Depends whether you're actually talking about your profile pic (the one at the top of your profile page) or your avatar (which appears on every post you make). For the avatar: [--]Go to "User CP" (top-left of the page) [--]"Edit Avatar" (under Setting and Options in the menu on the left) [--]And then either provide the URL or an image online, or upload one from your machine. Pay attention tothe size restrictions or it won't work (The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 97.7 KB (whichever is smaller). For the profile pic: [--]From the User CP, choose "Edit Profile Picture" (under "Your Profile") [--]Again, supply an URL or upload a pic from your machine [--]And, again, pay attention to the size restrictions. This one can be bigger than the avatar: The maximum size of your custom image is 468 by 200 pixels or 259.3 KB (whichever is smaller).

To be fair, this could be innocuous. Not always, but it could be. I guess an appropriate answer could be something along the lines of, "Yes, I've been rally busy! I went shopping, and took the dog for a walk, and had lunch with a friend, and..."

Well, it's been far too long since I posted here! So, someone I haven't given a tip o' the hat to yet... EmJ! So, what do you want to know that you don't know already? She's smart. She's funny. She's hot. But you can get all that from reading her posts and looking at her pics, so you don't need me to spell it out for you. And, of course, she's very religious... You can visit the temple if you like... but you probably won't see too much of it, because the High Priestess is terribly distracting... Anyway, we're very lucky to have her here on the board! Hopefully she'll stay with us for a long time to come.

Yep. It's by no means just the US that does this sort of thing... although I think it tends to get more attention when they do it partly because they seem to be far more in-your-face about it than many countries, and partly because it jars so horribly with the whole "Land Of The Free" thing. As OD said, every country has the right to admit or deny entry to anyone (except their own citizens, and any others to whom they may have explicitly awarded those rights) for any reason, however capricious, or for no reason at all. But my understanding (and I should probably say right out that IANAL) is that whenever you go from one country to another, there's a moment when you've left one country, but not yet been admitted to the next. And at this point you're in legal limbo, and you really don't have very many rights at all, or any appeal to any higher authority. You're completely at the mercy of the border guards of the country you're entering, and they generally have a lot of power to make your life utterly miserable. So be polite to them, even (especially!) when they're being utter douchebags.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. And may even argue that because of that fact, the terms have kind of lost any meaning in this industry. Use of these terms in ads does not guarantee anything; and lack of these terms certainly does not mean that a lady's offerings are any less in quality. Yep, absolutely. They may have some relevance to the image a SP is trying to project, but may not have that much relevance to what she actually does or how she does it. To be honest, I barely notice them when I see them in ads or on websites; I'm looking for other things. "Classy", though... I notice that, 'cos it sets alarm bells off for me. And usually gets a supercilious raised eyebrow.

Thieves steal 5.5 tons of Nutella in Germany These thieves might really have sticky fingers. Police said Monday an unknown number of culprits made off with 5.5 tons of Nutella chocolate-hazelnut spread from a parked trailer in the central German town of Bad Hersfeld over the weekend. The gooey loot is worth an estimated $20,710. Germans news agency dpa reported that thieves have previously stolen a load of energy drinks from the same location.
