I suck at budgeting !!!! But I do have a rough figure in my head I guess. I do agree with GHT it would soooooo easy to just dial the phone and spend spend spend if there is no budget in mind ! I suspect that is why there are the late night alcohol induced booty calls perhaps that you ladies have to deal with ?? I now prefer to go with less frequent visits but longer visits.....and they seem to be getting longer every time ;) So I guess I have become a quarterly budgeter...lol. Taking into consideration the economy which is good right now, the TSE index, inflation, the price of rice in China, price of gas, and well of course the "horndog factor" roughly 5 grand a year should be about right :)

Two things that really bother me in this world is... a:) inability to willingly follow very basic rules and b:) extreme arrogance. And I think both come in to play many times here. Similar to Antlerman....but was my Grandpa with whom I was very very close with ...... my parents and brothers were all away and he had a heart attack....I was able to spend the last couple hours with him and he was awake and coherent and we had a nice chat and he slowly drifted off at peace. He was the person that I got my sense of humor from :) Miss him dearly ! It was also very difficult phoning all of my immediate family members who were all on vacations and telling them that he had passed.

Just looked at calender at work and realized it is 21 months since I took any vacation days....perhaps it is time for a freakin holiday :)
