where else do look or advertise?
bcguy42 replied to clearlycanadian7583's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
CERB. When I'm in other cities I will check their "local listings" or xERB if there is one but my preference is to find that city's section here. -
For me, it is easy to see CERB as a community mostly populated with caring, intelligent, adult men and women. And then a comment like Cleo's catches my eye and it's like walking into a cold shower. And I remember that even here there are bound to be a few card-carrying asshats. When I read things like that I am surprised, on some level or the other, that providers even open their doors to us. But I'm happy they do! :) Note: The previous comment was not specifically aimed at anyone participating in this discussion or any other.

I'd like a provider to correct me but especially in this area it can and IMHO must be by the provider's rules.

Providers "rudely" refusing to answer blocked calls? Probably the same ones that "rudely" refuse to see drunk clients. Really? Her life. Her rules. Are people actually getting "spammed" by ladies and agencies? Hmm... news to me. I guess I'm not understanding these threads that question provider's rules. Every person and business sets basic rules for contact. Part of life. Get past it. My two-bits worth.

Regarding the two-lady scenario I think that would be a Duo. :-)

Chatubate! Sorry... couldn't resist it. Continue. Oh, and let me know where and when, too!

Because of what I do for a living, I can't afford to collect points. However, there is a stretch of road near my house that has always been 80 kph. A couple of years ago they knocked it back to 70. I got nicked at 85 when I forgot about the change. Got 3 points. They just fell off my record this year. The first time I drove in Canada was on the 401 from Detroit to London. I was doing 120. Getting passed like I wasn't moving. Up to 130. Same. 140. Now I'm keeping up. Glance in the rear-view and a cop pops over the hill behind me. Crap. No. What? He passed me?? I stopped at the next service centre and asked. I was told as long as I was going in a straight line, they didn't care. Start weaving through traffic? Nail you in a heartbeat. So I proceeded accordingly. That was back in the early 80s. Before some of you were born. Crap. Now I'm gonna go back to my corner, sip some gruel and feel old!

I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S3 and yup, the voice thing is awesome. I was a BB user for years but discovered a whole new feeling of liberation when I moved to the Samsung. If you really want to play with your phone in traffic, get a bluetooth device. Most bluetooth devices are those things you see in people's ears as they walk down the sidewalk looking like they are talking to Jesus or whoever. But there are bluetooth things you can get that standalone in your car - visor, dash, whatever. The advantage of these things is you can hear who the call is before you answer it and you answer it via voice commands (depending on the device you get). I have a BlueAnt Q3 in combination with my Samsung and I can place calls, answer them, send texts, open apps all without touching my phone - wave at the nice policeman sitting next to you. :)

Ah, what the heck... everyone else has had a kick at this can. Here's my contribution. The point is continually being raised that a business cannot discriminate on the basis of race (among other things). That is more or less true. There are exceptions that have nothing to do with forcing someone to have sex with someone. Housing. Cannot discriminate. Period. Wrong. If you operate a rooming house where you reside and the persons to whom you rent share common areas and a common dining area, you are deemed to be personally living with these people and can therefore pick and choose, using whatever criteria floats your boat, to determine to whom you will accept. In this circumstance, discrimination is legal. That being said, add my name to the list of people who wholeheartedly support the notion that no person under any circumstances is required to have sex with anyone against their will. The other random thought that comes to mind is that in my experience, nothing in law is absolute. One may think generally the law holds one way, but the key word there is "generally". There are always loopholes. That's why God, in her infinite wisdom, created lawyers.

Watch this. I'm going to make a straight line between war rape and the Canadian Census. From a CTV news story: The federal government will not fund overseas projects that give victims of rape during war or child brides access to abortions, International Development Minister Christian Paradis said Friday. After a meeting of the Canadian Network on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, Paradis said the government will continue with the funding guidelines it announced at the G8 summit in Muskoka three years ago. In pledging $3 billion for maternal and child health initiatives at the close of the summit, Harper said projects that provide abortion services would be excluded because there were so many other important projects to support. My first thought on hearing this news was that this was a bit churlish on the part of the Harper Government. Then it occurred to me maybe they were being sensitive to taxpayers who do not want their taxes paying for something they have moral qualms about. But then there is the 89 year old lady being hauled to court because she objects to filling out a census form that will be processed using software from Lockheed Martin, a major arms manufacturer. She has moral qualms about supporting Lockheed. So I guess the whole moral qualm thing only works if your morals match those of the Harper Government's.

