. Just my Opinion

  15. This is indeed not a simple issue and there have been a number of court cases on the issue and certainly the case cited by mrnice2 is one of those but I am not sure it "decided" the issue I think one would also have to consider. Fraser vs Public Service Staff Relations Board which like the Osborne case supported the rights of Civil Servents but with restrictions... "The Court held that some speech by public servants on public issues is permitted. An absolute prohibition would not be consistent with the deep-rooted principles of robust public discussion in a democratic society, with the size of the public service, or with plain common sense. The Court added that: ... indeed, in some circumstances a public servant may actively and publicly express opposition to the policies of a government. This would be appropriate if, for example, the Government were engaged in illegal acts, or if its policies jeopardized the life, health or safety of the public servant or others, or if the public servant's criticism had no impact on his or her ability to perform effectively the duties of a public servant or on the public perception of that ability. But, having stated these qualifications (and there may be others), it is my view that a public servant must not engage, as the appellant did in the present case, in sustained and highly visible attacks on major Government policies. In the end, other interests must be balanced against the right to free speech, including the duty of loyalty to the employer and the ability of the public servant to do his or her job. Mr Fraser lost his appeal and his dismissal from the public service was therefore upheld" http://www.erc-cee.gc.ca/cnt/rsrcs/pblctns/rtcls/a-019-eng.aspx. In regard the scientist in question I would suggest that the application of the Fraser decision would support his public comments on the restrictions being applied to scientists in the public service but the song goes much further than that and may serve to demonstrat the individuals lack of political impartiality which does damage to the public service as a whole. The fact that Mr Harper is an ass whose policies many (including me) feel are damaging our country is really not relevant that is a political opinion and the public service should be non-partisan a respect the fact that the government of the day was elected to govern. Now back to the real reason fo this post... Let all vot t = rid of Harper so w can move on to the next group of politicians who will disapoint us. And yes I am a political junkie and enjoy the dabate around this... hearing a broad spectrum of voices is a good thing. Just my Opinion
  16. Just to be clear I respect the scientist for standing up for something he strongly supports I just think he must have also understood the limits that were on his engagement in politics as a federal public servant. As for equal treatment if the song had been about the readiness of Mr. Trudeau all I can say is that while I would not have expected the political masters in the government to react as swiftly I certainly would expect that the professional managers in the public service would have applied the same standard. Just my Opinion
  17. New coffee shop that opened in Wales for people who don't like mornings... http://www.grumpyfuckers.com/coffee-shop-opens-for-non-morning-people/
  18. Harper is wrong in the way he has stifled the scientific community but to be fair every federal public servant should understand the principles of nonpartisanship... the role of the public service is to dutifully advise the government of the day and implement the policies an legislation with out regard for politics. It will never be appropriate for the public servant to speak out against government policy... this may not seem fair but it is appropriate. It should be kept in mind while public servants can't speak out individually they are represented by strong effective unions that can and do speak out on government policy. All that said... Harper should be gone. Just my Opinion
  19. Happy Birthday... hope you have a great day.
  20. That's what I like about this thread... regardless of what the answer is I get to think about beautiful sexy ladies in their underwear... pink boy shorts with tiger print... works for me lol
  21. I don't know if there is anything else... I think I kind of lean towards the thinking that there is not because to believe there is something more kind of makes it seem like there must be some Devine order of things and frankly I lost all hope of that being the case several years ago with the senseless passing of someone I love.... my reason and logic tell me that this is in fact all there is but my love and grief and need to know has me hoping there is more... Just my Opinion
