Malika, Malika.... Pinky.... One of the most beautiful things about this place is that you get to know and (dare I say it???... hell yes) love some of the people with whom you interact, at the same time it is also a venue that can bring out some of the more loathsome characteristics in any of us. We are protected to a degree, whether you agree or not with what might seem like an artificial sweetness to our environs. Sweetness is nice, but sometimes our own version of diabetic shock sets in... and this place gets uber pissy. We have all seen it... it's like a picnic scene in a meadow, where everyone is enjoying an idyllic existence, the sun is shining, the breeze is cool, the colours are vibrant... and then zombies come in and eat everyone's brains. Zombies suck (BE PREPARED) - but they do serve a purpose. They keep us on our toes and usher in inevitable change. Like the sophic and sometimes seraphic SaraMQ states :"BUT... Where would life be without change?" CERB endures and we endure within it only because we are adaptable and despite our objections, we accept that change as necessary for our survival. Some will inevitably leave as a result of upheaval, more may join, but the one thing that is constant is that there will always be a core of amazing people with whom to interact - people that will make you smile so much that your cheeks ache.
