  1. Hate to state the obvious but your Kilt gave you away!
  2. When I first started this hobby I went to great lengths to use techniques I thought would be required to hide my identity. I used a "burner phone" and purchased sim cards under a false name and address. I created an email address I specifically used for communicating to agencies and independents. For a period of time, I even went as far as to only use "internet cafes" or terminals available in hotel lobbies or at the airport to communicate. If I had to use the phone it would be preferably from the hotel lobby or a local pay phone. If I was required to "phone-in" to confirm an in-call address or my arrival it was from the "burner" if I had no access to a none traceable land line. After a while (a couple of years) I realized all this might be a bit of overkill and it just became very inconvenient. It was a pain to keeping my "burner" up to date and sometimes it was unreliable when on international trips. Using internet cafes are not practical any more and I have stopped using hotel business centres. Now I still use my "special" email address but don't include it in my personal phone email accounts list. I try to use my own phone for text and email only. I have alway used my real first name but never have I had to divulge my last name. However as trust grew and I realized this is really a "live and let live" industry, a couple of my favourite SPs know my last name, profession and some other personal details. Like many SPs I have my own screening process based on my own comfort zone and I rely on my own instincts and gut feel when I see someone of the first time. It has worked so far with nary a disappointment or any "drama".
  3. Saw an advertisement in a paper this morning regarding "amateur night" tonight (8 Oct). Thinking about dropping by as I have not been to Tease for ages. Guys will even receive $50 for bringing in and "amateur". Anyone attend one of these events in the past? Crowded? Good atmosphere? Comments: Unfortunately I didn't make it. I don't know how it turned out.
  4. Actually it looks like fun - a cool idea. If anyone uses this service it would be great to know how it works out. For those that invite outcalls to their home I am sure they invoke their own screening process to comply with their experiences and comfort level. More than cleaning I expect (hope).
  5. Good spas put at least 15 mins between appointments to allow for room clean up and to ensure time allotted is afforded to the client. It also allows the MA to take a quick break and refocus if she is booked back to back. Like Phaedrus stated I won't make a big deal of it with the MA if I am out the door 5-10 mins early but I won't come back. An hour is 60 mins not 50:)
  6. Congrates on 2000 and I enjoy your links to Blogasms :) Many thanks.
  7. Dicovering that the fish and chips at the Barley Mow is really good . Mill Street brew goes well too.
  8. The Minister was referring to Bill C-16 that seeks to "amend the Canadian Human Rights Act to add gender identity and gender expression to the list of prohibited grounds of discrimination." It "could" be deemed a crime to discriminate against those that do not identify against the sex in which they were born. General comment: Just as an aside from a recent survey (CBC quote) 80% of Canadians are afraid to express themselves for fear of offending someone.
  9. I saw the same piece. It was an interview with a British author about Gender Politics and the discussion also covered the notion about "trigger warnings" and how students today are easily offended and tend to live in a "protective bubble". "I think it's just becoming hypersensitive," McEwan said [author]. "I think young kids ... should be prepared to hear opinions that are not their own and should not feel threatened by opinions that are not their own." "It means thinking beyond the fragile, threatened, little bubble of the self." Also touched on the topic of using the "correct" pronoun to refer to someone. I believe our government has moved to "protect" transgendered persons to give them the right to be referred to by the pronoun of their choice. Interview can be found through this link: http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/entertainment/ian-mcewan-skeptical-of-safe-spaces-gender-politics-talk-1.3784850
  10. Blonde Doll gave some good recommendations. The clubs South of Montreal in the small towns or near the suburbs are pretty liberal. The almighty dollar speaks.
  11. A quiet night, just walked the dog and heading to bed. I know, yawn....
  12. Was at the Nuden a couple of weeks ago and had to pay extra for the feature dancer. It was "Kat the Midget Stripper". Did not know before hand and only planed an hour visit. However, since I payed $12 cover I stuck around for the show. Some patrons were really in to it and there was a good crowd. Personally it was not my "cup of tea". Good idea to bring in feature entertainers though.
  13. Hi Penelope; Welcome and enjoy LYLA. A great community with like interests. Hope your nights are getting better; we all need our sleep to operate well :) RD01
  14. It's hard to push negative thoughts away. I try "mindfulness" to focus on something around me. Focus on a part of the body or the environment around you: your core; breathing, the sun. You can try dissecting the negative thought to determine that it is not what we perceive it to be. When I find myself building up anxiety I try to rationalize and put the thought or event in the context of time and focus on the immediate future. This too will pass...
  15. becoming excellent subjects for the fripple thread
  16. For sure I agree that for less than 1% this is no way to park your money. It was purely for nostalgia reasons that I brought this up at all as CSBs were part of my life back in the day when I could double my investment over a few years. I would be happy to find any investment/stock that I could do this with today!
  17. and t-shirts on a cold day giving
  18. If something interests you on BP do some research to corroborate suspicions or pleasantly discover that the SP or MA is real. I tend to use leads through LYLA and other boards (national and international) to help with my decision making. Use web-tools such as tineye or google or consult Cowboy Kenny at: http://www.cowboysdiary.info/
