Use a professional hardwood flooring specialist. This is not something that should be undertaken by "novices". Use the Yellow Pages or Internet and do a little research, find a couple of companies that interest you and do a little research. Check with the BBB and ASK for references and check the references, even go and see the work if you can. When we look for an MP or SP, we usually start with CERB, checking into the ad's, reputation and references (recommendations) and then make a choice. Treat your search for flooring refinishing the same way. I can provide you with references to companies that I do business with on a regular basis. There are telemarketers with East Indian accents working the phones in the Ottawa area and likely other areas as well, pushing "solutions" for fictious computer problems. They claim to be technical support from Microsoft dealing with problems with Windows operating platforms such as Vista. They ask you if your computer is slow, locking up or acting up in general, if you say yes then they ask you to do the following "check"........Using your Windows key, they try to get you to access the Events Viewer and go into the various events logs, doing so will show a log or diary of your computer's daily activities including all kinds of warning icons!! I kept telling him that I could not find the Windows key, but he kept on going....Finally I told him what I found in the Events Viewer log, lots of warnings, fatal message icons etc......... They claim that this is proof of a virus or malware or other issue with your computer. Tell them that you have anti virus software such as Kaspersky, Norton or McAffee and they will tell you that its too late the problem is already in the computer and its going to crash real soon! They will then ask you if you want the problem fixed? if you say yes they will direct you to a site, likely onlinepccare.com or mycleanpc.com (google this site and see the responses) or something similar where you will find out the "solution" to a fast clean computer is $$$$$$$/month or year. All they want to do is a download to get access to your computer and "scrap" for personal and financial data, they want your help to "hack" into your computer and steal what they can! Stay clear of these sites, there is nothing that will help your computer "work any better" or faster! He hung up when I asked him if we could try the "check" on my Mac!!!! Rodehard

As a suggestion you could look at the SP/MP Schedule and Advertising and check the listings. Pink Kitty advertises often, has a web site, phone number and could likely tell you if she is still associated with them or not. Then you could check the Recommendation Sub forum for a review or use the search engines and go from there................ Rodehard

Its an internet advertising venue that lists items and services for sale. It is quite similar to another venue that recently removed certain categories from its list of offered services. Its also best left at that and not discussed on this board. Rodehard

Some of the more enjoyable sessions that I have had have been with an MP that I have visited on a "regular basis". This is one of the reasons why I tend to stay with the same MP, you get to know each other and its easier to talk to her about intimate details, such as the types of stimulation or teasing that you like or not bringing you to "release" quite as fast and holding things back. Sometimes a little discretionary guidance such as a "little hands on or off" may help. This served me very well in the past when communication due to a language barrier was a problem. A lot of the newer members continue to post and ask to have rates for MP's or SP's pm'ed to them. Maybe you could have a look at the suggestion that the MOD made in the post above regarding the pm'ing of rates by members to one another. Personally I do not think that you should ask other members to pm rates to you, I believe that its up to the MP or SP involved, its her livelihood and its not up to me to decide what she is going to charge another client by pm'ing a rate that maybe out of date, an expired special or a rate that was given to me as a special consideration or as a way of showing her appreciation for continuing to use her services on a regular basis. As a suggestion to Kracker09 and some of the newer members, you might be better calling or sending a pm to the MP or SP yourself. You might ask why? The rates for services may vary from client to client, especially if the MP and the client have a long standing relationship. I have had MP's that I have seen on a regular basis and I am sure that the rate that I paid may not have been the same as it would be for a new client. I believe that it is up to the MP or SP to discuss their rates with the client and not someone else to suggest what it might be. Rodehard

