+1 on Erin and Megan. I'd also recommend Jessica. It sounds like you might be better off going with one of the independent ladies rather than visiting one of the MPs, simply because that way you can chat to them via email first and ask whatever questions you feel inclined to ask without the pressure of having to do so once you arrive. But there are also some fantastic ladies at the MPs too...

The fundamental questions here are: to what extent is it justified to expect senior executives to know what's going on in their company, especially when it's illegal? And did they know? And if they didn't, was this because they made a point of not doing so?

I have to disagree with you here a little, SA. I don't see that there's any harm in asking a simple question about whether particular offers are normal, or legal. Now, if the OP's question had been something like "I want a HJ in a SC, how do I get one" then I think that you'd be absolutely right that this would be inappropriate for this forum... but it wasn't :) Good point; I'd forgotten about the solicitation thing.

Thanks, QA. An update: the police have ruled out any third-party involvement after the autopsy, but toxicology results aren't back yet (and AFAIK they usually take a couple of weeks) so no official cause of death has been announced.

But it's all we can do. Getting angry and frustrated is no use. Mockery may or may not help, but many nut-jobs play the 'persecuted prophet' card and take the mockery and contempt of mainstream society as a badge of honor. Reality will hopefully win out in the long run, but in the meantime I suspect the best thing that reasonable people can do is to refute the lies and the bogus arguments, point out why they're wrong and invalid, and do so whenever they crop up. Most people can spot the difference between a good argument and a bad one, at the end of the day. Yes, it'll be a long and frustrating war of attrition; yes, there will be setbacks along the way. But we'll get there, eventually.

We have no idea what he died of yet. And apparently he had issues with both drink and drugs (which was why he was fired in the first place), so it's possible that he just overdid something.
