Who wants to go to Gliese 581???
Loralee Reach replied to Loralee Reach's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
All right Sara....you do not have to tell everyone that we came from there...right? after all the gentlemen here will start to wonder if we are "normal", I mean, fit for earth with all the parts of an earth woman..... And I already have my ED who is willing to accompany in the trip and "populate" the planet, right my sweet ED???????? -
Odds of life on new found Earth-size planet '100 per cent,' astronomer says Module body Thu Sep 30, 10:57 AM Jeanna Bryner An Earth-size planet has been spotted orbiting a nearby star at a distance that would makes it not too hot and not too cold - comfortable enough for life to exist, researchers announced today (Sept. 29). If confirmed, the exoplanet, named Gliese 581g, would be the first Earth-like world found residing in a star's habitable zone - a region where a planet's temperature could sustain liquid water on its surface. [Illustration of planet Gliese 581g.] And the planet's discoverers are optimistic about the prospects for finding life there. "Personally, given the ubiquity and propensity of life to flourish wherever it can, I would say, my own personal feeling is that the chances of life on this planet are 100 percent," said Steven Vogt, a professor of astronomy and astrophysics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, during a press briefing today. "I have almost no doubt about it." His colleague, Paul Butler of the Carnegie Institution of Washington, in Washington, D.C., wasn't willing to put a number on the odds of life, though he admitted he's optimistic. "It's both an incremental and monumental discovery," Sara Seager, an astrophysicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, told SPACE.com. Incremental because the method used to find Gliese 581g already has found several planets most of the known planets, both super-Earths, more massive than our own world outside their stars' habitable zone, along with non-Earth-like planets within the habitable zone. "It really is monumental if you accept this as the first Earth-like planet ever found in the star's habitable zone," said Seager, who was not directly involved in the discovery. Vogt, Butler and their colleagues will detail the planet finding in the Astrophysical Journal. The newfound planet joins more than 400 other alien worlds known to date. Most are huge gas giants, though several are just a few times the mass of Earth. Stellar tugs Gliese 581g is one of two new worlds the team discovered orbiting the red dwarf star Gliese 581, bumping that nearby star's family of planets to six. The other newfound planet, Gliese 581f, is outside the habitable zone, researchers said. The star is located 20 light-years from Earth in the constellation Libra. One light-year is about 6 trillion miles (10 trillion km). Red dwarf stars are about 50 times dimmer than our sun. Since these stars are so much cooler, their planets can orbit much closer to them and still remain in the habitable zone. Estimates suggest Gliese 581g is 0.15 astronomical units from its star, close enough to its star to be able to complete an orbit in just under 37 days. One astronomical unit is the average distance between the Earth and sun, which is approximately 93 million miles (150 million km). The Gliese 581 planet system now vaguely resembles our own, with six worlds orbiting their star in nearly circular paths. With support from the National Science Foundation and NASA, the scientists - members of the Lick-Carnegie Exoplanet Survey - collected 11 years of radial velocity data on the star. This method looks at a star's tiny movements due to the gravitational tug from orbiting bodies. The subtle tugs let researchers estimate the planet's mass and orbital period, how long it takes to circle its star. Gliese 581g has a mass three to four times Earth's, the researchers estimated. From the mass and estimated size, they said the world is probably a rocky planet with enough gravity to hold onto an atmosphere. Just as Mercury is locked facing the sun, the planet is tidally locked to its star, so that one side basks in perpetual daylight, while the other side remains in darkness. This locked configuration helps to stabilize the planet's surface climate, Vogt said. "Any emerging life forms would have a wide range of stable climates to choose from and to evolve around, depending on their longitude," Vogt said, suggesting that life forms that like it hot would just scoot toward the light side of that line while forms with polar-bear-like preferences would move toward the dark side. Between blazing heat on the star-facing side and freezing cold on the dark side, the average surface temperature may range from 24 degrees below zero to 10 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 31 to minus 12 degrees Celsius), the researchers said. Are you sure? Supposedly habitable worlds have been found and later discredited, so what makes this one such a breakthrough? There's still a chance that further observations will dismiss this planet, also. But over the years, the radial velocity method has become more precise, the researchers point out in their journal article. In addition, the researchers didn't make some of the unrealistic assumptions made in the past, Seager said. For instance, another planet orbiting Gliese 581 (the planet Gliese 581c) also had been considered to have temperatures suitable for life, but in making those calculations, the researchers had come up with an "unrealistic" estimate for the amount of energy the planet reflected, Seager pointed out. That type of estimate wasn't made for this discovery. "We're looking at this one as basically the tip of the iceberg, and we're expecting more to be found," Seager said. One way to make this a reality, according to study researchers, would be "to build dedicated 6- to 8-meter-class Automated Planet Finder telescopes, one in each hemisphere," they wrote. The telescopes - or "light buckets" as Seager referred to them - would be dedicated to spying on the nearby stars thought to potentially host Earth-like planets in their habitable zones. The result would be inexpensive and probably would reveal many other nearby potentially habitable planets, the researchers wrote. Beyond the roughly 100 nearest stars to Earth, there are billions upon billions of stars in the Milky Way, and with that in mind, the researchers suggest tens of billions of potentially habitable planets may exist, waiting to be found. Planets like Gliese 581g that are tidally locked and orbit the habitable zone of red dwarfs have a high probability of harboring life, the researchers suggest. Earth once supported harsh conditions, the researchers point out. And since red dwarfs are relatively "immortal" living hundreds of billions of years (many times the current age of the universe), combined with the fact that conditions stay so stable on a tidally locked planet, there's a good chance that if life were to get a toe-hold it would be able to adapt to those conditions and possibly take off, Butler said.

