Spring and the snow melt cant arrive soon enough....!! Spring thaw and water run off reached unreal levels last year, (hight level water that hasn't been seen in decades) and there is even more snow this year. The dock is in danger of floating away this year I suspect, but we shall see..

No biggy really... I think most would agree that Pembroke and Petawawa are tied at the hip... just like Ottawa/Gatineau (Hull).

I would have to agree with Cinelli, Pembroke is a small town.. There is a few manufacturing companies there, but the pulp/paper industry seems to always on strike!!! It survives mostly due to CFB Petawawa IMO. As for Ottawa, I am a little perplexed why you are having issues, perhaps other CERBies may have recommendations. P.S. not quite sure what fierce competition is happening across the river !?! other than SClubs.. D.

As an additional insight, I have a situation that involves a neighbor, rather than a family member. In this case, he completely conjured up a story about me and I completely fell for his shenanigans, made quite the fool out of me. When it all became clear to me, I shunned him for well over a year until he made an effort to make amends... ..so I forgave.. (somewhat against my better judgment, but my personality, upbringing and religion pushed me otherwise) but not forgot.... things were civilized, but never to be as they were before. A year later, I was subjected to more antics.... (there were witnesses to the prelude of these antics this time). Needless to say he is now -persona non grata- So here I am.... is it possible to -Not forgive- ever... yes its possible... My 2c Thx for listening.

A head cold that lasted 2 weeks, and just when I thought it was over.. - followed by a head pounding sinus infection.. ( still on the meds...) now that sinus issue is mostly gone, add another head cold.. Frack..... So I am sitting here with my new best friend.. Ms Box of Kleenex..
