Stripper Music
LuxeMulvari replied to JohnSmith69's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
used to dance to this.... I wanna take to the champagne room and do that bang bang boom!!! ahahah huge hit.. VERY popular,,,, I don't know why there's no hip hop, when I was a dancer that's all was played, but that's probably because I danced in Windsor, Detroit and Ann Arbour. I guess people up here like different stuff :) Additional Comments: Almost forgot this one, someone dedicated this to me once and I loved dancing to it :)- 34 replies

I don't know if this is in the right section, I'm sorry if it isn't. I'm willing to offer a discount in exchange for a truck service. I need someone to pick up a bed for me from Gatineau and drop off downtown Ottawa, Bronson and Laurier area.Service is needed tomorrow, July 9th, sometime early afternoon. It is just a canopy bed frame, no mattress. It is not assembled, just pieces. It will not fit in a car, which is why i need a truck. Further details will be given upon contact. Let me know:)

For Those Born Between 1925-1970
LuxeMulvari replied to roamingguy's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
However all the people born between these times made the laws that we now have, and are the crazies who make it so dangerous now,so people born in my time, can't enjoy the things you did as a child. I wish i was alive when there was smoking allowed in restaurants, and you could ride in the back of a pickup truck, but someone from the older generation decided it was too dangerous. I would've loved to live in a time where i was allowed to go outside alone and play or play after dark, but people from the older generations started to steal kids so it wasnt safe for us anymore. As a result, parents strated keeping us indoors and gave us videos games, which were invented by older generations. I wish I could live in a time where i wasn't i.d.ed everytime i buy something, but someone from an older generation decided i wasnt safe not to know everyone exact age.I wish I didn;t have to pay all this money to go to school, but someone from the older generation decided highschool wasnt enough anymore. I wish the world I lived in didn't have wars, but people from the older generations decided to start them. I wish the world i live in didn't have racism, but the older generation decided i was ok to segregate people. I wish i didn't have food that was all instant, but being born when i was, that's now the norm, and I know my generation didnt invent the microwave or intant food. Those caps on medicines sure are annoying, but someone from the older generation decided to put poison in tylenol, so now i have to deal with them. I was born in the late 80's. I don't know life is like without computers, cell phones or google. I like the convenience of everything being instant, but it makes us kinda dumb i think. For example, i was writing a paper the other day, and wasn't finding much online, so i went to the library. I felt so stupid that i didn't know how to use the dewy decimal system to find what i needed. Another time I was at a friends house, a small get together. Everyone was on fb or texting. I was thinking ,if i wanted to interact online, i would've stayed home. I said this, and everyone wanted me to explain. I stated that people didn't always do this, when people got together they actually hung out. We all got drunk and played board games, and i was a great night. I would love to live in a time where thing were simpler and life wasn't so detached through technology, and people actually communicated face to face. I have never received a love letter n the mail nor had someone make me a mixtape on a cassette. I love the art that come with vinyl records. There's lots of things from your time that i will never experience or know, which is kinda sad. However, it's not the 80's babies faults. The baby boomers decided they wanted things faster, brighter, shinier to improve their lives, and as a result we a stuck with all the artificial substitutes (emails instead of letters, mp3 or even crappy cd's instead of vinyl that lasts forever. etc) instead of the real thing. When people from the older generations complain about how the world is today, i just reply "hey it's you world, we just live in it" We didn't make it this way, we just adapted to what we were born into and now its all we know.We didnt invent the cell phones, mp3 and videos games, they were given to us, and like all other humans before us, we use what is available to us at the time. Older generations can't really complain about us when this is the world they made us and gave us. -
I am appalled....

Even IF this judge could argue that what she was wearing was provocative and there was something implied, that all goes right out the window as soon as a woman says "no". Jeez kindergarten kids know this, if you don't someone to touch you you yell "no" and tell a grown-up. It's a scary day when my 8 year old nephew can grasp this concept better than someone who is supposed to uphold the the law with a degree. Sadly, biased law enforcement seems to be the case in this country. If you look at incarceration statistics in this country, poor people and minorities seem to get longer and harsher sentences. I think this has to with most judges coming from the higher rungs in society, and therefore cannot relate or do not have sympathy for victims or criminals who have different circumstances than them. This belief reflected in the laws concerning our line of work, there are even women groups protesting the government changing the laws so we are safer. These judges and people from the upper class cannot relate or understand why we choose to do what we do, so they condemn us as immoral and are in favour of laws that put or lives in danger. As far as they are concerned, we are not self respecting people, so we get what we deserve, just as this juges believed this woman (who was wearing a tube top and wanted to party so therefore was a "lewd" woman) got what she had coming as well. -

