    A bit of good news to a really horrible story. They caught the guy suspected of murdering my friend today. He's a 24 year old. He hit my buddy's scooter with his pickup last Tuesday and instead of going through insurance and other stuff, they decided to work out the repairs between the two of them, with my buddy being the recipient of $1000 for the damage to his bike. Thursday, the 24 year old allegedly went to my friend's home at 8:45 in the morning and stabbed him to death. My friend? A 62 year old guy who looked and acted like the Dalai Lama... would not hurt a fly. It sucks that my friend had to die. It's great that they found the guy as quickly as they did. Let's hope justice prevails.

    I haven't heard. I was just gobsmacked hearing that anyone would want to kill this guy. He reminded me of a plain clothed Dalai Lama... nothing could stop him from being a nice guy or make him mad.

    Just found out about an hour ago that an old colleague and a very dear man was murdered yesterday in Toronto. One of the gentlest gentlemen, soft spoken, polite, calm and a very sweet disposition - I haven't seen him in a few years but this was like a gut punch - life is so precious and it can be taken away so easily....

    Twitter is a great tool... but it requires fairly regular attention especially on the part of providers. I can see it as a valuable asset for touring providers not only to reinforce schedules etc, but to gauge interest in a particular area of the country. As a hobbyist, I love the more direct interaction - the chance to actually converse in real time with providers that may or may not be heading to my town or who are currently in town. On the negative side, there appears to be little to no moderation - so there is a chance for the detractors to flame - but personality will shine through to compensate. Just a few rambling thoughts....

    I voted for Melisandre.... only because I absolutely LOVED her in the Dutch movie "The Black Book". She is far more attractive in that movie - ahhhhh.... Ohhh... and Lena Headey??? She's 39. HOT. She's like a Praying Mantis... you'd want to sleep with her and then run away to another country - she'd kill you when she was done with you! Dammit... Emilia and OOna are hot too.....