Surrey County Mulls Livestock to Limit Public Sex Source: Gadling Posted: 10/02/10 2:05PM Filed Under: Travel No trip to Surrey County, it seems, is complete without a little outdoor sex. The thrill of pull-your-hair-out-ecstasy intimacy under the stars ... or the sun, or a neighbor's watchful eye ... is apparently too enticing to pass up. I'm not sure what makes Surrey such a desirable location, but county residents are looking to change it. More than 300 Puttenham residents have written to the county council that "a field near the Hog's Back lay-by on the A31 was 'being used for all kinds of sexual activity night and day' by doggers." cyberuly, Flickr.com The complaints have some legitimacy, as the prime sex spot is visible from the Puttenham Church of England Infant School. The council won't shut down the rest area and nearby café, so as not to deprive "legitimate visitors," but they are ready to deploy an unlikely ally in chasing the doggers away: livestock. The thinking isn't clear, but it's seems safe to assume that the presence of bulls would make the spot less attractive to public frolickers. The locals aren't buying it. According to the Telegraph : Speaking about the idea of putting bulls into the field to deter the doggers, Mrs Perkins said: "I have to say that some of the comments from the cabinet were quite frightening, such as the suggestion to put bulls in the field. "What a ridiculous idea." Local Sarah Green, 32, said today: "How the council can sit there with straight faces and suggest putting a herd of bulls in a field to stop people having sex in it is almost too ridiculous to contemplate. Meanwhile, county council leader Dr. Andrew Povey calls the use of bulls as a solution "viable," unlike other "mad ideas." Since other measures aren't likely, it appears that this Surrey spot will continue to attract sexual thrill-seekers. My advice: do it at night. There's a school nearby.

