Major Password Security Flaw Exposed In Chrome
Phaedrus replied to roamingguy's topic in Tech corner
Firefox also does this, although you can set a master password for the browser to prevent it. Apparently IE stores the same information but it's a little harder to get. Really, everyone here should be paying attention to this - unless you're completely open about what you're up to with everyone. Do you really want your SO finding your CERB username and password? It could quite easily happen. Do you want ANYONE finding your bank account password? This is more than a little worrying. -
SUMMER LOVE (Aka Hot Summer) - Paradise spa
Phaedrus replied to waterrat's topic in Ottawa Recommendations
I had the pleasure of seeing Summer at Paradise a couple of weeks ago. It seems that I've been meaning to see her for ages, but I'd never actually done so for some reason. Right now, all that messing around seems... foolish. Ah, well, There's no point bemoaning what might have been, is there? At least I made it eventually. Summer has an absolutely beautiful smile, and there was plenty of smiling to go with the conversation as clothes were shed and she began to give me a very good massage. Alas, conversation died a little as the massage went on... no fault of hers, but I was finding it increasingly hard to concentrate on the conversation. Okay, so that was totally her fault :) Anyway, things just got better from there on once I turned over. Alas, all good things have to come to and end, which they did... but there will definitely be an encore. -
Why's it damning? Sure, it may be an issue for some people, but it might be quite the opposite for others :) Anyways, it was previously said in this thread. I know no more than that.

This is by design. CERB's policy is to block links to certain other sites (BP, CL, and I think DL too - and there may be others).

Yep. The only exceptions are the ones on the DNR list. And, of course, if you see someone who prefers not to be reviewed (there are some ladies with this policy) you should respect that. Many of these are not on the DNR list, because one of the things about being there is that you then can't advertize on CERB...

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything here, so I suppose I'd better update you all on what we've been up to over the summer! Well, it's been sunny. Which means sunbathing. Unfortunately Lee and Old Dog both made the elementary mistake of asking the other to put sunscreen on his back. Guys, you should know by now... you're both as bad as each other. I've heard of getting your revenge in first, but I've never seen it done simultaneously before. Ladies, don't they look sexy? Well, having got their tanning done, Lee and OD decided they were going swimming. OD's trip to the beach to go surfing was none too successful... Lee was wise enough to leave the surfboard behind and stick to the pool, which I thought was remarkably sensible. However, he managed to screw even that up, as only Lee can: And finally... despite what Lee would have you believe, I haven't spent the entire time sitting on the beach being manhandled by hot girls. It gets pretty hot there (and not in a good way) and so sometimes, I just need to grab a drink and cool off. Have a great summer, all!

Setting your profile to be visible to registered members only seems reasonable. I don't get why you'd want to make it more restrictive than that - after all, if you're going to be part of an online community, it'd make sense to participate, no? However, this is a bit different for the ladies, for whom their profile page and pics are another chance to advertize... so I'd guess keeping it public makes more sense for them.

I'd prefer to see more information than less. It's nice to be able to just read someone's ad and/or website, book, and show up without having to ask a whole bunch of questions. I like to forget about the commercial aspect of things as much as possible, and I find that having to ask questions detracts from that. Others may differ, of course.