Race, Dating and the SP
LuxeMulvari replied to crillin's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Unfortunately there are still racist people out there. I for one have been told I am too "ethnic" or when I have had an add in the paper, upon asking if I am white and I reply no, have been hung up on or a hasty "ok thanks" click. I'm not knocking people who prefer Caucasian ladies, but they don't have to be rude to me. As far as it "being all in your head" being treated different as a minority, it's not.Unfortunately some people are still stuck in 1950 lol. The fact is, some people are still very close minded and still believe us beige/brown/red/yellow/black people are inferior to them. However, the best advice I got on this issue was from one of my professors in school a few years back. She said" You have to accept your skin is a different colour, and some people, no matter how nice, smart, funny or kind you are to them will never get past the fact you look different. You can't please everyone. So make yourself happy in knowing you're a wonderful person." That always stuck with me. I am mixed race, and I am from a place where it's VERY interracial. I judge people on how they treat me not the colour of their skin or circumstances.I don't care if you're plaid, as long as you're good to me I'll return the favour :) Even though I have had bad treatment in my life, i know that it is their issue because they close minded, and I am a beautiful person and it's their loss not mine. There's alot of wonderful people in this world who care for me and see my differences as an asset, not a reliability or a fault. So to answer your question, yes my views have changed since I entered this wonderful world, I never knew people could be so judgemental and cruel based on my skin and the way I look, but then on the other side of the coin I have never met so many wonderful people who are fascinated by our cultural differences and treat me like a rare exotic gem they are entranced by. It feels so good to be me!!!- 19 replies

Boston Brothel Archeology - 19th Century
LuxeMulvari replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
"Progressive reformers wrote of brothels as dens of iniquity, vice, depravity, and filth" Seems nothing has changed in 200 yrs lol......I find it funny how in the article the are so shocked to find these women were extra hygienic. "In the course of their work, the archaeologists have deduced that personal hygiene was of great importance to these womenâ??besides the hairbrushes, medicines, and syringes, items found included toothbrushes, hair combs, and tobacco-related items." It seems to still be trend these days, people in "normal" society, especially health care workers, seem to think that because of our line of work, we have no respect for and therefore no care for our bodies and and we are "unclean". In fact, quite the opposite is true. Ladies in our line of work usually have better sexual health and other health practices than the general population. A plumber probably takes care of his pipes better than a chef, like a chef probably takes more care not to cross contaminate when preparing food than a plumber would. So wouldn't logic only dictate a sex worker, whose main tool is her body, take care of her body with nothing less than the upmost respect and care? I'm really getting tired of these pre conceived notions of us. Personal example, I called tele-health because i was running a fever and i wanted to to know how high it should be before I went to the hospital. When i was asked my profession, i was truthful. The stupid nurse felt it was her duty to lecture me on the dangers of my work and give me advice on health practices. like the importance of the use of condoms (really? i didn't know!!) and then told me if i wanted help to change profession to cal them and they would help me. Oh how kind *rolling eyes* Like, I'm not stupid, I know how to take care of my body, I have to know BECAUSE of the work I"m in. Then an article like this comes into play, they are "surprised" these women didn't live in squalor and how much care they took care of themselves.Give me a break. Still, I don't mean to hi jack, just tied of the bias view of us, and it seems that will never change. It's cool they are studying us though. Very neat pics as well. Thanks for sharing!!!!!! -

To all the Gentlemen out there, (or maybe non Gentlemen is the right term here) If you decide that mY body type is not right for you, please keep your negative comments to yourself. I am not fat because i weigh 130 lbs. I do not appreciate being called fat because i am not a spinner. I have huge 36G tits and a nice badonkadonk......large booty in other terms. Where I am from, women with my type of body are celebrated. It is preferred to have a curvy womanly body. I do realize that i am in a different place now and the culture is different, however im sure many would agree that my body is very nicely proportioned and very sexy:mrgreen: Marilyn Monroe was a size 14, her measurements were 37-23-36,and she is arguably the sexiest woman who has ever lived. I eat well, exercise and can leg press almost 200lbs, so i am not a fat slob as someone so rudely called me. If you prefer spinners, please do not text me to tell me how pretty i would be if i lost a couple pounds, or that you would love to see me, but I am too large for your tastes. I am an East Indian woman, we are naturally very curvy there is nothing i can do about my size, not that i would change my body if i could. In my culture, curves are beauty. I am not a size zero and never will be, but I AM ONE SEXY BITCH AND I LOVE MY BODY!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen: To the mean people who insulted me,I think Beyonce said it best, "MY BODY TOO BOOTYLICIOUS FOR YA BABE!!!" An to the wonderful men out here who treat me like a queen and adore my curves, thanks for being you!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo Luscious and always voluptuous Luxie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY84MRnxVzo
