  1. This phenomenon may not be confined to Kenya....
  2. Amazon customer reviews, again, this time for gummy bears. Do not read while drinking coffee. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EVQWKC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000EVQWKC&linkCode=as2&tag=iflt-20
  3. All this is true, but it would take years to prove in court (again!) and in the meantime the problem would be punted to another day for the politicians. I'd like to think they wouldn't be so obviously cynical, but...
  4. For those who want to get really into this stuff, there's a useful infographic here and a good white paper here. h/t @ggreenwald, who has more than a passing interest in this stuff :)
  5. Alas, they forgot the best one of all... which is to keep your data yourself, as far as possible, rather than entrusting your entire life to some large corporation :)
  6. No... the more intelligent ones download add-ons/plugins to block all the other crap. And maybe keep one browser for visiting sites where you really have to have the crapware...
  7. Yaaawwwn. Fox runs this story ("OMG THE HOOKERS ARE COMING!!!1!!11!!!one!!) every time there's a major sporting event anywhere in the US. It gets repetetive after a while.
  8. 7000? Wow... congratulations... and looking forward to the next few thousand!
  9. Bowmore, shisha, and listening to Disintegration. 'Twas a good night, and I don't feel like sleeping just yet....
  10. The search tool is your friend. But this is an old thread... and Tiffany hasn't posted for over a year (or even logged in since October, by the look of it) so you may well be out of luck.
  11. Courtney at CMJ is very good at this.
  12. Visiting a place that was pretty much top of the bucket list. And no, it wasn't someone's incall :)
  13. I have to ask... why does it matter to you whether the person you're with is a full-time SP, or part time? How does the number of other appointments she has affect her time with you?
  14. I agree with everything Porthos said, but to add a couple of things... I think the general rule is: always appreciated, never expected. One exception (kinda) to this is spas, if you see a MA; often the spa itself will only advertize a door fee, and you have to pay the MA for her services, which is often referred to as a "tip" (although it isn't, really). In this case, the door fee goes to the spa (all of it) and the second bit is the MA's share. The total of the two is about what you'd pay an indy MA. If in doubt, ask in advance... No (although see my point about spas above). You MUST have a cell; when you're seeing indy SPs you'll often only have the general location of her incall, and when you get there she'll give you the final directions. A cellphone is essential for this. SPs generally won't call you unless you tell them it's OK to do so, but it's useful if they have a number they can reach you at (e.g. in case of last-minute cancellations - they're rare, but they do happen).
  15. Hope you enjoy posting as well as reading, Clutch. And hope your research and subsequent activities go well :)
