  1. You'd probably be better off asking in the SP sections for the relevant cities...
  2. Pictures of drag queens... half in costume, half not. And, apparently, not 'shopped - they really did get half-made-up... More here, at the photographer's website. And h/t.
  3. I'm pretty sure you can get that here too :) I assume that she has no recos :) There are some ladies here who have no recos because they ask clients not to write them. There are some who simply don't see many people, which makes them far less likely to get recos. There are some who may have recos from a while back, but nothing recent (this applies especially to well-established ladies, and those whose business consists largely of repeats). And, of course, there are those who have no recos because... well, because anyone making a malign assumption about that would probably be right in their case. Yes, sometimes when I've seen a lady with no recos it's been obvious why that was. But even then, the experience has been "Meh" rather than anything seriously bad. And I've also had the same when seeing one or two well-recommended ladies who I simply haven't got on with that well. Yep, for sure. I'm not saying CERB is perfect by any means, or that you can completely avoid doing the research... just that it's... better. CERB at least makes an effort to keep the scammers out, unlike BP/CL/etc. As far as the research goes... I've found that simply by being here reasonably often and reading the various recos and other threads people post, I've got a good idea of who I'd like to see and who I probably won't get on with so well. I guess that still counts as research... but it doesn't particularly feel like it at the time :)
  4. Yep. They're all lovely. And, if anyone wants to eulogize someone they think is particularly lovely, feel free to do so here :)
  5. The big problem with sex addiction is that it seems to be an overly-used excuse for having a lot of partners that your SO didn't know about (but does now, because it's front-page news). If we're going to describe people who suffer from compulsive behavior as "addicts", then I think that can manifest itself in many different ways. Nobody doubts the existence of compulsive gamblers, hoarders, shoplifters, liars, and all sorts of other things. What's more interesting is what's described as an "addiction" and what's not; it's fairly common to speak of a "gambling addict", but far less so to speak of a "hoarding-old-newspapers addict". And so if we define "sex addiction" as compulsively engaging in sexual behavior (which is a pretty broad definition in any case), I don't doubt that it exists. I also don't doubt that its existence is convenient for, and abused by, many people who aren't actually sex addicts. Wha't --is-- addiction, anyway? And how do we deal with the fact that what one person considers to be a "sex addiction" may be considered by the next person to be a "healthy and active sex life"? As for whether it's related to "kinky sex"... I guess the first question is: what's "kinky"? Some of us are so vanilla that we think chocolate ice-cream is pushing it. Some of us... have rather different opinions. And having defined "kinky", then it would be necessary to distinguish between those who were chasing sex (in whatever form) and those who are chasing new and ever-more-exotic experiences (I don't know if neophilia is a recognized medical condition or not). My gut feeling is that "kinky sex" (however you might define it), and "sex addiction" (assuming that means the compulsive engagement in sexual behavior) probably aren't particularly related. But I can't prove it.
  6. Depends how much money I've got, and who I'm with (if anyone) and what I feel like. I should say that one thing I WON'T do is visit the ATM. Get cash in advance, and when it's gone... I'm done. There needs to be some hard limit, or there would be severe cases of kid-in-a-candy-store syndrome...
  7. ..and to be honest, that's why I don't use BP and other similar sites. I'm too damn lazy to do the research and the reading between the lines. CERB does at least keep out the obvious scammers and B&S artists, and so if someone advertizes here you know they're at least honest.
  8. Ooooh, very fond memories of her - saw her once, a long time ago. Any idea how often she's in? And when? I'd have licked her all over and gone for the tiger look :) Does tanning spray taste nice, btw? And on a more serious note - if it comes off that easily, aren't you at serious risk of getting it all over your clothes? Could be tricky explaining that one to the wife...
  9. I've found most people are pretty good at answering mails - they are, after all, running a business. But yes, a lot of this is down to personal preference - there are also a fair few ladies who don't seem to like email, or phones. Personally, I like email when I'm planning ahead (usually at least a couple of days in advance), and phone for the occasional "Are you free in an hour's time" kinda stuff.
  10. This thread means nothing to me. This is probably related to the fact that I've never seen the point in ironing anything in the first place :)
  11. Of course, if you find that a lot of the wonderful ladies in this industry are turning you own, then it might be about you after all... But really, harassing someone for an explanation isn't going to get her to change her mind. And if you push it too far it may get you on a more widespread list of people to be avoided, rather than just hers...
  12. Happy birthday, Steve! I tried to make you a birthday cake with sprinkles on it, but... well, it kinda went wrong, so this will have to do...
  13. To be honest, I wouldn't expect them to call you back unless you left a voicemail saying that it was OK to do so, and when. Unless the call has been pre-arranged, a SP calling a client is prone to all kinds of issues with discretion. What if she calls back while you happen to be with your SO? Tricky, that, and my understanding is that most SPs just don't want to deal with it :) And that's one of the reasons I prefer email... far fewer problems like this :)
  14. I'd forgotten how awesome those pants were. Garbage - Untouchable
  15. Every craftsman needs his tools. Motorhead - The Hammer
  16. That doesn't matter for everyone. As far as I'm concerned, your ads are actually the least important thing, and I frequently only look at ads to learn the details for someone I've already decided to see. I place far more weight on someone's general participation on the board and their recos than on ads. But that's just me.
  17. Evening as in "after work" :) She may have been there a little past 6, but not much.
