Never heard that version. house of the rising sun is one of my favorites for sure. Once seen a one man band perform it and the guy nailed it. guitar, cymbals on his knees, banging drums with his feet and a harmonica. I'm pretty sure it's a public domain song too - you could record it with full royalties :) - think it's original form is very old - 1800's old. apparently they had houses of the rising sun then too ...

Wow - sorry to read this. You should in no way have to put up with anything like you've described. I guess for whatever reason, there are freaks out there. It's all good to have a buddy or a dog, or both, within yelling distance but you should also have something near by. I would just assume that there is some mace, a tazer, a big stick with a nail in it ... something stashed near by - if not you may want to consider it. The big stick with a nail in it may be hard to conceal .... could go with a small stick but it wouldn't have the same effect ... Take care

I'll grab a bass and sit back with a solitary jam type thing. Play whatever ends up coming out - sometimes blues, sometimes jazzy type stuff or sometimes I'll get the funk out. I find I can loose myself and end up an hour or two later feeling all warm and fuzzy. 1st post on here - yay me :)