Sex site scams.....making it BIG....$$$$$$$ Watch out guys... A high-tech scheme by Internet sex sites has more than a thousand Canadian Web surfers complaining that they've been duped into making long distance telephone calls, some amounting to as much as $4,400. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are currently investigating pornographic Web sites that employed a special program to surreptitiously disconnect users from their Internet service providers and redirect their calls through Moldova, a republic in the former Soviet Union. Through a tangled series of international connections, the program boomeranged calls from at least 1,200 unsuspecting Canadian users back from Moldova to a Web site in Dallas, Texas, racking up pricey long distance charges for the users in the process, according to Canadian police. At least two Web sites--"sexygirls.com" and "erotic2000.com"--used the program to make international calls. Neither site is accessible anymore. Although no one has been charged yet in the investigation, the scheme is reminiscent of similar efforts by "dial-a-porn" operations in the early '90s which bilked callers by failing to warn them of per-minute charges or by keeping the meter running while people sat on hold waiting for sex recordings. While the Federal Trade Commission and telephone companies cracked down on "900" and "800" number scams, many dial-a-porn operations simply switched to international phone numbers to avoid U.S. restrictions. For-pay pornographic Web sites are widely available on the Internet, but most require that users pay for dirty pictures or video clips with credit cards. The Canadian case is unique because users were not required to submit their credit card numbers before viewing porn. Instead, the sex site made money by taking a percentage of long distance calls, calls that many users felt they were cheated into making. Corporal Marc Gosselin, an investigator with the Montreal computer crime unit, said that "sexygirls.com" was able to convince users to download the program by saying it was required to view the pictures. Once a user configured the program, called "david7.exe," it silently disconnected them from their ISP, turned off their modem volume, and dialed Moldova. The call was then directed back to a server hosted in Dallas, Texas, and users would later be billed for a long distance call by their phone companies. "Even when you leave the sex site, you stay connected to a long distance call," said Gosselin. "Even if you shut [your browser] down, you are still connected. The only way to get rid of the connection is to turn your modem off or reboot your computer." Gosselin said that Canadian police alone have received 1,200 complaints from users in Quebec for telephone charges ranging from $4 to $4,400. He could not estimate how many other users from the United States or other Canadian provinces were affected. "We need to work with phone companies to understand the losses," he said. The Canadian police are currently investigating a company based in Scarborough, Ontario, for running the "sexygirls.com" site, and Gosselin said the company could be charged with fraud. He declined to name the company. The police may also look into another Web site, "erotic2000.com," that is using the david7.exe program. However, that site, accessed today by CNET, included a link to a disclaimer that warns users of the call to Moldova, so it's unclear whether the site can be charged with fraud. "By downloading our image viewer software, your modem will disconnect from your ISP and will be automatically reconnect to a remote site where international long distance charges to Moldova apply," the disclaimer reads. Nevertheless, the National Fraud Information Center posted a warning about "sexygirls.com" on its Web site on Monday. The NFIC is a project of the National Consumers League and affiliated with the Federal Trade Commission. It has warned major carriers in the United States about the Molodva scheme, and plans to send out press release in the next few weeks. "We've been receiving calls from consumers in America as well as Canadians who, when they got their phone bills, discovered these huge international phone charges," Susan Grant, the director of the NFIC said today. "If the perpetrator is located in another country and their records and bank accounts are in a another country, it's very difficult for the U.S. to take the normal legal steps." Today, a U.S. software company, Solid Oak Software, said that its $39.95 CyberSitter filtering program could block users from entering the sex sites in the first place. /2100-1023-268624.html#ixzz11KMfUQQT

"Prostitutes of God:" Film Mocks, Belittles Sex Workers By Bebe Loff September 29, 2010 - 4:03pm Bebe Loff's blog | Printer-friendly version | Login or register to post comments | ShareThis Last week, four episodes of a film entitled Prostitutes of God were posted on VBS.TV, which is owned by Vice Magazine. Prostitutes of God producer Sarah Harris, spent time with members of Veshya Anyay Mukti Parishad (meaning ?Prostitutes? Freedom from Injustice?) or "VAMP," and let her into their lives, their families and their workplace. The result? Films that are inaccurate and misrepresentative, and insulting to the people who agreed to participate and to the Hindu culture. VAMP was formed in 1996 and now works with more than 5000 women, men, and transgenders in sex work to promote and protect their human rights and health. The group covers six districts in Western Maharashtra and two in North Karnataka. VAMP has been internationally recognised by groups like Human Rights Watch for their contribution to human rights and for their work in HIV/AIDS prevention. However, you would not know any of this from Harris? film, which is full of stereotypes and representations of Indian culture that are designed to mock and belittle. In addition, Harris? film puts people in danger-- of stigma, discrimination and misinformation?through her uninformed and judgemental editorial lens. In a recent interview of Harris in the UK Independent (LINK)?in which she describes her interest in sex work as having originated when she spent time as a volunteer ?with a charity in southern India which rescues victims of sex trafficking?Harris recounts someone who told her that HIV/AIDS is like ?plucking a bunch of grapes. As soon as a woman is infected, then her whole family becomes infected.? This ignorance and irresponsibility runs rampant throughout Prostitutes of God. One case in point is that of Belavva. The film maker wrongly states that the "Devadasi" religious ritual demands that poor families traffic their daughters into prostitution (that is dedicate them to the goddess Yellama). She then states that when Belavva was young her family sent her to work for a landlord who asked her parents to dedicate her - or pimp her out. This is stated, not implied. It is not true, neither in the instance of the individual concerned, nor with respect to Hinduism. Sadly there are many more examples throughout the film, examples that prompted VAMP to issue the following rebuttal: It is to be hoped that a person would pretty sure of their evidence when making these sorts of allegations to the world. Sarah Harris has managed to misconstrue most of what she has reported, has exploited a trusting community in the worst possible ways, and has produced a series of films that are extraordinarily offensive. She has demonstrated racism and has behaved in ways reminiscent of the most unpleasant forms of colonialism. She has abused the poorest of people for her own ends. To manipulate poor people to meet one?s ends is blameworthy. It is reprehensible to betray the trust of a most vulnerable people merely to make a film. To, in addition, vilify and disparage a culture and religious beliefs, as Sarah Harris and VBS TV have done, requires either wilful ignorance or a determination to produce work that panders to the worst type of media sensationalism imaginable. The people in the film are part of a community that wishes to tell their stories and be understood by a broad audience, but we will not stand by while we are being misrepresented to the world. It is to be hoped that a person would be pretty sure of their evidence when making these sorts of allegations to the world. Sarah Harris and VBS must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. VAMP members are people with rights including reputational rights.

