I just thought I would refresh this thread to catch anyone who missed it on the weekend. There is interest and three or four entries so far. Playoffs start tomorrow night

Good question as I sure wasn't very clear on that. I think just keep it simple 10 players ... forwards and/or defensemen No goalies 1 point for goal 1 point for assist

Hey Guys and Gals I ran a post about 3 weeks ago to see if there was interest in a playoff draft. There were some interest by the post and PM's so I will give it a shot. Could be fun. Keeps people interested in the playoffs I find, especially once their favorite team is out. Hard to have a prize for the winner in this situation but I might be able to come up with something. Keep it simple. Just pick 10 players. I will throw the teams up on Officepools and post the link when I do. PM them to me or if you prefer email let me know and I will get it to you. Wasn't sure if I could post it here. Playoffs start on Wednesday the 13th so if you could get them to me by Wednesday evening sometime that would be great. So lets give it a shot and keep your stick on the ice ! ps. Open to anyone who doesn't want to participate but would like to be an honorary Hockey Playoff Cheerleader for the 2011 playoffs. No tryouts necessary. Just must be female ! HaHa

Sorry this happened to you. Completely uncalled for and disgusting actually. I think most guys are probably like myself and don't discuss this hobby with anyone let alone within earshot of an SP. I have always been amazed at how these type of guys think they are better than the average person, they are rude and are blowbags that like to hear themselves talk. I know some of them, don't have the time of day for them and from my experience as their life goes on their friends list gets shorter. Me being "one of those guys" happens to be quite partial and fond of "you type of girls" FYI...:icon_wink: More so as I spend more time on Cerb! Good riddance to the guy my dear !!

Wouldn't it be nice if: Winter would finally take a hike and I could go boating instead of snowmobiling If Ottawa was much closer to Winnipeg/Brandon so I could meet Meg and all of you wonderfull Ottawa ladies of Cerb. I do a lot of online purchasing so I don't use my regular credit card but use a Bank of Montreal Pre-paid Mastercard. You upload to it from your bank account. It is usually on your mastercard by 6 PM the next day. There is no monthly fee. Just a charge as you use it which is very fair and not much different from a debit card. Online banking access same as a checking account / regular mastercard customer. You also collect air miles if that is your sort of thing. FYI

I understand your point for sure Nicolette. In my experience however there is probably a 50/50 ratio roughly that want emails preferably or phone calls/texts as a preference. I would say leaning more towards emails on first contact. So this is definately where you need to read ads real closely. Some say a preference, some don't indicate either preference and some actually say email me, call or text so that one is a real crapshoot as to what their preference is. First contact I typically would email. See where that takes us. Then if I don't get a reply I would then call you, text you, PM you, hire a private eye to find you, perhaps Magnum PI. If I still have no reply and you won't talk to me I would think you are maybe not interested?? :icon_wink: Additional Comments: Ahh Sophia...Good point. But isn't two heads better than one? ..lol...But yes I suppose your ladies hotness, confusion as to which head is thinking could lead to some improper reading of the basic need to follow instructions. Mistakes can happen. We are all horny...oops I mean human.

Well Apex. I appreciate your opinion and we all have just that. Our opinons and beliefs. Thats what this site is all about. I will continue to have a difference of opinion in the fact that a lady should not have to exceed expectations or be out of this world. I think if she is everything you hoped she would be and you had a great time then that is worth a reference. If that is not your thing then that is absolutely fine and I understand. For other gentlemen following this thread I would hope that you would post recco's when you have a wonderful time and you feel that you would like to let other people know that you just met a great lady. As far as recco'ing ever time, that is not expected. in my opinion By my earlier comment I meant I plan on an occasional re-recco or likely just one more after repeat visits. For myself I have met ladies without a reccomondation, and had an awesome time but I have also booked and saw a couple ladies that I probably wouldn't have but did specifically because of recco's and I am now a regular, excited, happy, and oh ya....horny.... repeat visitor when they come to town....:icon_wink: K I will now put down my gun and back away from this thread ! lol

Hey Gals and Guys. Not a post to expect any replies just had something to say. Cerb. What a cool community, great people and a great place to hang out ! My Mom had a heart attack today and was ripped to the city for surgery. For reasons I couldn't go, rest of family did and I was home here waiting for word......... Finally just got word and all is good. not your problem.....The point is I coulda done a number of things today...but....parked my ass in my office and off and on hung out on Cerb. Sounds lame I know but sex was the last thing on my mind but there are so many great people here. I read and surfed the threads. From serious threads and awesome opinions and insights, and more importantly the sharing of feelings to the witty, funny threads or shoutbox comments that brought a smile when needed. Once again....Pretty cool place to hang out! Thanx !

Well being one of the guys talking about re-recommending an SP I will clarify a bit. I have no intention to recco every time. I do however feel that it should not be halted at one recco....thats it ! As I repeat visit and the aquaintance grows, (for lack of better words) the experience gets better and better and more enjoyable every visit then yes I intend to re-recommend. Once again a refresher for some and a new recco for new members to Cerb. One more little comment for better or worse. I never compare a meeting with any SP to that of another SP. Everyone is so different that I don't feel that this is remotely something I could do. Each experience is different and I would post a recco for anyone I met with that deserves it and not wait to meet someone that is beyond expectations or meets the expectations of someone I have met with before.

Awesome post Meg FYI ! I have posted recco's the last few months but at first as a newcomer to Cerb it takes awhile to become comfortable with it until you build a little bit of presence here and familiarity. My recommendations don't go into much for graphic detail but more about the girl, the experience, the atmosphere and just how much I really enjoyed our time together. I suspect more detail would probably help you a lot more but I probably don't intend to go there. I guess I only gently push guys your way... I never really thought about re-recommending before but after reading Kubrickfan's post I think I will resolve to do that myself. Ladies I really enjoy spending time with and re-visiting with is what I look for. So re-recco'ing and refreshing an SP in peoples memory bank and promoting to new members would be a good thing.

Well Dorinda. As one of the guys that has been very lucky to meet you on a couple of occasions, believe me the pleasure was all mine!! What a great time! You are a wonderful, sincere, fun and classy lady and will be missed by many. Take care of yourself and best wishes in your "new life"

Coming from someone that has a close family and also has kids, it saddens me to see that you are going through this. It has really made me think though about what I would do in your situation. I can't help you as far as advise but wanted to express my heartfelt sadness for the hurt and disillusionment you are going through right now. I will say that although your situation is very unfortunate, your kids will benefit because they will have a proud Mom no matter what choices they make! Take care and I am sure you will make a decision that is best for you and your kids!
