I was just on Twitter reading a bunch of posts and came across one that suggested that the terms "Hobby" and "Hobbiest" were not ideal terms for use in this industry and that might be seen as inappropriate because this industry is all about interpersonal relationships and the term Hobby is not complementary to that notion. I have to admit that I was surprised to see the post but it did make me think. I certainly have used the term in the past mostly however in posts on this and other similar sites and have to admit I never really thought of my participation in this industry as a hobby until I saw the term used frequently on this site so I adopted it. My initial reaction is that while I can see some initial incongruence with the use of the term if one thinks of more traditional hobbies like coin collecting a review of the definition of the term Hobby does seem to fit: Merriam-Webster definition - a pursuit outside one's regular occupation engaged in especially for relaxation http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hobby online dictionary definition.- an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupatio. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/hobby I would love to know what others think as if is something that is seen as offensive or inappropriate especially by people working in the industry then I would want to rethink my usage of the term. From my perspective everyone, both ladies and clients, have to set their own parameters for how they participate in this industry .... Some ladies have regular professional photo shoots and some stick to selfies... some ladies have chosen to show their face in their posted pictures... some never show their face... some only show face pictures in members only sections on their websites and I am betting in all of these situations the lady has given significant thought to the potential ramifications of having their picture out there because once it is out there it is out there forever... they lose control. Unfortunately this industry has significant negative stereotypes attached to it and for many being publicly associated with the industry can have huge impacts both on the lady and on their family and friends.. from my perspective that is unfortunate but is a reality. Because of this reality I think it is extremely important that as a client that I do not either directly or indirectly put additional pressure on any lady to share more then she is comfortable in sharing... I will normally make the assumption that the lady has already shared what she is comfortable in sharing and would not ask for additional pictures and would never leave the impression that unless I see a current pictures or a face picture that I will not complete a booking... for me that is not in any way appropriate. To put the shoe on the other foot what if the lady asks me for a picture of me for her personal safety would I be ok with that if it was someone I did not know... do I want my picture and texts out there for everyone to see. This hobby comes with some inherent risks for both escorts and clients ... for clients it often is the risk of being caught by our significant other or that our activities become public... There is of course the risk to our personal safety or a financial risks associated with a bait and switch or a robbery but frankly in the 20+ years I have been in this hobby I have always found ways to mitigate these risks through good research and thinking safety first. For escorts the risks are so much greater ... they put themselves out there on a daily basis.. unlike us guys who play occasionally... they are constantly in an environment where society and the government has forced them to operate under less than ideal circumstances .. in this environment wonderful ladies have put in place the booking and safety protocols that are right for them including how they handle the desire for clients like me to have more info and more pictures... from my perspective the right thing for me to do is accept the business practice the lady has put in place and not pressure her. Just my Opinion

I can't recommend any particular brand but if you are having a problem with your current butt plug slipping out I would be happy to lend you a hand :)

Sorry have not seen any of the ladies referenced by the OP... As for where to look... in my experience ladies with established websites who advertise regularly in different venues have been the most reliable but as with everything in life there are no guarantees what is gold for one person is often garbage to someone else.. personal preference and expectations is such a large part of this hobby. My experience with Ladies from Lyla has been head and shoulders better than other venues but that too is not a guarantee. If you want to play in this hobby you must be willing to take some Risk. As for Sasaki and Ava I do have some personal experience... the NL Recommendations thread has a post I made about Ava a while ago I now have additional experiences with her so if you would like an update you can PM me.

I appreciate and agree with your comments... As for people judging me... I always kind of think that says more about them than it does about me. The last comments on my post were said more in humour than anything else.

There is no right answer that will apply to everyone... each of us must find the approach that best meets our needs and go with it. In my particular case I have chosen to just have the one phone and then made certain that my data on the phone is securely available only to me by using a password on the phone and several apps that allow additional levels of security. For example I use a Blackberry with a pictorial password for phone assess. My contact information for ladies I have met or see regularly is in my main contact list but I use a password protected contact management App to hide the most sensitive listing. For my wife to access this data she would first need my phone password and then second my contact management app password. (of course you need to be smart and not use passwords that your wife might guess). I have a separate yahoo email address for my hobby activities that I can easily access from the browser on my phone but all the email are safely tucked away on Yahoo once again with a secure password needed for access. As 90% or more of my contact with ladies in this hobby is via text message (especially after 1st contact) I use an app that removes all my text messages from specifically identified contacts (yea you guessed it all the private contacts) from my SMS log so if by chance my wife does see the text chat history on my phone it is clean as a whistle... in fact down right boring. ( you guessed it the SMS app has a password) For me this combination of security features works so I am very comfortable with it. As a side note I kinda think for me the greater risk is on the financial side.. email money transfers show up on your bank statements so it would be really great if ladies created payment email accounts that were more mundane for example itsolutions@gmail.... instead of ladyx@gmail lol. Of course cash withdrawals also show up on bank statements so a separate bank account that does not have your wife's name on it and with statements sent by email is a great idea. As for my cell phone bill it is in my name only and I do electronic statements. Ok... now rereading what I just wrote I am guessing everyone reading this is thinking what a sneaking... lying... cheating bastard this guy Ice4fun is.... lol. I guess it is one of the negatives of participating in this hobby and being one of Mr. Harpers perverts. Just My Opinion

I am not sure this is the most appropriate way to address this issue. If the post you are asking about which you say was posted on another site was in fact written by a disgruntled client then you have now spread that negative message to everyone here. Perhaps a better approach might be to PM the lady in question and ask her if she was aware of the post on the other site and if you have a concern ask her directly. When we hear something negative about people my first though is always that their is two sides to every story and perhaps we should know all the facts before we jump to any conclusions or express any opinions. Just my Opinion
