  1. Kursk, Russia. Here's the nuclear submarine that was named after it.
  2. If we're going to start asking questions like that, this thread clearly requires a contribution from Philosoraptor.
  3. The Internet might have been for porn, but now it's for illegally downloading music. And TV shows. And movies. Some of which are.... nevermind, maybe the song's still right :)
  4. All of this, of course, comes with two major pitfalls. Firstly, you may post something, click in the wrong place, and not realize until your friends or family ask about it. Secondly, the rules and policies of these sites change, often without much notice, and usually in ways that allow advertisers to extract more information about you...
  5. Not comfortable. Just numb.
  6. One other thing about Kanata - you might find you do well late afternoon/early evening with the stop-for-a-break-on-the-way-home-from-work crowd (if there is such a thing :) )
  7. Well, this *has* been an interesting thread! I didn't know about the secret user notes :) Anyway, a few thoughts on the topic at hand... First, one which has been mentioned already but bears repeating: not everyone may be OK with a list of SPs they've seen (and possibly when) being available, even if only to other SPs. They whole privacy/discretion thing *is* an issue, more for some than for others. I know *most* SPs are absolutely fine with the idea that their clients, even their favorite ones, see other SPs - but as BackRubMan noted, this can be awkward at times. Second: what if one of us guys asks a lady to post a reference for us on CERB (by whatever means) and she declines to do so, for whatever reason? We're well into the awkward zone at that point; it might be better for these things to be played out somewhere less public. Third: what happens when ladies retire? People come and go all the time, and they don't always clean up their accounts here when they do. I'm not sure of the value of a reference from someone who's no longer in the industry. Fourth: should there be built-in time-limit on these things? I always try to provide a reference from someone who I've seen fairly recently, but I don't know if everyone does this - and it may be impossible for those who see SPs infrequently. How useful is a reference from someone I saw once, eighteen months ago? Finally: I was under the impression that the ladies sometimes use the ability of a potential client to follow simple instructions as part of the vetting process. If your website clearly states that a reference is required, then it really ought to be in the initial email; if it isn't, that's perhaps something to be considered. After all, as one of the ladies has mentioned elsewhere on this board (I can't recall who or where or when, sorry): someone who can't follow an instruction like, "Please provide a reference" may later prove less likely to respect a request like, "Please don't do that". Automating the reference process removes this tool. I'm not sure how much any of these points will weigh with people. I have to say I like the idea in principle, but... there are pitfalls.
  8. I think Katrine at Paradise/Angel's has recently finished RMT training. Kelly (on Cambridge, previously on Kent) has been well spoken of. However, I've not seen either myself. Gina is also very good indeed (and I can speak from experience there), and has recently gone indy. All of them advertise here, so you should get what you're looking for.
  9. Well, time to go back to someone who's been mentioned already, more than once... there's a reason for that! I refer, of course, to the incomparable Gabriella. What to say that hasn't been said already? Others have told you of her intelligence, and you can see for yourself how hot she is... but what I like most about her is that I've never met her without us ending up falling about laughing over something or other. There's a lot to be said for that :)
  10. Who are you calling fat? Fatboy Slim - Rockafeller Skank
  11. Welcome on/to the board, WS! Sounds like you'll fit right in... as it were ;)
  12. I have no huge preference between evenings and daytime. Both are good. But like others, I'd imagine that offering daytime meetings would open up new potential clients for you. One thing that's been mentioned already, but bears repeating: daytime appointments are often going to be at least a bit tight for time for those of us who work, and any significant travel distance makes this worse. But you don't have to be convenient for *everyone* - just for enough people to make it worthwhile :)
  13. So, when you're stuck with a bottle that you can't open, what do you do? How to open a beer with a chainsaw: How to open a bottle of wine with a shoe:
  14. Naples makes me think of Italy, I'm afraid, so... Sicily
