I am trying to sort out which "name" you want to change. There are potentially three "names". For Windows 7, your computer has a name you can change - Control Panel System Advanced System Settings Computer Name Change You mention the name is in the path. This would be the user name as in (if I created a user named BCGuy42) C:\users\BCGuy42\precious.doc. To change that one, create a new user on your system (Control Panel - User accounts) with the desired name. As previously noted, move your docs to this new user. The third possibility is the "author" defined in your Microsoft Office install. Changing that is as simple as File, Options in any open Office file. Does any of that help?

There is so much more that could have been done with this story. How about highlighting the way that intelligent, entrepreneurial women are running their own successful businesses. I mean seriously, isn't that what society exhorts us all to do - get off our bums and make a success of ourselves? Sadly, in a fashion more in keeping with the Sun chain of news-rags, they went for the "OMG! The ------s are coming! Hide the women and children!" If you somehow missed the sensationalist bent to this, go back and watch the last couple of minutes of the "news" story. Their next segment will be about two (2) women who were assaulted thereby showing the business is deadly! Two women out of the hundreds they alluded to in the first story. Yup Note: I do not diminish the danger the women face in this business. It is real and I would do anything I could to lessen it. I'm just torqued at the way they handled the whole thing.

A couple of entries back Charlotte mentioned $1500 in reference to possible lost income from a longer appointment. It would appear that this was misread as a potential cancellation fee. With that we will rejoin the discussion which is already in progress.

Comes with the territory of being a discretionary expense. And yes, we get the same guys calling us and trying to bargain down our rates. I've heard our dispatcher hang up on people who were too insistent on lowering the rates. Let me add my voice to the others who said stick by your prices. Your time is worth what you say it is. Hang in there and only accept clients that you feel good about accepting. Both you and the client will enjoy the ride a whole lot more that way. At least, that's how it works in my industry.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and surmise that some folks tend to start a thread wherever they are. As you noted this area has a lot of traffic so stray posts happen.

Just some musings here but music, which used to arrive (and once again is arriving) on vinyl somehow made it through 8-tracks, cassettes, and CDs to the iTunes model. Main-stream movies morphed through laser disks to VHS to DVDs to Blu-ray to various pay-downloads. In each instance, there were and are free ways to get those products but those who would make money from those products have found ways to do it. Porn has gone from grainy 8mm movies to X-Rated movie houses to VHS tapes to DVDs to the present online pay model. Times will change and people who want to make money with porn will come up with the next great thing. To address the OP question. No, I don't pay for porn, I know too many free sites. :) Would I? Depends on what value-added they came up with. Speaking of which, whatever became of Smell-O-Vision?

This "news" sort of hits me like the "news" that water is wet. If you are going to take your browser into that territory, if you don't have good anti-virus and ant-malware installed, we will most likely never see you again. And don't even think about going someplace offering "free" passwords or keygens. 104 out of 100 of those have some nasty riding along with the promised goody.

Can a guy suck a cock and still be heterosexual? Since heterosexual is simply defined as being attracted to the opposite sex, to me the answer is yes. Even if you expand the definition to being primarily attracted to the opposite sex. Or even exclusively to the opposite sex. One can be attracted one way and perform an action in another way. One of the things that bothers me about some responses to this thread is the evident heterosexism, a discrimination or prejudice against homosexuals on the assumption that heterosexuality is the norm. In this instance, demonstrated by the position that performing a homosexual act (an act between two people of the same sex) invalidates one's qualifications as a heterosexual. To me, the simple answer to the original question is yes. I am also aware that there are people to whom the answer is an emphatic no and if those people are important to me, I probably should not tell them what I did last Friday or whatever.

Every year since the kids have been old enough to pick something up and put it in a basket, the Easter Bunny has left a trail of jelly bean Easter Eggs from their bedroom door downstairs to the dining room table where their Easter treats awaited them. Our last child still living at home is buying a condo and moving in May. The Easter Bunny (that's me) just finished laying out the last trail. That would be one of those milestones you don't see coming until it is here. I marked the occasion by getting gourmet jelly beans. Sigh....

Reading through this thread brings to mind an issue I ran into with wifi. Some places have filters on their wifi that block CERB access. Is that still an issue or is that still in place? Can a tablet running on wifi provide access to here? Just curious.