Courtesy & Manners

Unfortunately this is not an issue exclusive of Cerb. Bad manners are rampant anywhere. In this situation is a more "intimate" issue and especially since you were given the "gentleman"(have to call him something...)some advice. In all orders of life there is people who think they are too big for their shoes, too smart for their environment and they cut all of us off. Do not bother even remembering and DO NOT STOP helping someone else because of him. Keep doing the good thing. If you don't, you will be puting yourself at his level...too much of a low place to be.... Hugs LoraLee -
Stigma still hurts...and filming someone so young creates a very deep and controversial image of the self. Sometimes suicide is the only clear sight in the mind of a person who has been hurt so deeply as this lovely young boy. Imagine! just imagine the jerks who film him getting free and perhaps in their malicious minds, in their prejudging brains they still think "bad thoughts" about gender and sexuality. Gender is one thing and sexuality is other.... I am really appalled by this and yes, Megan, Spike and all of you are right also. I have three sons and I could not imagine anything more cruel than denying their right to choose their own sexuality rights.... very sad! LoraLee:-(:-x

Did Tyler Clementi Reach Out for Help Before Suicide? (Sept. 30) -- The Rutgers University student who committed suicide after two students allegedly streamed a video of his gay sexual encounter over the Internet may have reached out for help before killing himself. A message board thread on justusboys.com contains several messages by a user identified as "cit2mo," who is believed to be 18-year-old Tyler Clementi, the Manhattan news website Gawker reported. On Wednesday, Middlesex County, N.J., prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan announced the arrests of Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei, both 18. The Rutgers freshmen have been charged with two counts each of invasion of privacy for allegedly using a camera to view and transmit a live image of Clementi on Sept. 19. Ravi has also been charged with two additional counts of invasion of privacy for allegedly attempting to use the camera to view and transmit another encounter involving Clementi on Sept. 21, the same day that cit2mo started a now defunct thread titled "college roommate spying" on justusboys.com. "So the other night I had a guy over. I had talked to my roommate that afternoon and he had said it would be fine w/him," cit2mo wrote. "I checked his twitter today. He tweeted that I was using the room ... and that he went into somebody else's room and remotely turned on his webcam and saw me making out with a guy." Cit2mo added: "So my question is what next? I could just be more careful next time. ... [but] I'm [kind of] p...-- at him. ... It would be nice to get him in trouble but [i don't know if] I have enough to get him in trouble." The situation described by cit2mo, as well as the dates of the posts, appear to match the issues that Clementi was dealing with, indicating that he was most likely the person responsible for the posts, Gawker reported. On Wednesday, The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J., cited a now defunct Twitter profile that Ravi allegedly used in which a poster made a tweet on Sept. 19, saying that his roommate had asked to use their room until midnight. "I went into Molly's room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay," the message read. A similar tweet, on Sept. 22, mentioned the instant message/live feed service iChat. "Roommate asked for room again. Its happening again. People with iChat don't you dare video chat me from 930 to 12," the message read. The Twitter message was posted on the same day that cit2mo posted the following message to justusboys.com: "So I wanted to have the guy over again. I texted roomie around 7 asking for the room later tonight and he said it was fine. When I got back to the room I instantly noticed he had turned the webcam toward my bed. And he had posted online again saying 'anyone want a free show just video chat me tonight' or something similar to that." Cit2mo goes on to say that he contacted his resident assistant. "We'll see what happens," the poster wrote. Cit2mo also said that talking to his roommate "didn't seem like an option" and that the second occurrence "set me off." The last post by cit2mo was made on Sept. 22. In it, he said that he had provided a written statement about the incidents to officials at the college and that they "seemed to take it seriously." Not long after that post by cit2mo, Clementi posted his last message to his Facebook profile, according to WPIX-TV and The Star-Ledger. "Jumping off the gw bridge sorry," Clementi wrote. Clementi is believed to have jumped off the George Washington Bridge shortly after the message was posted. A body recovered from the Hudson River on Wednesday was positively identified today as his, according to several local media reports. Through a statement issued by a lawyer, Clementi's family confirmed that he had committed suicide. "The family is heartbroken beyond words. They respectfully request that they be given time to grieve their great loss and that their privacy at this painful time be respected by all," the Clementi family said. "His privacy was violated, very, very violated," Rutgers student Daryl Chan told The Herald News, a New Jersey newspaper. "His roommate was a very tech-savvy-type dude. He set up cameras all over the room and didn't tell him. A lot of the RAs are troubled by it." Other friends described Clementi to the newspaper as a gifted musician who had won several scholarships and awards for his musical abilities. "He was so incredibly talented. I could not believe how good he was for such a young boy," Diane Wade, a violinist with the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra, told The Herald News. "Such a nice kid all the way around. ... As a parent, he was the way you want your kids to be -- polite, courteous, serious about the work he was doing and a hard worker." In an e-mail to AOL News, Clementi's friend Blake McCrossin says he can sympathize with his friend's situation. "I remember telling him how I felt when I was 18, freshman in college, and I too was fearful of how my friends would change if they knew I was gay," McCrossin said. "Little did I know one who was most judgmental about my sexuality was myself. So, when people say, 'Why would he kill himself over this?' I can sympathize with the fear that Tyler felt. ... We truly need to realize that diversity is a part of this world." A friend of Ravi's told the New York Daily News that he was an outgoing ping-pong player and Frisbee enthusiast who enjoyed pranks. "I think he's a good person," Michael Zhuang, 17, a neighbor and former classmate, told the newspaper. "I don't think he's a homophobe. It would've been no different if it was a girl in the room." Ravi's friends have made similar statements to The Star-Ledger and have claimed that Ravi told them he had accidentally turned on the webcam in his room while he was in Wei's dorm room and that he shut it off when he saw Clementi in a sexual encounter.

