Since many STDs are easier to transmit from male to female than from female to male, it would make more sense to have mandatory STD testing for hobbyists than for SPs. If there's some reason mandatory testing for hobbyists isn't being considered, perhaps it's worth asking why people show so little reluctance to suggest it for SPs.

I second the Keissy recommendation; I've seen her in Toronto and Montreal, but I know she works in Ottawa sometimes too (in fact more often these days, I think). Probably my favorite for greek anywhere.

It's not a new tactic. The efforts which originally made prostitution illegal in most of the U.S. a century ago were fueled by panics over "white slavery," the trafficking of the time.

Actually, I should have remembered. Swedish law advocates claim that the law must have reduced prostitution and trafficking in Sweden, because they've gone up in Denmark, and the only explanation is that Swedish hobbyists have been going to Denmark instead. There is the small problem that the statistics allegedly showing an increase in Denmark actually show nothing of the sort but have merely been misinterpreted, but advocates of the law have predictably shown no tendency to let reality get in the way of their claiming success.

Statistics show the Swedish model reducing trafficking, Secret? Which statistics? I know a lot of advocates of the law have "estimated" that it has reduced trafficking and prostitution, but in the cases I've heard about, the basis for these estimates has been laughable when there's been any basis at all. If you've found a serious study of the effects of the Swedish model on the business, I'd like to see it, as it would be something new.

Danielle is very attractive if you're into the West Indian look at all. She's also enthusiastic and affectionate; DFK started as soon as I got in the door. She continued to put on a passionate performance throughout the session, eagerly suggesting new things to try. What about #4 on the original list? It seems police are being counted as allies of prostitutes on the basis that police try to help them get out of the business; I was under the impression that many prostitutes don't want that kind of help. Further, the article doesn't address the fact that as I understand it it's still very common in the states for police to demand freebies from prostitutes in exchange for not arresting them, which seems more like enemy than ally behavior to me.

Hot young Asians who provide greek are very rare, and Nikkei provides all her services, including that one, with great passion and enthusiasm. She's also extremely friendly and charming; when I see her she's constantly smiling, and her smile is warm and inviting. She's got a heavy accent, but her English is fluent, so she can also be counted on for pleasant conversation.

Camilla @ Select is very friendly and charming, and no upcharge for greek if you're into that. No personal knowledge of the others, but the agencies are reputable. Other good ones in Toronto include Ciara @ Dream Makers and Danielle @ Sassy Angels.

Tall and beautiful (she looks better in person than in the pictures on her web site), Candyce is also extremely passionate; DFK was almost constant when we weren't doing other things. When we did get a few words in here and there, I also found her charming and fun to talk to. I go for the long sessions she says she prefers, and she always makes me very glad I chose to spend a lot of time with her. I also definitely recommend paying the extra for the greek islands tour. She's so tight that it takes some effort for me to get in, but she's very patient and determined, and once I am in it feels absolutely amazing!

I booked Larissa because I have a bit of a thing for tall women, and I also like European accents, as they sound worldly and sophisticated to me. Though she's well reviewed, I confess I thought the pictures on the website looked too good to be true. It turned out, though, that she really does have what I'd have to describe as a nearly flawless body; she looks exactly like her pictures. She also has a pretty face and a charming personality; she was a lot of fun to talk to (not just because of the sexy accent) as well as being a lot of fun to do many other things with.

Erin is tall and slender, one of the body types I really go for, with a beautiful face. She's also wonderfully passionate and enthusiastic! I particularly liked the interactive show she put on with some anal beads she brought along. She also demanded sex (including greek) in many, many different positions, and with the non-stop action and her extremely vocal responses, I'd have to say that she was more like a girl in a porn video than any other SP I've seen, with the difference that she still managed to be warm and friendly.

I guess I'm old and bitter and cynical, but I expect love to involve heartbreak and pain and frustration and to end badly. And yet I am still enough of a romantic to think it's worth it despite that. Given this combination of attitudes, I see no reason I should try to avoid falling in love with SPs, especially as it's not as if I can consciously decide whether to fall in love or not anyway. Of course, all that might be true and I might still never have met an SP who produced such strong feelings in me. But I have.
