Well it is a beautiful day in the neighborhood....not typical MB weather, the weekend is almost here, my Xmas shopping is done and NO MORE SHOPPIING MALLS !! and I just had a nice chat with an SP friend who has opted not to retire :) That nasty cough of Old Dogs has brought me down a bit but I will still manage to have a great day. Get well soon OD ;)

It is not a downer at all Castle.... It is a common thing and many years I have had the same feeling particularily the couple weeks coming up to Xmas day. It can be a stressful time as well as a time when you think of family that is a distance away that you can't see.....or think of family and friends who have suffered a loss at this time of year. I have always found talking about it helps so good post Castle......you have friends here on Cerb.

Dear Bad Santa, Please read and re-read Gabby's post and letter to Santa. Take a moment of silence and visualize :) Oh...My...Good...God...Santa !!!!! Pleassseee bring Gabriella those boots and Lee a plane ticket to Montreal ! I have been ohhhh so naughty....yes I have :) Now I am going home to hang a stocking just big enough for an envelope with a plane ticket in it and of course install a chimney on my house ;) ps. One way ticket is fine.... may not survive....and....the chimney may not be up to building code but no worries you will be fine ! What kind of cookies do you like ? Milk or spiced rum and egg nog ? Awesome post Nikki :) I am involved in a few charities, but as far as Xmas I haven't embraced one particular cause as you have....which is awesome !! In the past I used to help out putting on a free meal for the homeless in the city. The last few years I have been involved in delivering turkey meals and the fixins to the elderly that can't get out or do not have any family around to spend time with. A very small gesture by us lucky folks can mean so very much to others :)

Life happens and I have had to cancel and I have been cancelled on as well.....but.....I think it is absolutely acceptable in the case of short notice cancellations, particularily without a reasonable explanation...... or a cancellation by a fella that cancels frequently in which case the other ladies hopefully will be made aware of such gentlemen. Being the location I am at, for me to happily hobby I am relying on the travelling ladies. Ladies will gamble on Brandon, some successful and some not. A cancellation or two can make or break a successful and financially feasable trip as well as a possiblility of a return visit. I have personally heard of some of the cancellations and reasons for... and it really really sucks for the ladies. I only have had to cancel once on short notice late the day before I think, felt bad, offered to pay in full by optional payment methods, but the sweet lady declined and understood and life went on. I most certainly wouldn't have had any issue on the next visit paying extra. I have had 2 or 3 sensational visits with her since....although not by conventional methods...she even fixed my ailing back on one occasion ;) Just a very acceptable business practice in my opinion

Well I like Old Dog because he is easily confused ;) and because he likes bacon and well........................ He was kind enough to be Santa Claus at the social and let beautiful ladies sit on his lap !!!!!! The selfless things you do OD ! You are Cerb's "Bad Dog" Just keep being you big guy !
