I like Old Dog 'cos he's wise, and funny as hell. Nice underwear, too!

Glad you got to the bottom of it, BackRubMan. And thanks for sharing what happened... I'm sure this has happened to a lot of other people too, who may not even have noticed. I must admit, in general I'm very wary of giving companies like Google and Facebook access to too much information. As an example, my real-life self is on FB, but there's not a hope in hell of Phaedrus ever getting one. And I've studiously avoided allowing my real-life email to go anywhere near Google; I'm sure they know far too much about me as it is without reading my email. And smartphone apps really do seem to be a fantastic liability...

...is worthwhile. Posting because I've just run across this:

It's entirely possible that he's tried this on a lot of people. Let Mod know about it anyway, even if the account is already under review (or suspended)... the more information that the people who need it (Mod, SPs) have about people like this, the easier it is to freeze them out.

Seriously? I have to say, an hour before the appointment sounds like the *perfect* time to catch your potential client in the shower. I wonder how many people pass this test? And, of course, that's before we get to the discretion side of things. You could have had far more serious reasons for not picking up a call from an SP than simply being in the shower at the time. Most SPs understand this, of course, and wouldn't dream of calling any client out of the blue, but clearly this one doesn't.

I'd hope traveling SPs (and guys, for that matter) would check for bed-bugs. From what I've heard - some friends had them a while back - they're absolute bastards to get rid of. The adults die easily enough, but the eggs... my friends had to fumigate and/or boil-wash *everything*. I've never met them, and I'd be very happy to keep it that way.

Cerb goddess of the day
Phaedrus replied to Meg O'Ryan's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
So, for the weekend, something a little different. Can we nominate goddesses who are no longer with us? I'm going to anyway :) My nomination for today is... Sensual Erin. She's not here any more, alas, which is a great loss to us all. But I'm sure that those of us who had the pleasure of reading her posts will recall her wit, charm, integrity, and good sense. I hope she'll come back sometime. -
Actually... I'm now thinking of going back. The thing is... yes, my old underwear was loose and saggy. But - and this is not an insignificant 'but' - my ass looked good by comparison! But how I have new underwear, complete with elastic... there's no doubt about my pendulous posterior... so I'm seriously thinking about going back to being able to blame my undies. *sigh*. Can't you tell the difference between a plumber's butt-crack and a builder's? I can see you're going to need some education...

Cheezburgerz! It doesn't matter what the question is; there can only be one answer. Nope :) Sorry, but someone had to go there :) -

Aha! I wondered why the phone had been ringing off the hook all afternoon! I should perhaps point out, though, that I have since purchased new underwear, complete with working elastic...
