    The first day was and is a success. Day one the Chicken and Rib Combo plate with beans and slaw. Tasty. Purchased from first booth on the west side of OConnor .... tomorrow... PULLED PORK sammy!!!

    Of course you all know that there have been a lot of baked beans consumed on this, the first day of ribfest. We should be mindful of aftershocks and gas leaks... heheheheh

    Angela... ohhhh yeah... and I started today with the combo.....mmmmmmmmmmmmm As for the "Jesus use me" album... judging by the look of the girls, I think it would be more appropriate if there were an exclamation mark: "Jesus!! USE me."

    Just got home... if you don't need to drive now, don't. Between the street closures for the President/PM of China and the added stress of everyone in gov't buildings leaving early, the streets are a mess. Cell signals are intermittent.

    I do now... I used to have CB... camel bladder. I could go a day before having to go.... but I think the ex got that in the settlement.

    Of course napping is also easier when you get older... I found that since my bladder has shrunken to the size of a walnut, the compelling need to wake every 22 minutes has become habit forming....

    Well stated Lindsay. It's not about the exclusiveness... it's about fun and revelry. Who knows, it could lead to an opportunity to expand your clientele or meet someone that you had never considered visiting... it's all good. It lets us put faces to names and match personalities to posts. Sooo... 8 days from now we will see who we will see!!!

    Angela... you have no idea. I will be eating there Thursday and Friday for lunch (three blocks from the office) and Saturday and Sunday (7 blocks from home)... ohhhh it's gonna be RIBTACULAR!!!!!!

    Just two more days.... ribs.... chicken.... pulled pork samwidges.... cole slaw and baked beans.... one might think it would be a good weekend to stand upwind from your friends....

    If I may weigh in with my two cents.... The conversations that you share and the questions you ask are entirely dependent on the level of comfort you hold. I have both wonderful and intimate sessions that have included a great many questions... in fact, I probably know more about my "regular" than I do many of my friends and she knows much of my life. It's not judgmental or an interrogation, it is sharing information with someone with whom you have a bond. That being said, it does take a great deal of time to build up that level of trust and certainly the conversations we have now are far more profound than we had when we first met. Okay, that was about six cents worth, but I do prattle on....

    Mmmmmmmm tasty tasty ribs.... I had a buddy that had a condo on Sparks near the CBC... she said that they begin to cook the ribs at about 3am to prepare for the next day. For the two years she lived there, she dreaded that weekend... she would wake up salivating in the middle of the night and would be forced to wait until hours later to satisfy the craving....

    I do think that the original part of the thread was missed somewhat by Tulsa... it wasn't a request to have (all apologies to Antlerman) kleenex material, it was indeed an attempt to see who was appearing where and when... and perhaps a portfolio of non-explicit material to whet the appetite as it were. That being said, we do have a few here that will publish their photos and appearance venues... so all we have to do is pay attention!

    Hey Mod... I think we are okay, as long as the two Big Als are. Jazz is right though, it would make a big difference if they updated to identify the regions they are in!

    Okay... the little "big" with the big "AL" is one person and the big "Big" and the medium "Al" is another person. Little big big Al is in Manitoba and big big medium Al is not. There was a misunderstanding and now everyone now knows (with the exception of Angela) that little big big Al and big big medium Al are two completely different people. I am so glad that is cleared up.
