My first clue this might be junk science is that it is from Fox News. But that's just my opinion. But does anyone else find it disturbing that, assuming Fox believes it, they filed it under Entertainment? And I loved Emily's links.

Got the opening and closing paragraphs written as well as the poem written for the family Christmas letter. This letter's been written every year since 1949 by my mother. Due to her advancing dementia this is the second year we "kids" have ghost-written it. We agreed that as long at Mom and Dad are alive there will be a letter. I do my bits. My sister edits it. My brother sees to printing and distribution. Dad signs the finished product. That this needs to be done sucks (rather than her being able to do it) I'm honoured to be able to help.

Photo's- what's right/wrong
bcguy42 replied to CristyCurves's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Correct. Posting something on the Internet does not affect the rights of the copyright holder. That would be you if you took your own picture. Under the concept of "fair use" or "fair dealing", a person can copy that picture for their own personal use. Canadian law has explicitly allowed this since 1999. They can't sell, trade or otherwise claim ownership of the image. There is also a "research" exemption. I suspect reposting copyrighted images in the "Best of .." threads could be considered research. :) I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure posting a copyrighted image and claiming it is you is a violation of copyright law. -
Were I looking for this service, I would go to the SP advertising section for a city and, using the Forum Search feature, search for the word "dancer". There are a few SPs in Ottawa that mention this option in their ads.

I guess in a perverse way that could be taken as a complement that so many women prefer Keissy' s picture to their own. A complement Keissy would like to decline I'm sure.

Have you ever had a threesome MMF ?
bcguy42 replied to Eva Laperle's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I've experienced MMF both with friends and in a professional setting. In all cases there was MM interaction. As previously noted this creates a whole new bunch of possibilities. I'm not sure I could do a non-interactive MM thing. I'd giggle too much. -
Yet Another Note On Etiquette
bcguy42 replied to Kate von Katz's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Seriously? The fundamental stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me. I tend to think of "etiquette" as that which tells me which fork to use next. This guy appears to have missed all the bits about human decency. I'm glad to hear you were able to send him on his way! -
A La Carte Rates
bcguy42 replied to HarveySpecter's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
"All Inclusive" doesn't include anything with the chickens or goats. Ever. Ok.. there was this one person in Indiana... never mind. Seriously, if there is something you want and you cannot determine from her website or ad if it's included, if it's important to you, it's important to ask! -
Let me preface this by stating I am totally against cyberbullying. Listening to discussions about the law, I heard a lot about the onus being on the poster to prove that the subject of the image consented to the distribution. That got me thinking about "best of" threads and blogs. Presumably the person reposting the image knows not with any degree of certainty under what circumstances the picture was taken and what consent was given. With that in mind what is the status of the reposter in this circumstance? I don't foresee a massive police crackdown here. Just wondering. Plus, I suppose ot becomes one of those things The Crown can throw at you if you make it a practice to piss off authority.

Okay. You're batting .500 now. How do you find out who is real? Well, everyone on CERB is real. I suspect what you're looking for is who is real good for you. Read the ads. Find a couple of people who's ads spark your interest. Go to the Recommendation section for your city and read up on them. Visit their website. Still think you've found a good fit? (Pun intended) Contact her by whatever means she's indicated - PM, email, text, call - let her know you're interested, why, a general sense of what you're looking for and (having checked her schedule if one is posted) is she available for such a time on such a day. And Bob's your uncle (though if he's coming too, it'll cost extra.) With regards to having a good experience with CERB, if you do you homework, to paraphrase, the odds will ever be in your favour.

Loneliness - a virtual hug
bcguy42 replied to Nathalie L's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Oh, so straight to the heart, Nat. This is hard to write. I get through my days for the most part by acting as if I do not feel alone. Things are just simpler if you and him and her and those people over there don't know I feel this way. I'll deal with it. Then something like this comes along and I am confronted with the fact. And, for a few moments, cannot avoid it. And having said that, I'll get back to doing what I do. So few words... so hard... there's always "delete'. -
Thank you message?
bcguy42 replied to Fresh start's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
It never occurred to me to NOT send a thank-you email. From my perspective, something amazing just transpired and it seems only natural to thank the other person for helping to make that happen. No reply is expected but I get a kick out of the ones I've received. The only case where I can thing of a provider being annoyed by ta hank-you would be if the writer decided to relive the entire experience, blow by blow so to speak and ended up writing the Great Canadian Memoir. Short and sweet seems best. :) -
How SPs manage time in a session
bcguy42 replied to j-theperson's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
Oh, and a handy little tip. Do not roll over and grab that phone by the bed to check the time. I'm in the habit of doing this at home. Momentarily forgot where I was once with a dear lady and picked up the wrong phone. I've never seen her move so fast! I apologized at the time and I apologize again. I made a mental note to never, ever touch any phone, even my own, until I'm headed for the door. -

Suite Escapes expressed it very well. Just continue to follow the provider's cues. That way lies happiness. -
any Sp on BP who offers cum on face?
bcguy42 replied to pandacrazy's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
Maybe run an ad on BP requesting this? I'm pretty sure you'd get lots of responses. -
I'm not in Halifax so I cannot comment directly on the point of variety in the area other that to say there are more than a few advertisers there I find very attractive. But as a comment to the general drift of some of the responses, I'm sensing a bit of the greener grass / fence thing. And, for me personally, if a person charges any given rate, that's the cost of admission I will gladly pay. And if it makes her (or him) feel more secure to know my grandmother's maiden name, I will gladly supply it. My intentions are to get naked with someone and they are going to have their teeth very close to a very sensitive part of me so there has to be a level of trust. If that trust isn't there, neither am I. But that's just me...

