I agree with Peachka, the 23 yo who claims she is 18 may indeed be loosing out. I prefer mid-twenties at least. Although18 year-olds today are a more mature and sophisticated group on the whole than former generations at the same stage of development, a little maturity in the business seems to sit better with me. I feel the SP has thought it out well and has come to terms with social implications, real or perceived. Having said that my experience on the "white lie" front regarding age is usually someone saying they are in the late twenties when they are in the early or mid 30s. Not cool, unless they can pull it off, but understandable. It works the other way too, as clients say they are in their late 40s when actually late 50s.

Yes I have tried the room at the end of the walkway past the smaller stalls upstairs about a year ago. You enter through a door and you sit down on a couch facing a large window looking across to Obsession. If you stand up you can look down on the Nuden bar area. It is private if you are in there by yourself with a dancer. No one else entered while I was in there. Maybe an unspoken rule....

Regardless of all the talk Re cameras etc. I am in location to see a couple of old friends, well young friends. I find it is good Therapy after a long week.

Interesting discussion. Yes I have been aware of the cameras in Barb's for some time ...years. I remember one in a hanging plant a couple of years back when management was trying to be more covert. It was hanging from the ceiling about half way up the room on the DJ window side. I choose to ignore it personally, other than a couple of dancers did mention it to me as they maneuvered to choose the best booth to mitigate "privacy concerns". I took it in stride rationalizing that management would be "responsible" with the recordings. Kilt Boy's revelations do re-raise concern and to be honest I did not think about "the cloud" and the ability to store terabytes of data. I further rationalized: Who would be interested in watching such, for the most part, benign content even if deposited somewhere in the web environment? I know that is not the point here and I am not thrilled to hear that "sessions" are being shared on cellphones. Yes it would be embarrassing but we all do our own risk assessments, maybe I will have to re-evaluate my thoughts on this one. The truth is even though I find this particular monitoring somewhat evasive, the CCTV age has dulled my "spidey senses" and I have accepted the risk on this one.

I haven't done this, but if you place a kerchief on the seat beside you they will tend to leave you alone. An obvious move as dancers sometimes do this to mark their territory when they go on stage or visit the bathroom and are afraid you might be tempted elsewhere :)

Stopped in last night between 7:30 and 9:30. It was slow but the draft was good and chatting with the bartender filled the time until I hung out closer to the stage. Was approached by Victoria (Trois-Rivières) went to the CR for a half dozen songs. It was ok and she left me with a big red lipstick kiss on my cheek, with permission. Only other session was with another dancer from Montréal (dirty blonde, 5'4" ish, large breasts) - great hugs. She warned me about the red lips on my cheek and guessed right - Victoria..... A change from Barbs.
