  1. Ohhh the secret is out now!!!!! Me too... Make spinach dip, grab a loaf of pumpernickel, and make an all day snackfest Have a shower so long that all the hot water is gone and my fingers and toes are wrinkled. Crank the AC and then grab a duvet, nap, wake up for a bit then nap again. Grab a book and read from cover to cover, regardless of how long it takes.
  2. Love it!!! But two more years??? Won't they have to call it Three Men by then???
  3. Okay Meg... I wholeheartedly agree with this one...now the art of the mixed tape for a girl that you were madly crushing on is a lost art. You actually had to buy the 45, borrow the lp, or be amazingly lucky with the radio. Then you had to make sure that the songs were in the right order.... and then you had to get all creative with the outer case. By all rights it was truly a labour of love... I bet that one 90 minute tape took about 10-12 hours to put together!!! Hand drawn hearts, your best writing (not the chicken scratch you normally used), the labels had to be perfect AND the tape had to be MAXELL gold, not some cheapo BiWay hissy thing. a few more: Going to A&W in your car and having the waitress attaching the tray to your window complete with the frosted glasses of root beer. Having all my friends in the same town... Monty Python's Flying Circus Saturday morning cartoons... card table forts firecrackers the Caramilk mystery...
  4. Okay... is it the curse that was lifted or the shirt??? I am personally fine with both !!!!

  6. Now that is a creative one that I wish I had coined myself. You can't just use it casually though, names like that must be put on the shelf for a period of time and used in the perfect opportunity. It's like a fine wine. I am maintaining "torpid filthy marmoset" in much the same manner....
  7. Dewey is Erik Per Sullivan http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0838059/ Brick is Atticus Shaffer http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2557831/
  8. There is no doubt that there is talent there!!!!! Much better than any of the poetry I attempt... that all seem to need a rhyme for Nantucket.....

  10. Ow... now there's a nasty cross thread.... the lovely thought of a plethora of lovely ladies in one room and all of a sudden Annie Lennox is singing in my brain, "Sweet dreams are made of this Who am I to disagree? I travel the world And the seven seas-- Everybody's looking for something. Some of them want to use you Some of them want to get used by you Some of them want to abuse you Some of them want to be abused. (Hold your head up--Keep your head up--MOVIN' ON)" Damning you in the kindest of ways Dorinda!!!! You gave me an EAR WORM!!!!
  11. I dare ya to click the link.... I double dare ya... I double DOG dare ya.... It will swirl in your brain for the rest of the day!!!! Hint: 1979, Almost the prototypical "one hit wonder", also singled with "Good Girls Don't..."
  12. The Amateur Porn/Stripper Name Generator http://rumandmonkey.com/widgets/toys/namegen/920/ Apparently Betelgeuse Thunderstick would not be my ideal name... I have been dubbed Dallas Hummer
  13. Gotta admit, it wasn't the jersey. The Habs ... well... they have sucked the bigun for the last two games. But feel free to walk around topless for the amusement of the downtrodden fans....
  14. Meg... I think I just swallowed my tongue. Red is PERFECT. It is indeed HUBBA squared.
  15. Annessa... I know when my marriage ended I was not in a good way... but as you suggested, most reasonable employers will give a little leeway when they are aware of the situation. I have watched the boards on other sites about this story... and some of the best comments were like this: "She said she was traumatized and seeing psychologists and psychiatrists as a result of being discovered but NOW the whole country knows that Gabriella Nagy is a tramp by her own admission." The whole public aspect of this case seems rather self defeating, no?
  16. Cub... I will have to let Meg make that decision... of course only in the interest of scientific research.....
  17. Soooo... we now have the scale by which we measure the Habs success. If they win tonight, my completely unscientific theory will be proven somewhat sound. If they lose, then we can blame the government or Rogers for billing errors.
  18. Sorry Mod... I filled in the info gaps. Mea culpa.
  19. It's a good thing that the ladies were questioned and not the guys... cuz if we had working names, the one-upmanship would be ridiculous. I personally would have chosen Betelgeuse Thunderstick... not that I am an annoying ghost nor does junior make a great deal of noise... come to think of it, that would be a really stupid name. I guess that is why I am not an SP... I would spend all my time figuring out my persona and not working....
  20. THUNK. That was the sound of jaw hitting desk. How can, what the.. but... umm.. ahhh.... ummm... math... 12 ... 6... ummm. That would be like .... ummm... Okay... so here's the deal. Just before I die, instead of my life flashing before my eyes, I want a concentrated version of THAT playing in my last 15 seconds. 'Nuff said.
  21. I owned the song on a 45rpm vinyl single ... (the kids are saying WTF is he talking about????) Ray Stevens - The Streak 1974... and I WAS A KID THEN TOO!!!!!
  22. I agree with you Angela... but if she got the pay-as-you-go phone, she probably would have slipped up with that too... This seems like the story line in Nurse Jackie....
  23. It is all over the Google newsfeeds today... she and her lawyer have been busy bees!!!! She started the case in December 2008, so it is unlikely that Rogers feels the need to settle, they have had the suit in hand for nearly 18 months. The story is consistent from every source, so it is likely based on a small news conference, or a published statement from her lawyer. The feedback from those news sources that have forums has not been Gabriella Nagy friendly... most commentators are giving her labels akin to our very own "idiot" or "dumb ass" Those are all the facts I was able to glean!
