  1. Actually, I want one on the front of my car that says, in mirror writing, "If this sticker is blue, get the hell outta my way."
  2. I have suddenly developed a keen interest in architecture. Does anyone know anything about how we can help to preserve the fast-disappearing landscape of former days against the tsunami of steel and glass that threatens it?
  3. To be honest, the mere fact that they're featured in the Cowboy's Diary probably isn't a good sign...
  4. Don't have much to add to what others have said here. The only thing I'd say is that I'm not really a fan of the grainy, cellphone-in-the-mirror pics; you don't need to get a pro in, but at least get a proper camera (doesn't need to be anything special), and maybe a tripod or a friend to help out.
  5. Yeesh... I started getting concerned when I could walk into my usual bar and my preferred pint would be sitting on the bar waiting for me by the time I got there. Clearly, the solution was to start drinking other beers occasionally :)
  6. Andy, I hate to shatter your illusions, but I'm sure that there's quite a few folks on this site who are doing exactly that. However, given that we don't know the details of their personal circumstances, and given that we don't know which ladies they see, or how often, or exactly what they do when they're with those ladies... perhaps we should refrain from leaping to judgement? It's perfectly possible to have a fun time while being *very* safe, including against HPV.
  7. So, I ran across this today... Do you know who she is? If not, and you want to be made to feel old, find out here...
  8. Awesome! I trust everyone will follow His Imperial and Royal Highness' instructions promptly. (And yes, I did just go and look up the correct form of address for an Archduke. I really am that nerdy :) )
  9. I know, because I really ought to be making a start on the washing-up right now. But I'm not :) What? NO INTERWEBS??? *shudder*
  10. Yeah... but if your client's done it too, then it's okay, right? So... road trip? With the Archduke to cook for us?
  11. Excuse me? Who the fuck are you? Aaaaah, right! All is clear now. Done! Drinks on me, food on you :)
  12. Can I come too? I can't cook to save my life, but I'm pretty damn good at eating, if I do say so myself :)
  13. Done. SNMD is dead to me :) I totally wish I'd thought of this when I joined CERB. I may yet have to drop a PM to the Mod... :)
  14. I like the Archduke of Crossover because his tastes in many things are pretty similar to mine!
  15. Yup. A bunch of male dolphins will surround a female and prevent her from getting to the to surface to breathe until she succumbs to their advances. They are really not nice... True. Sharks are much less vicious.
  16. I can't find a link right now, but I vaguely recall a discussion on this sort of thing in the past where one or more of the ladies mentioned that quite a few hotels do "day rates", which maybe what you're looking for. I think these are used for quite a few mainstream purposes (business meetings, interviews, etc), but hotels don't tend to advertise them, so you'd have to call and ask if they exist and, if so, what they are. It may depend on how busy the hotel is on any particular day. Of course, I may be utterly wrong on this :) Good luck!
  17. So... er... what kind of shampoo do you use? I'm just asking because I distinctly remember - sometime in my early teens - discovering that yes, shampoo felt quite nice while... um... having a shower. But then it got into more sensitive areas... And I've never done *that* again!
  18. Well, much as I'd like to see this thread given the last rites and a decent burial in an unmarked grave, there's a couple of things that need to be said. First, and far and away the most important: Cleo, I'd like to apologize to you for recommending that MikeO go and see you. This was clearly a quite spectacular misjudgment on my part; it's now obvious that there's no way he deserves to get to meet you. Secondly, MikeO: Your post to which I replied was... ambiguous. Not bad, not good, just open to (mis)interpretation, as others have noted. It could simply have been a post made by a nice guy that was just badly or carelessly phrased; after all, this is the Internet and there's no way to pick up on tone of voice or facial expression here. So, you *could* have replied and said, "Hey, that's not what I meant!!!". But... you didn't. You doubled down, and insulted Cleo *again*. You may rest assured that I don't think this is cool. Nor, I suspect, do most of the people in this forum. We are not here to make public pronouncements about which ladies do or do not meet the requirements of our particular peccadilloes, especially those whom we haven't actually met. We are most certainly not here to insult those who don't quite do so, or to condemn them as unworthy of our time or money or attention. Neither are we here to insult the other guys who may choose to see SPs, or to make assumptions about their personal circumstances, or to make judgments based on those personal circumstances, whether they be assumed or real. Finally, for everyone else and for the record: I've had no contact at all with MikeO via PMs, so there's nothing to report there. Whatever concerns he may have with me or my posts have, thus far, been raised only in this thread.
  19. Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancing
  20. Well, coming from the other side of the fence... it was the recos that drew me in in the first place. But, if you'll forgive me sounding horribly trite, that's not why I stayed. And, again from the other side of the fence, it's been fantastic to realize that there's a whole bunch of very normal and sane and likeable dudes out there for whom seeing a SP is a perfectly normal thing to do. Perhaps the most valuable things that CERB has taught me are - if you'll all excuse my being somewhat blunt for a moment - that it's okay to see SPs, and that SPs are, by and large, lovely people. Far more so than the rest of the general population, anyway. (As an aside, please note that I'm lumping MAs in with SPs here. I know some folks see a distinction between the two, and I wouldn't want anyone to believe that I think MAs are any less delightful than SPs :) ) No, but it's always appreciated when it turns up, whether solicited or not. Sometimes it's good to get advice on a subject where you never even knew you needed it, or what questions to ask :) Originally, for the recos. Now, for the community at large. The fact that I get to have some serious fun with some members of the community is just a bonus (but a pretty damn awesome bonus, nevertheless :) ) Absolutely. I also love the fact that we can have fairly civil disagreements and debates here. Sure, it gets a little bad-tempered at times, but that's understandable. Most of the time, CERB is remarkable for its civility. Yes. Which means, all of it. And I love to hear from you! I'm not into all the serious threads, and neither am I into all the silly threads, or all the sexy threads, but I like reading them all (even the ones I don't contribute to) and I like being on a site where they can all coexist. I think that if you took any of these elements out, CERB as a whole would be much the poorer for it.