I think that some initial chit-chat at the beginning stages of the session will set the tone for the massage itself, it will let you know how the client is feeling. If the client responds and wants to talk he will respond in a positive manner and you can take it from there. If the conversation dies off, don't force the issue, limit it to a reminder to the client that if he has any questions or any specific needs or requests to let you know and leave it at that once the massage starts. Otherwise I would have to agree with Bethany 100% in that when I am there for an erotic or sensual relaxtion massage experience that "Silence Is Golden"! I love nothing more than the anticipation of touch, wondering whats next and getting lost in the moment. The only conversation that I would consider appropriate or welcome during the session would be that of a subtle gentle whisper in my ear of an inquiring nature as to whether the anticipated level of enjoyment was being met or not....... Broken and busted up more than once, a body that looks like road map and a little more weight (okay, maybe a lot more!) than I should be carrying........... and well over 50! Never stopped me from from having fun with the ladies! The point is that the "Big Three", a genuine attitude reflected in your smile, hygiene and respect is all you need to bring to the rodeo. Could it be because Asians have discovered creative marketing that is using the perception of the "Western or Caucasian male" that he is more likely to be pampered and treated at a "higher level or in different ways" at an Asian massage parlour than one run by Caucasian females. There is still the stereo type of the "cute, shy, submissive Asian girl" eager to please in any way that appeals to a lot of "western males". Images for example of geishas and steam bath massage attendants that are heavily reinforced by the way they have been portrayed over the years in Hollywood movies that lead to fantasies of being pampered and treated in ways that are not available in a non-Aisian massage parlour. This could also explain why so much of the advertising that markets Asian massage parlour relies on images of young sweet demure girls, so eager to please. Likely why "bait and switch" is such a problem with these businesses, it is the image and the fantasy that is being marketed and not necessarily the quality of the service. I would have to agree with Erin, we arranged our first meeting thru email and made the final arrangements by phone. I found that we were able to communicate a lot easier at first by email then by a "cold call" over the phone. I find it a lot easier to express my thoughts and feelings by writing them down along with the luxury of time to think about things. I am sure that the provider feels the same, it allows them the time to "get to know" a client. This is what is used as the lubricant for the body slides in the massage. In reality nothing more than body slides using the "Nuru" for the lubricant, hence the term Aisian style body slide. I have been to some independant MP's that have not had very clean showers and this included some who were using their own living space to operate their business and they wondered why I never returned. I do agree with comments as far as keeping the City out of it, but sooner or later they will get more involved and you know that arrangements regarding washrooms and showers will come into play with the licencing requirements. And some of the cleanest places that I have experienced were not licenced and were run but as "business" and some were "independent" I would rather deal with an independent who is discrete and maintains a clean enviroment with a clean shower and fresh towels, thats important to me. I really do not think that you can say that all commercial have dirty dingy units that you would not want to use. As an example the shower facilities at Paradise Spa are amazing, so are the facilities at ALO and many others. I would think that the majority if not all the commercial units in Ottawa have clean facilities. A lot of independents pride themselves on clean shower facilities, often they are part of their premises if they work from home and others who rent separate spaces are the same, keeping it clean keeps the clientele returning! I would think that the City of Ottawa will sooner or later come to its senses and realize that Massage Parlours are not going away and that they may as well work with them and develop a set of requirements that reflect health standards for licencing purposes and collect the money for the licences. You may want to look at Kaspersky Internet Security 2011. I have used it and the previous versions over the last few years and have had no problems. Kaspersky has "lab personnel" that deal with finding solutions to the latest malware, spyware, viruses, trojans and other issues. With your subscription, you receive constant updates to your protection data base. A lot of financial institutes that deal with money transfers are recommending it as well. I have found no "slow down" in operating speed and you can also change levels of protection as well.... Rodehard

I certainly remember the studio on Metcalfe Street. On the third floor of a dark brick walk up building with nice mature trees out front. One would think that in today's age of electronic communication devices that a response or reply back to you would have been considered "good manners". I am sure that if the SP in question had responded and said that something changed, an emergency or whatever that you would have thought that the SP was considerate, filed her away in your memory bank and moved on to someone else or "Plan B". I have dealt with a number of SP's and MP's through CERB and have never had communication problems of any kind. I even had one contact me to ask if she could postpone our appointment as "a long lost friend had just dropped in".............................. I think that you got passed over for a better deal, get over it and move on as some of the other posts have suggested. In closing I would think that this would never happen when dealing with the "older and established members of CERB". One has to remember that there are a lot of "new members" or SP's and MP's advertising with CERB that have yet to prove themselves, this way of dealing and not communicating with clients will only hurt them in the long run! I had quite the wonderful experience with a "couples massage" down south at a high end spa in Miami. If your wife, partner or significant other is "into it" and as mentioned by Meridian in his post if the masseuse is "into it" and enjoys couples it can be quite an experience for all concerned! I found myself a lot more at ease with my wife being there for some unexplained reason and as a result I probably enjoyed everything even more! Maybe because I felt that I wasn't hiding anything from her, who knows. The massesue (a real good looking woman, very casual and laid back) that we had was openly Bi and into the massage itself which made it a lot more interesting as all involved parties were all involved and no one was left feeling neglected or left out! I am sure that the RMT that you are seeing for your back problem has seen this situation before. I would imagine that part of the schooling that an RMT recieves is in dealing with unexpected "arousals and accidents" and not those just related to ejaculation. I am sure that you are not the first person to suffer this problem at the hands of an RMT and will not be the last. If you are that worried about what happened and it is bothering you that much, on your next visit with the RMT discuss it with her. You are both adults and she is a trained professional and I am sure that she will put your mind at ease. You may find that she wants to discuss what happened and assure you that its okay, but may not want to raise the subject so as to not make you feel any more embarassed than you think you are over what happened. I would continue to see her and hope that you understand that if the truth were know and more people were honest that this problem happens all the time and is dealt with and people move on. While pit bulls are banned in Ontario, they are not banned in Quebec. In my opinion it should have been the owners, not the dogs who were banned! That being said, the reason that I suggested Kijiji to Karine is that it is a "Canada Wide" advertising venue viewed in a lot of areas including Quebec and not just Ontario and often linked to areas in the northern United States. Pit Bulls are not banned every where. E-Bay would be another suggestion as well. If you have not done so Karine, I urge you to post an ad on Kijiji and/or other similiar venues, the sooner that you do and get some exposure, the sooner your "babies" will find a good home. Hi Karine I am the owner of two large German Shepherds. older mature dogs, but still needing a lot of attention, so I can understand your problem. As a suggestion, Kijiji Ottawa has a good section for those that want to sell/place dogs. You can post pictures and have interested parties respond to an email address so you will not be bothered with nuisance phone calls. Its very easy to post and no charge at all unless you want to place a "headline ad". I have had good results with Kijiji, hope this suggestion might help. Rodehard
