  6. While it's never over till its over it is not looking very hopeful for the HABS...unfortunately the people they needed to step up in the playoffs just haven't and while Price might be the best goalie in the league he can't win every game for you... Price has made them competitive but they need to put the puck into the net. While I hope they stage a miracle come back let's just say that I will not be betting any money on them. BTW GL... As a Toronto Fan I can certainly understand how you feel... I too would have liked my team to win one or two before heading off golfing lol.
  7. Certainly pictures are a big addition but I can access the full browser version of Lyla on my phone as well and access it the same as on computer but for me the presentation and ease of access on tapatalk is greatly enhanced but others might feel different. Tapatalk is a free download.. give it a whirl I think you will also appreciate it. Just my Opinion
  8. Nachos, Cheeseburger and fries... Hockey game food...
  9. Was feeling under the weather last night so did not see the Flames game but was delighted to see they had won. I am hoping that the HABS can do the same tonight and get both remaining Canadian teams back in the hunt for the Cup.
  10. Room Service to eat while I watch the game...
  11. I would guess it is all a matter of personal preference. While i am certainly able to access LYLA Through the Browser on my phone I have found the Tapatalk app to be extremely good for very quick access to the site... with just 2 clicks i can scroll through the unread posts and reply... it is very user friendly. In addition it makes posting pictures to threads way easier. Just my Opinion
  12. This is so much personal preference and to some extent the ladies personal style. For me personally I always like the lady to just wear whatever makes her feel sexy and good about herself. Let's face it if the school girl outfit feels like a stretch to the lady it will most likely be less then successful. Who better to know what makes her feel sexy... then the lady herself. Just my Opinion
  13. Lazy morning start today... after a hard night... had what I thought was a great meal last night in Halifax that turned into a nightmare evening as the meal did not sit well with me to say the least... so slow morning and hoping for a better day.
  14. Without a doubt my daughter's have been and will continue to be the greatest source of true happiness in my life. Just thinking of them brings a smile to my face.
  15. Lunch in halifax food court... looking forward to a better dinner at a nice resturant in Halifax.

  19. Downloading boarding Pass for my trip to Halifax tomorrow...
  20. I think I would have to agree with Magician... the highlight of today would have to be the weather... I am not sure what the high temp was here in St. John's today but it's 6:30pm and 15c
  21. Very late lunch.. it's 6:12 here and i am just finishing it lol
  22. This week is Mental Health Awareness Week in Canada and I have come to understand as I have gotten older that Mental Health Challenges are going to impact all of us at some point in our life yet we are often unwilling to seek the help we may need.... afraid of the stigma of being seen as needing mental help. A number of years ago I experienced a significant loss in my life that I still deal with every day and struggle with every day. I have started to talk more openly about my challenges but yet still have not really sought professional help in dealing with the grief I feel. I have not gotten the help for a few reasons.... 1. I truly feel that this burden I carry is rightfully mine for not doing more for the loved one I lost ... I know that is stupid but it is how I feel. 2. I was raised in an environment where men were the strong ones.... they provided help... they supported other in need they bottled up their feelings and looked after others.... so it is a sign of weakness to not be able to cope with what life throws your way 3. A lot of who you are is how you are seen in the community and in your workplace and in your social circles and while by no means a high profile person I have a very good senior' management position... I am active in my community on several charities and boards and amongst my social friends I have always been the person they come to for advice and frankly I am somewhat afraid of how all of that would change if they knew of my daily struggles. So why am I even posting this... well like I said I am trying to talk more about it and strange as it seems the fact that I am just Ice4fun here makes it somewhat easier. I am also posting this because I think we all have a responsibility to look among our friends for signs that they are struggling and give them our support to seek help. Of course as I know only too well it is often way easier to give advice then take it yourself. I hope Mental Health Awareness week allows you to give some thought to this issue. http://www.thetelegram.com/News/Local/2015-05-04/article-4134588/Mental-Health-Week-gets-underway/1
