As far as responsability goes, I don't think the youth has the right to complain for anything. If, as a responsible ''youth'', we would take care of our elders, even if it's not always easy and hard to manage, or at least make sure they have everything they need for proper living or cares, they wouldn't have to work. As far as semi-retirement goes, I see it more as someone who is just use to work. Some are like that. They stop, they die. Some entreprises are offering 65+ only work job offers. I guess there is really a need.

I will always cherish a book in a good condition. Plus, electronic devices are creating blue light, which prevents your brain to shut-off in sleep mode. If you have problems falling asleep, I would look no further than tablets, phones, tv. A good book, with proper lightning won't damage your eyes, give you headaches, and the only reason you won't sleep is because the story is really good... I'm a conventionnal reader.

I think that the best professionals to awnser any of your questions regarding a certain type of medication is your pharmacist. Not only they are aware of all undesired effects of your meds, but cannot be bias because they are not the ones to prescribe. It's easy to set-up an appointment, free, and they might be able to point out any eventual problems you may have quitting it to quickly. There are undesired effects to either take OR get off meds. I suggest you go to your regular one, as he knows if you have other meds that interacts with Lipitor. And it's a well known fact (in Qué.) that doctors and pharmaceutical companies are walking toghetter. Talk about it to your doctor, and I'm sure he'll find the proper treatment for your condition. And last and foremost, nothing replaces at least 30 mins of smooth exercise and good nutrition. Eventhough you're under treatment, those should be mandatory, espescially with high cholesterol.

We work often more than 50 hours a week for you. The only reason I don't charge 300$+ an hour (I was thinking of 350$) is because I want to keep my regular clientele. If a service provide judge that the work she's doing deserve a certain pay, who the f*** are you to judge? Do you know how long she's working in a gym, awnsering your PMs/texts/posts or else? Do you know what kind of expenses she has? Just asking why she charges that much is rude. Go and see for yourself. Look at the kind of efforts she's doing for you. And then, judge for yourself if you repeat or not. This mather should never be discussed.