Ohio man facing charges for having sex with... :? a picnic table....wtf is this....any of you tried this one???? Cincinnati Police conduct arrest round up in Price Hill (BELLEVUE, OH) -- Police say a man in Bellevue, Ohio was caught on tape having sex with a picnic table. Bellevue Police Captain Matt Johnson says Art Price, Jr., 40, was seen on four occasions between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and noon having sex with his picnic table. What makes this a felony, Johnson says, is that it took place in close proximity to a school, which made it likely that children could have seen Price. The neighbor -- who wishes to remain anonymous -- saw Price walk out onto his deck, stand a round metal table on its side and use the hole in the umbrella to have sex. The most recent instance took place March 14, we're told. A neighbor videotaped Price. "The first video we had, he was completely nude. He would use the hole from the umbrella and have sex with the table," Johnson says. Police say Price admitted to the crimes -- four charges of public indecency. Usually these sorts of things are misdemeanors, but in this case, they are felonies. "What boosts it up to a felony is that the statute says if it's likely to be viewed by a minor," Johnson explains. The Price family did not want to talk with us, but neighbors did. Some are not happy Price was released on his own recognizance. "He shouldn't be allowed just for the fact that he could do that again -- and nude that close to a school. That should be zero tolerance," says Brice Jacobs, a neighbor. Price is married with three school-aged children. Neighbors tell us they're now worried about the kids. "Hopefully it stays between the adults and the kids don't get a lot of the information so they aren't so cruel to the little kids," says Emily Grote, a neighbor. This case has police in this small town shaking their heads. "Once you think you've seen it all, something else comes around," Johnson says. Report: WTOL, Toledo

I do the same Reddog!!! Yesterday I search for "tips" for ladies of any age regarding safety and I found this one I published in our Cerb community. The reason I searched was because a friend of mine was raped in her car in Toronto. She went to a function with her girlfriends and they separated in the parking areas at the conclusion of the event. A guy pushed her on the ground, ripped her skirt and while calling her names, made his way inside her undies.....dragged her more than 10 feet to the side wall of the garage and.... She screamed and he hit her in the mouth so hard that she lost 2 teeth....this is a very good looking and discreet lady of 61 years of age! Yes, it is incredible we have to walk checking our backs.... LoraLee:-(

