Fantastic idea Megan!!!! It's the art of seduction... well worth the price of admission!

That's how we will tell the difference. You will be the guy that is sitting. The "fake" big AL will be the one trying to assert his "big ALness" but we will know that our big AL is the humble one.

Lack of Respect And Manners In General

I have a few buddies that work for Customs.... A cavity search isn't necessary. You can turn a complete jerk to putty by just putting on a pair of rubber gloves and pulling them as high up your arm as you possibly can.... and remember, the federal budget doesn't have money for lube.... hehehehe. -
Noooo... you are big AL.... the other, ummmmmmmm... isn't.

How do you people do it????

There is a discipline. I succumb to ignoring it from time to time, but some of the most wonderful naps last only about 20 minutes to 30 minutes. The secret? The first time that you wake up, get up. Don't roll over and go back to sleep. When you wake up after 20-30 minutes you will experience about a minute or two of grogginess, but after that your energy will return. You should be good for the rest of the day and evening. Instant and glorious rejuvenation! Don't get down on yourself for having the mega nap... we all take advantage of a lazy day. Those two and three hour naps are fantastic!!!! -
Lack of Respect And Manners In General

I love this thread. It all starts at home. My kids were taught the same things that I was, that being, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto to you." I know it sounds all "Bible-ey" (I just made that up, but feel free to use it!) but sometimes the old sayings ring true through the ages. Common courtesy is something that all of us can achieve... it is easy and effective. One thing that has yet to be mentioned??? The "victim" syndrome. If I hold a door open for you, I am victimizing you. I am a male chauvinist pig degrading you by assuming that you can't do it for yourself. If I ask you to turn down your music at 3am, I am victimizing you. I am infringing on your freedom of expression. If I guide you safely around a storm but we arrive an hour late, I am victimizing you. I made you miss your connecting flight. If I don't warn you that your hot chocolate is hot, I am victimizing you. You may burn your thighs when you use them as a cupholder. If I save you money by combining your cell phone bills, I am victimizing you. Your hubby will find out you are having an affair by questioning some of the calls you have made. If I say that murdering your ex wife and daughters is unlawful, I am victimizing you. I am a racist in not recognizing your traditions. Most of this victimization has been set in stone by legal precedent. Judges (not the government) have made stupid decisions that give a-holes the right to be a-holes with no regard for others. Just a little rant... sorry!!! (Please don't sue me!) -

The Rainbow has it at 10am and at 8:50 pm. The Swedes have made all three movies (I haven't seen them yet) but my kid went and said the first one was fantastic... the only thing that was disturbing to her was a rather graphic "assault" scene (I don't want to give away too much.) She LOVED the actress cast as Lisbeth in the Swedish movie.... she said that she couldn't imagine anyone else in that role. -

Erin... if you loved Harry, then you will adore Flavia de Luce. The Stieg Larsson series... just finished it... fantastic. Too bad the author passed away about 5 years ago, his character Lisbeth Salander is one of my all time favourite fictional characters. I could not recommend any trilogy with much greater conviction than I could with "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest." -
It's okay Dorinda... in your honour we will be sure to raise a couple of big ones!!!!

Angela... we will always have steakfest.....

Emma - I agree 100%... and can add... what if your SO cheats? The whole system seems to hinge on safe sex practice (I was going to say you could be a priest, but let's not go down that road...)... but you are rejected solely based on "paying for sex?" I gave the ex a large cash settlement, a house and lots of other goodies... and in return I got really bad sex.... I think that would qualify her as being paid for sex... dammit, I have slept with the worst SP in the world! -
Salutations, felicitations and congratulations are in order. Bravo Annessa, bravo.

I can think of a few minor incidents, but this one has been with me for years. It was the first time that the ex wife and I had sex (together, not ever.) She had cats. Well needless to say and without going into graphic detail, I was thrusting away when one of her felines took a particular interest in my testicles. He move closer, batted a couple of times and I since I was otherwise occupied I paid no heed (he was declawed). Bad decision on my part. The next thing I know he launched himself, teeth bared, at my balls. I felt a glancing sting, whipped my head up and inadvertently deliver a head butt to the ex, square in the nose. Imagine. The ex is whoozy from a strike to the head, I am battling with a cat for possession of my testicles, and despite the fact that I am on the verge of coming, I have to disengage. The cat now sees a second target. Fortunately, I was able to evade. I began pursuing the cat around the ex's bedroom, still with a raging hard-on, in an attempt to reclaim at least some part of the passion that was interrupted. I succeeded in getting the cat out, slammed the door. Needless to say, the spark was gone. The ex has a bump on her nose, and is lying in a state of semi consciousness, I am attempting to see if she is okay while at the same time I am writhing, not from the cat encounter (which thankfully did not break skin) but from the fact that I have one of the worst cases of blue balls I have ever experienced. Fortunately, we both recovered and a few minutes later we finished what we started... And that ladies and gents... was my story. -

I hope that guy does well... there is nothing like a little self deprecating humour to show us all that we are just humans! -
That's brilliant Carrie!!!! I just wish we had the guts to have fun ads like that in North America....