I can remember when I was a young kid wanting to be a super spy with a decoder ring and everything. Early in my university days I concluded I was going to become a United Methodist (United Church here in Canada) minister. I had a seminary picked out to the point that I had their course catalogue, was working on figuring out how to pay for it, and was assisting a pastor in conducting alternative worship services in small churches in small towns in the area. Clearly, that didn't happen! Years later I took a course in Electronics Engineering. I was recruited out of school by a company doing something that we had spent part of one afternoon studying. I spent the rest of my professional career in that field. I enjoyed it, got to see the world, and it brought me to Canada. Now I spend my working time doing something totally unrelated to all of that and love it. Now the world comes to see me. The OPs original question is something I've always been curious about, too. I've made it a point to ask people along the way and found very few people is the same career for which they'd studied. I'm looking forward to the other responses in this thread.

White "peace" poppies
bcguy42 replied to Meg O'Ryan's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Based on some of the comments, I'm not sure too many people followed Kathryn Bardot's links to the White Poppy history. Following that link lead me to others which resulted in the following letter being sent: Dear Mxxx, Though you couldn't prove it based on the email I've not sent, you and Pxx are often in my mind. In Canada, Veteran's Day is known as Remembrance Day. As with a lot of things here that are done differently than in the US, to me, this makes sense as remembering is sort of the point to it all. A chat site I read had a discussion going on about White Poppies versus Red Poppies. I followed a link from one of the comments to an article which linked me to another site that had "Willie McGee" playing in the background which got me to trying to remember the exact lyrics which took me to another site which took me to YouTube (still following me?) which took me to the song "I Was Only 19". Have you heard of it? Although it was written by an Australian and references the ANZAC troops, memories of some things you've told me came back when I listened to it. If you've not heard it, it is here: And if you've not heard it and you listen to it, you might want to have a good drink near to hand when you do. Something to toast old memories with. All of which got me to thinking... Jesus! We were all so young, such kids then. How we all of us managed to survive our own idiocies long enough to start worrying about arthritis is beyond me. But we did. I'm glad you and Pxx are still here. And thank you for your service, both military and socially since then. Someone needs to tell you that every now and again. Remembrance Day seems an appropriate day to do so. Take care... And I wish to pass along the same thanks to all those others who have served or are serving! -
This link is to an article about something that once you think about it it makes sense that this can happen but isn't something you think of right away. By which I mean your insurance company may rummage through your social media if you file a claim. The moral of the story is that anything you post under certain circumstances can and will be used against you. http://www.edmunds.com/auto-insurance/car-insurance-companies-use-facebook-for-claims-investigations.html

I occasionally use cialis with varying effects. Tried viagra but it essentially didn't work. I find that cialis works best if I take it 12 hours in advance. And yes, for me the effects can last up to 36 hours so simply thinking vaguely randy thoughts can result in another boner. YMMV of course.

This is dead simple. I don't discuss my CERB life with anyone who is not already on CERB. So the "opportunity" to share phone numbers does not come up. And if someone were to ask me anything vaguely related to the activities available through CERB, I would suggest they visit cerb.ca. I think it is covered under "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I don't pass on numbers, addresses, or anything else and I presume those that I have met here act similarly.

It comes to mind that your probably won't get much feedback from those who have truly retired and stayed retired since, in all likelihood they are not here. Retirement crosses my mind now and again. Usually it comes up when I am feeling realistic and depressed. But then it passes and I remain - I hate the term "in the game" - here.

You may be right. But then again, she might be hinting she wants some extra guy-time. Discuss amongst yourselves.

I hear you, Cleo. I guess a good analogy to what I was saying is that sometimes it is easy to lay on the beach, eyes closed, enjoying the rays and the sound of the surf and, for a bit, forget about the sharks and jelly-fish swimming just off shore. And I get that in any population, there will be the strangest of folks - and not in a good way. Now that you mention it, the scariest guy I've interacted with in the last 30 years was here. Former member. Don't miss him. So yeah, if it makes you safer to require me as a prospective client to touch my left ear with my right thumb while humming God Save The Queen, I'm gonna start humming! :) Additional Comments: My dad taught me that if you keep poking that hornet's nest with a stick, you're gonna get something and it's not gonna be pretty. I'm gonna hazard a guess that there was one poke too many here - and there was a well deserved response.