9 crucial tips, forward them. 1. The elbowis the strongest point on your body. If you are close enough to use it,do! 2. If a robber asksfor your wallet and/or purse, DO NOT HAND IT TO HIM.. Toss it away from you.... he is more interested in your wallet than you, RUN LIKE MAD IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! 3.If you are ever throwninto the trunk of a car, kick out the back tail lightsand stick your arm out the hole and start waving like crazy.. 4.Women have a tendencyto get into their cars after shopping, eating, working, etc.,and just sit DON'T The predatorwill be watching you. AS SOON AS YOU GET INTO YOUR CAR, LOCK THE DOORS AND LEAVE.. If someone is in the car DO NOT DRIVE OFF, Instead gun the engine and speed into anything, wrecking the car. Your Air Bag will save you. If the person isin the back seat they will get the worst of it. better than having them find your body in a remote location. 5. about getting into your car in a parking lot, A.) look around you, at the passenger side floor, and in the back seat B.)If you are parked next to a big van, enter your car from the passenger door.. Most serial killers attack their victims by pulling them into their vans C.)Look at the car parked on the driver's sideof your vehicle, and the passenger side...If a male is sitting alone in the seat nearest your car,you may want to walk back 6.ALWAYS the elevator Stairwells are horrible placesto be alone and the perfect crime spot. especially true at NIGHT!) 7.If the predator has a gun and you are not under his control, ALWAYS RUN! The predator will only hit you(a running target) 4 in 100 times;and even then, RUN Preferably in a zig -zag pattern! 8. women, are always trying to be sympathetic: STOP It may get you raped,or killed. Ted Bundy, was a good-looking, well educated man,who ALWAYS played on the sympathiesof unsuspecting women. 9. a crying baby at your door 'Whatever you do,DO NOT open the door..' The policeman said,'We already have a unit on the way, whatever you do,DO NOT open the door.' He told her that they thinka serial killer has a baby's cry recorded!! 10. Water scam! If you wake up in the middle of the night to hear all your taps outside running or what you think is a burst pipe, DO NOT GO OUT TO INVESTIGATE! These people turn on all your outside taps full ball so that you will go out to investigate and then attack. Please pass this on Thanks! LoraLee

Yes Roamingguy...courtships are too short....but who is the pretender? both? one? I am a little confused....years ago, when my mother's courtships were around, she told me that most girls will fake a pregnancy to get married, particularly if they were over 25..... today, when I talk to my kids (in their 20's and all big and great boys) they are almost in the same issues...lots of sex and attention and "pregnancy issues" Where we really are? A good friend said to me not long ago...."I am off the drama times" and it is true.... LoraLee;)

Silent Contracts By Pat McChristie Men and Women in Relationships: We expect those silent contracts to remain the same after marriage. We believe even daily behaviors should change only when necessary and agreed upon in advance. We interpret courtship behaviors as promises from our future partners. These become silent contracts we make with each other before marriage. We then expect those contracts to remain the same after marriage. We believe even daily behaviors should change only when necessary and agreed upon in advance. Yet our period of courting has been a time of great deception. We exaggerated our virtues and strongpoints. We understated or sometimes even concealed many of our faults and weakpoints. We took an interest in activities and subjects that had never been interesting before just to please our partners. Men do it and women do it. Why? We were convincing someone to share our lives. We wanted their respect, trust, love, and affection. In short, we were selling ourselves. And our partner was doing the same. During this time we made complex and unconscious contracts with our soon-to-be mates. These "contracts" were rarely discussed and many will eventually be "broken." Because partners feel angry when these unconscious agreements are broken, courtship assumptions should be laid on the table and discussed. Some psychologists suggest we make a list of values and behaviors. The engaged couple should (separately and without discussion) write his or her opinion of how the couple has agreed to handle each issue. One of my regular clients got this for me and asked me to place it on Cerb. He estimates that 95 percent of the married men where lured with lots of sex into a sexless marriage.... I leave it up to you to discuss with us. Thanks , LoraLee

Thanks Angela.....!!!! I appreciate you also. I feel nauseated myself (even if Pete is also right in his own way), but ...... it does not solve the issue to discuss it over and over on the private section....if the gentlemen do nothing to improve this repetitive...recurrent....reiterated....ad nauseatum....offensive...boring...sickening...repulsive....disgusting...issue. If the matter came to a point in where this is reiterated so much to annoy so many to read about it....must be a reson for it...right.... I have raised children and I know the value of repetition, without saying there are teenagers in this forum and referring absolutely to the `repetition to oblivious`the gentlemen complained about. Just imagine how obnoxious this is to us, to suffer it over and over...you just have to read about it. And I completely sympathize with the suffering males who are not screening their providers as we should screen the clients. I will place a screening in place and I hope no one accuses me of being `too hard` on the male demographics .... Thanks again, LoraLee -