I second CaptJag's suggestion. There have been a couple of times where I wanted to go somewhere off my beaten track. Establishing a bit of communication (email, PMs) gave me enough of a comfort zone to bring up my ideas. I'm pretty sure that almost anything you can think of, she will be willing to discuss, even if it is only to gently decline. Deep breath. Go for it!

Are you ready to meet a provider? The Cerb test.

Your mind works in a very odd manner to have noticed that. The good news is that this is a condition with which one can thrive. At least, I've been able to low these many years! lol -
While I agree with your intent, that good sessions should result in good recommendations (if the provider agrees - some don't), I'm a little taken aback by your approach. I'm taking myself back in time to when I first started here. I've got to learn the rules and the etiquette so I don't come across as the bumbling fool I'm afraid I might be. Now I've finally figured out who I want at the helm of my maiden CERB voyage. Gotta learn the details on how to arrange, present myself, conduct myself, and gracefully exit. Done. And now I should get my ass kicked if I don't write a recommendation? Seriously? I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess you didn't write this with newbies in mind. I agree with your un-selected choice of a gentle reminder to the more experienced members. But I can't quite shake the idea that there are one or four newbies reading this thread asking "WTF?" The above reflects only my uniformed opinion and no one else's. And who knows. I might disavow them tomorrow.

Same brother called this morning. Mom woke up, had breakfast and is entertaining friends. Go figure. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and wishes. We shall see what the morrow brings...

Yup... doing that. She's 89. We had 88 really good years (ok.. I didn't have all 88 since I'm not that old.. but you get what I mean). I've learned a lot from her and she left me a clear path to follow. She's a writer and a poet and right now I'm remembering a poem she wrote in February, 1957 on the passing of her mother. There is a line in it that goes something like "And so I do not fear Death for what is Death but a door through which she has passed before me". And speaking of rain, she wrote the following: The rain falls on the just and the unjust. But why do the unjust always seem to have umbrellas? I like it...

My brother called this morning. My brother who never calls. The one who lives in town with my parents. Mom has gone into a nonresponsive state. She's done this before but the doc thinks this may be it. If her situation changes she won't be getting better. There is no "better" to get to. We agreed there's no point in traveling right now. As he put it, there's no possibility of meaningful interaction. So I'm keeping Air Canada on speed dial. My mood matches the weather.

Remember we all love fresh air!

I'm guessing this might be a factor why YMMV. Just saying. .. -
I'm driving the shuttle for a fund-raising event tonight. I know the man who started the event and the touchingly tragic story of his daughter that was the impetus for this annual event. I've driven shuttle for it in previous years. My company is donating the bus rental time to the fund. As I was waiting for the first group of riders to get organized I got to thinking about it all and ... My contact for the event now has a cash donation equal to the amount I will be paid for doing the runs. That only seems right. And if it delays the next installment in my hobbying experience, do be it. Seeing the contact's face light up when I explained what I was doing was worth it. Description about the whys and wherefores of the event from CBC Radio: http://www.cbc.ca/player/Radio/Local+Shows/Ontario/ID/2407518593/ The website for the foundation: http://jaimiesinternship.ca/

I second the suggestion to check out websites. Many of the fine women here on CERB either reference this look on their site or have photos with this look. Also, check out albums here on their profiles. There are a lot of talented people here that would like to play along with you! :) Additional Comments: I second the suggestion to check out websites. If, as stated, this is a tradition that has gone on for years, how does the President of UBC express dismay as though this comes as brand new news to him?

Interesting topic. I fall into the both seeing regulars and trying the new now and again camp. A while ago, in a fit of boredom or whatever, I listed all of my sessions and who with and how often. I found that 42% of my sessions were with one very fine lady. She and I got a chuckle out of that since 42 is, to me, an interesting number. The remaining 58% were, with a couple of exceptions, one or two time visits with other fascinating people. For the most part, I consider it all time and money well spent. I suspect if I sit down in a year and do that exercise again, the numbers will be similar. Regularity and variety. A wonderful mix.

Ummm... of the two just previous, I'd go with Malika's.

Peachy (http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/member.php?u=18359) makes mention of a sex swing on her web site. I would suggest that you contact her for more detailed information.
